I remember I found the alien stage to be unsettling too. But for some reason the let there be light level made me stop playing cuz I thought it was too scary.
This was my comfort game growing up and now that I'm grown I'm gonna use it as a comfort video. Also I'm still laughing at the prediction of reptar taking over the city in 2010
Long Saturday afternoons as a kid playing this game with family. The camera rotation looks awkward watching it now but wow what a game. You really did feel immersion playing this game. I remeber another rugrats game but it never could live up to search for reptar.
I honestly did not think much about this game before playing it. The only minigames I've tried before was on a PS demo disc and included the Minigolf and Spike ride levels. But man, this was sooo entertaining! The movement is a little messy sometimes, but the environment and the music and the characters, well it's an awesome game, no joke!
Yeah, this was when THQ started trying to improve BTW did you know that this game was heavily endorsed by SCEA to market the PS1 to toddlers? To prove it this game's commercial had the iconic PlayStation beginning and end jingles that usually were only seen on commercials for Sony-released titles
I can remember my Mum buying me this for after having my tonsils taken out, I was off from school for a month, and this was one of the games I played. I remember being wrapped up nice and snug in the living room playing it
I got up to the Spike level in the sewer as a kid. Was kind of grimy. Kind of scared me 😂 thinking back, I was never good with handling anything remotely dark that wasn't colourful and happy in a video game haha
Just a boy playing this game until I start to understand how the game works. And right where I couldn’t figure out you can save the game with a memory card.
Bro I remember when my friend from school let me borrow this game & it was so fun but before I could beat it he asked for it back 😭 I gotta get this on my PC or find a ps1 & a disc of this game & replay it lol
I just can't watch you bungle this the way you are. .poor sense of direction, running into walls, not cutting through the kitchen during the chuckies glasses level. .I mean this is basic stuff

Huh. thought this game was a fever dream or something I had as a kid.
Nope, it's legit.
Multiple Rugrats games exist actually.
That's so crazy! I felt the same way!
I can’t belive I was capable of playing this when I was like 3 and 4 years old. Such great memories
I’m amazed by that too😂. Can’t imagine myself playing that
I loved the upside down mission
The “Let there be light” level creeped me out as a kid and the Goose in “Grandpas teeth” 😅
I remember I found the alien stage to be unsettling too. But for some reason the let there be light level made me stop playing cuz I thought it was too scary.
That was the only level I always skipped.
Ahhhh I'm glad it's not just me then 😅
Yeah, Let There Be Light both freaked me out and stumped me when I was young, I could never figure out what you were supposed to do.
the golf part is sooo memorable
This was my comfort game growing up and now that I'm grown I'm gonna use it as a comfort video. Also I'm still laughing at the prediction of reptar taking over the city in 2010
This game creeped me outtttt as a kid & I still played it & here I am at 25 & it still scares me😂😂
I still have my copy of this game (PS1). It's short (relatively) and simple, but fun nonetheless. I still play it from time to time.
Ahh I remember loving this game as a kid lol
One of the trippiest games of all time

The first time I stayed up all night as a kid, was playing this game…

Where there other PS1 games made for toddlers?
@@GameGamer OMG Thank you for this! I love it!
I always thought it was Reptar 2010 not Reptar Zolo but you learn something new everyday!
@@GameGamer I remember playing a Tweenies game and a Bob the Builder game on the PS1 when I was a toddler.
I miss playing this game so many games I want to play again.
I love having memories of old games like this.
Stu actually managed to convince a company to put those creepy Mr. Friend dolls out as they're spotted in the Toy Palace level 😂
Lol right 😂 I can’t believe someone actually took them
@@watergirl929 This game is a gem 💎
@@tyreezy87 I agree! I actually still have it and play it sometimes :) it was one of my childhood favorites!
@@watergirl929 I bought a copy off ebay brand new. I agree...it's still a fun game to revisit.

Tommy: **Throws pies at angelica
Angelica: **TRIGGERED**
I remember playing this when I was a kid. I was shocked that the levels didn’t play out exactly like the episodes they were based off of.
I can remember my Mum buying me this for after having my tonsils taken out, I was off from school for a month, and this was one of the games I played. I remember being wrapped up nice and snug in the living room playing it

Yeah that level scared me as a kid too. It felt so creepy like there was someone else down there that would kill you.

2:38:24 Crying Scenes when Mission Fails
The only level I failed to complete was 'The 7 Voyages of Cynthia'
toy palace with the monkey was a nightmare for me as a kid.
Did Bob Singleton compose some of the music for this game? At times it sounds like Barney, especially here. 30:49.
The sewer level gave me nightmares 😩
