Cats are WAY cool and SO funny.🤣 The two who own me haven't gotten quite that creative at waking me up. YET. They usually accomplish that by chasing each other all over the place and stomping on my head while doing it. 😹😸🐈
Neighbours cat lives in my home & neighbours home. He is like a communal cat, ie literally has many homes. In the winter he would come in & demand best place by the log fire. In the summer he commandeers the conservatory & demands snacks. He usually will creep in & meow so loudly he wakes me up, or he would put his claws through the bed sheets into my leg. He is a strange but loving bengal cat

This is why I always make sure my cat has enough dry food, always, so also during the night.
Wet food, by far his favourite, he only gets when I eat in the evening.
Makes that my cat Sammy enjoys sleeping together, for as long as possible even. And me too.

Our cats aren't always hungry when they wake me up in the middle of the night. Often they just see a tiny section of the bottom of any one of their food bowls and they go into full blown panicked fear of starvation mode. 🙀 🙄
Oh god! I feel you on that one! My cat Rainstorm is the same way! He won't shut up until the bottom is covered with food!🤣🤣🤣
Omg I thought I was imagining that!
It's actually because those bowls are too deep so the cats head/neck are at a bad angle for them to eat at.
Switch to feeding using a flat dish and you'll find they will finish all the food yet never seem to have that problem they have now
@@UncleBenjs i tried that...my cats like to pick one biscuit up at a time, drop it on the floor and then eat it. Plates dont have that effect 😂😂

So cute…. When my cat had kittens every morning when I’d open my sons bedroom door the kittens would coming running into his room and onto his bed to get him up it was priceless….
My eldest cat Gracie (she’s 15 years old now!) does the funniest things to get my dad out of bed every morning. She likes to wake him up at 4:30 because, not only does she want food, but she also knows that’s the time Dad likes to get up and get ready for work. So every morning, at 4:30, Gracie will hop up on my parents’ bed and sit beside my dad. First, she’ll put her face near his, just enough so that her whiskers tickle his cheeks. If he doesn’t get up after that, she’ll gently poke his face with one paw, not using claws or anything. If he doesn’t get up after THAT, she’ll just outright sit on his chest, then swish her tail over his face, over and over, until he finally wakes up like, “Okay, okay, I’m up!” Now, mind you, I’ve never actually seen this for myself. I’ve only heard about it from my parents - and even still, it’s freaking hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
Has he sat on his face before? Whiskers did that with me 5:50 am to let me know he wants to eat while I take my 6 oclock meds
I have two said “alarm clocks.” They stare at me. Then, Kiki will gently tap me. So cute.

46 seconds - reminds me of my now deceased Ginger tabby cat Freddy. It was incredible (and very annoying!) how he could change tone and pitch of his meows to wake me up. Persistent little guy would just not stop until I was up to feed him. He could annoy me so much in the mornings! Lol, Ah, the memories! 😂
But he was a great cat and is sorely missed.

We are in our hotel room watching this video. My wife and I had a wonderful two day trip up to Seattle to see Chris Rock and kick around for a day. We both miss our two cats so much we tried to get a earlier flight this morning. No luck there.
Three things matter to me in my life. My wife and our two cats. I told her that again yesterday as we were having clam chowder at Pikes Market. All you cat owners understand this emotion I'm very sure. They're marvelous creatures, a we also take care of feral cats also. Adopt from a shelter if you decide to get a kitty. Get two! They will keep each other company....

@@wendyarbes9514 yes! That was the one. We had fish and chips and clam chowder. It was a great day.We had already eaten jalapeno bagel dogs with cream cheese and mustard. Plus we had a full breakfast at the Marriott before we walked down to the Market. We also purchased bacon,maple donut holes in case of emergencies....

Mine starts with walking all over you a few times, a few head nudges, purring in your ear, then walk all over you again. If I say "5 minutes," she will wait HER VERSION of 5 minutes snooze (sometimes shorter, sometimes longer) laying down next to or on top of you before starting again.

Mine every morning at eight or nine. Two of the fastest ways is licking my face constantly and purring very loud.
I had a cat who did that, too! His name was Dexter, and he did that for a LONG time. Nearly every morning at around 6:00, he would sit out in the hallway between our bedrooms and just HOWL like a freaking fire engine. He acted like he’d never been fed in his life (when, in fact, we always spoiled him with treats and food)! He wouldn’t shut up until one of us finally relented and came downstairs… or until one of us took him inside a bedroom to cuddle him and get him to calm down - and even then, that only worked for like, 2-5 minutes. 😂 When he passed away two years ago, though… feeding time in the morning got a lot more quiet. It just wasn’t the same after that. 😔
My cat used to help get me up for school. My mam would be like 'Let's go get him up'. Cat would trot up with the stairs with her, into my room, get on my bed and dig me out from under the covers. We'd pet him and kiss him for a bit, i'd get up for school, he'd settle himself on my pillow for the day
My old cat used to freaking jump on my *solar plexus.*

My cat rubs her whiskers against my face. I’m a light sleeper and her whiskers are super ticklish. She will then proceed to head butt my chin and in extreme cases give me kisses. I’m so glad that she’s gotten older. She used to bite me 😅

I had a lovely ginger cat years ago who pulled the long cord pull to put the main bedroom light on. She could open bolted doors, the fridge and doors with a knob. She’d close the fridge door after she’d stolen something. Hungry ? Not at all - just hunting. I’d find one sausage under the bed when she’d eaten the others. 😂
