The trio of Garrett Wilson/Mike Williams/Malachi Corley makes a lot of sense conceptually. Garrett is the middle of the field target, Mike Williams is the post/down the field option, and Malachi Corley is the screen/YAC guy.
screen YAC guy is not a real NFL position you have to do SOMETHING else
Not saying or intimating that Corley is Deebo, but... Just a "LITTLE" context here; Deebo 6'0" 216 lbs 17 reps on bench. Corley 5'11" 215 lbs "27" reps on bench (225lbs).
What are these analysts talking about? What are these talking heads saying? I keep seeing & hearing that Corley is smaller or not as "big" as Deebo. Simply not true. ALL it took was just a "little" analysis, a "little" study. A "little" time to look up these numbers.

Yea, the narrative that Corley is a "smaller version " is laughable , Samuel was officially 5'11 1/4 at the combine ( NFL has him "listed" at 6 ft, didn't know a redshirt senior could grow? Corley was 5'10 5/8, both weighed 215. Corley has a better body, and is stronger. Deebo ran 4.48 at the combine, Corley ran 4.47 at his pro day " against strong winds".
This narrative that Pro day times are always faster is also not true anymore, They want you to run fast at the combine, it's hard cement underneath an inch of turf, designed to run fast times. I think in 2-3 years they are changing stadiums. Don't be surprised to see 40 times way down in a few years.
Hot take, Corley is a better prospect than Deebo at the same age and in my opinion more he will be more durable .
