    Through 95% of the video, I was saying to myself, "What is she doing? I don't get it!" Then, it all came out right in the end and I was in awe. "She's a wizard!" Seriously, though, this method is so much easier than any other bow tutorial I've ever seen. A much simpler method. Thanks!

    I ordered what I thought was a bow from Amazon but instead received ribbon! I panicked and searched UA-cam and this was the first search result. Boy am I glad I did! I didn’t have a wire so I used a long piece of ribbon to tie it together and cut the ends into a slant for the tail and it still turned out amazing! And this was all in a matter of minutes!! Yay!! Thank you so much, so grateful!

    No luck - my ribbon reel arrived and I've tried a few times now and keep ending up with the last 'open piece where the wire is' (end of loop #6) on the outside and unsecured so after the middle cuts + wire + tails when I pull out and twist, that last cut end is just flying in the wind so to speak and not attached so the whole thing just falls apart. It's that part I mentioned below 1:55-2:10 I'm just not understanding the 'find the center and bring it to' bit because when folding it one over that end is just loose. You mention it's going to be 'in the middle' but the video shows it almost to the end. I also think my ribbon is different - the wires are on the edges not 'in the middle' of the ribbon so the twisting of loops also not working. But I tried.

    I love it but I wish you could’ve slowed down a little especially when you cut the end and attached the wire.

    Lisa your bow is beautiful! Do you think I could use a 4 inch ribbon and make your bow for my staircase?

    • @LisasWorld100
      @LisasWorld100  7 років тому

      You could. I would put 5 loops on each side of the bow. Just remember... the farther away the bow the smaller it will look. Make sure they are big enough for the top bows to show well. Thanks for watching. Merry Christmas. Lisa

    You can also use part of the ribbon to tie it and that will be your tails. That's what I do to tie my bows. It cuts down an extra step and you do not have to buy the wire.

      You can and it will save you the wire expense however I prefer being able to control the tails and where they hang. I can never get them to lay straight when I use the ribbon to tie the bow. Thanks for the suggestion and for stopping by.
