Man I'm having a flashback to 39 years ago in HVAC Trade school lol. I still have 2 versions of Modern Refrigeration and I bet your HVAC training book is easier to read and enjoy. I had a awesome female master HVAC Refrigeration engineer who was my teacher for 13 months from 8 AM - 3 PM Monday- Friday. She took her time teaching her students and Craig you remind me how important a good teacher is when learning anything in life. Keep up the great work and I will purchase a paperback version when it becomes available. Iam still old school and like actual books in my hands. I have been a Maryland Master License HVAC holder for 29 years now. I still learn new tricks about HVAC and old dogs are never to old to learn. Peace Man \m/\m/...
I purchased the book, so far I like it thanks so much I like your videos and all your efforts you put on to teach us everything you know about the trade, I really appreciate it and god bless you and your family
Can't thank you enough for your clear and through videos. After getting back into the industry after 7 years I needed some refresher courses. Your videos have helped me tremendously! Look forward to purchasing the book in paperback.
Hey Purple, the saturated state is anywhere in the coil where both the liquid and vapor exist at the same time. There certainly is a lot going on but yes anything that helps make the teaching clearer, thanks and I have them circled in the book. I also have sections in the book discussing the sat state, thanks!
Hey Acservicetech, wanted to let you know I just got the ebook and it is fantastic!!!!! I love the illustrations and easy to follow steps. I will be getting a copy of the hard back to. Thanks for the knowledge and sharing it. Oh yeah and another great video!
Hi there. Just wanted to say that i just got your book and i like it. Thanks for all your effort so far and keep up the good work. I didnt go deep into your book since i just got it but as far as i went into it, i can say that it really is very well organised and it really is easy to read.
Hi I have a MXZ-8C-60NA2 total 4 zones new set up 3 zones working fine as as I turn 4th zone my suction line goes down below 50psi or 10° 2-3 hours later error code 1501 , when I turn on heat mode my suction line goes to RETARD above 350psi I checked all communication wires all matching, planing on disconnecting high side on the branch box for that particular 4th zone see if my workers forgot to remove cup from the branch box flaring part 🤔 There is 1x MXZ-8C-60NA2 also 4 zones doing amazing job I have total 2x MXZ-8C-60NA2 8 zones at this particular job site in Queens ny. Any advice would be appreciated!!! I watched most of your content good info!!!, thank you for putting all the effort 🙏
Great description of the refrigeration cycle Craig! When one purchases the E-book, will there will a discount for those folks when the paperback version comes out? Have a great weekend!
Hi Craig, do you know when you will get the paperback available? I have watched a lot of your videos and they're quite helpful to me in order to understand HVAC system.
Alot of these videos fail to mention HOW, the heat is exchanged in the evaporator coil...the process is called CONVECTION...other than that great video!
Yes, and another thing that adds efficiency is the gas condensing will maintain the gas/fluid temperature, preserving the temp differential with the air and providing a consistent heat transfer. The same happens in the reverse direction in the evaporator coil. This video also explains why it's a very bad idea to overcharge a system.
