I've had such a hard time finding interesting sims for my sim to date and only kept meeting the same ones, or they just leave. So I'm really ecxited for the app, also for the turn on's and off's!
It is interesting but feels recycled a little. I use clubs too! I am still excited to try it. I was thinking Teddy with the necklace and you mentioned it 🤣 The cas stuff looks great! It feels more game pack. But, like you said the trailer can only be so long so maybe there is more we weren't shown.
I agree! I always reserve final opinions for when the pack is actually out for sure! The sims team is doing a live stream on the 18th so I’m hoping we’ll get a better look at the gameplay then
I’m really interested in how exactly all this “love struck singles” system gonna work specifically because not everybody plays sims in English. It may look kinda ok if you play with language that has somewhat similar alphabet but what if you r from arab or slavic country? That’s gonna be a bit off-putting I suppose. Might change my settings for that specifically 😅
Oh I didn’t even consider a language barrier! I agree that, that would be weird. I guess the work around would be to play with only ones you’ve favorited but it still feels unfair that people who’s primary language isn’t English would have to take that extra step so I hope the sims team considered that!
I won't lie I'm really excited about the new CAS items, I think I'll just wait until it's on sale to buy it though because it doesn't seem worth 40 whole dollars. That's worth more than two hours of work getting paid minimum wage
I notice pc players are not surprised but unfortunately I can’t help but be a little interested just because I play on console. Even as a console player I can realize that this is definitely not expansion pack material, and it seems iffy as a whole but it’s still new gameplay for me that I would not be able to have access to. I’m at a lose-lose lol.
It definitely doesn’t feel like an expansion pack to me just based on the trailer. I’m hopeful that as we get to see more of it maybe it’ll feel bigger. I definitely wouldn’t buy it until you saw some reviews. The plan a date page looked A LOT like my wedding stories. So I fear there’s a chance this pack won’t work as intended
Feels more game pack. I don’t think I would get it. I might see if I can create the vibes with packs I own. I do set up a dating club via Get Together.
Feels like paying 40 dollars for a basic mod, build and buy and a world lol. I was pretty underwhelmed if I’m honest. X
I agree! The only thing “new” is the dating app (which there are mods for) everything else feels recycled to me

I feel like a dating club with changing the “do’s” of the club would mimic a custom date really well!
