So glad I wasn't the only one who got scared playing this game. The whole thing was just eerie. It just had this horrible affect when playing it even during the hide and seek part. Especially hated the ghost level and the toy store level.

In Incident on Aisle 7 on the first part there's a quicker way to get to the next part without crossing the wet floor and jumping from one fruit or vegetable bin to the next. To the right of the poster on the wall at 1:10:24 there is a garden shop area with a Reptar balloon. Select it when you are near it with the Triangle button or Circle button and Tommy will hold it and float to the bakery.
Mary...The one who does Grandpa Lou in this is David Doyle's (who originally voiced him) replacement (Joe Alaskey)since he passed the year before this came out. Both Joe and Jack Riley (Stu) passed last year and sadly Christine (Chuckie) passed 3 years ago.

The goose in the maze, the ghosts, and the creepy toy are the first things that come to mind. PS1 graphics had a tendency to make things look really creepy, even if they're not meant to be.
