Great vid showing the breakdown of parts! - Do you remember the symptoms? Mine is buzzing when you turn it on but I checked capacitor on a meter and was fine, changed that anyway and no difference - I've stripped as far as the motor but didnt want to split the case as I can see mine still has good oil (ie not emulsified like yours) and wreck the seal. Mine is same model...
Karcher are rubbish. Absolute rubbish. I have had nothing but trouble with mine. They last through the warranty then fall apart. Avoid like the plague.
Didn’t it come with a warranty? Crazy the windings were burned like that! I’ve been working on a HD 5/17 and it had 15W40 covering the wobble plate. I don’t know wth that was in your video. Usually when it just hums it’s the capacitor that needs replacing. If it’s left on humming for too long the windings will indeed burn
It had a warranty yes, but shop claimed i "stored it wrong", which I didn't, drained it for water and stored it inside during the winter months. Learned my lesson buying from that shop! hehe
The last company I was with bought Karcher Professional cleaning products, and they were all shit! The B300RI LP sweeper-scrubber started developing hydraulic leaks after 4 years of use. The Karcher KM90/60 R BP Adv sweeper never worked right even when it was new. Left side broom never lowered on its own with the right side broom. You would have to poke it with a stick to get it to lower. The filter on the sweeper would fall through the opening where it fits after a while, even with a genuine filter. Getting parts for Karcher equipment is a nightmare, and if you don't order parts ahead of time, you're shit out of luck!
Ive just renewed the pressure switch spring inside the white electric box assembly, the compression spring had rusted and broken, karcher dont sell the spring seperately, they want £50 for box complete with wire and plug, all for a spring which cost pennies !

There were no symptoms to be honest, it just suddenly seized up on me, weirdly!

Damn that sucks! I would’ve demanded that they proved it. It’s their claim so it should’ve been for them to prove, running from the warranty like that

So on the outlet to the hose u could remove all that plastic and use the threads and put on a hose directly right?
I’m not sure! But I can check :)
@@BlikkenslagerOlsen I did check the connection is the M22 connector
Sock the winding in lacquer.
