Its still crazy when we actually think about it. In a metal song, the guitars are what makes the song catchy and memorable. In 90% of metal shows, all we hear is DRUMS, DRUMS, DRUMS. I wish metal bands would boost how loud the guitars are
Weis nicht aber ich fand irgendwie das deren tonmann bisschen verkackt hat. Garkein vergleich vom Soundbild zu Sleep Token. War alles besser abgestimmt und bei denen hats richtig gedrückt ohne das der Sound der stimme und Instrumente drunter litten. Es war ein geiles konzert , keine frage aber trotzdem war mein empfinden das der Sound besser hätte sein können. Aber ist ja eh ansichtssache und jeder empfindet da anders
stimmt definitiv, das ist allerdings schon seit jahren ein massives problem. bei liberate waren beispielsweise die backing vocals von mike gar nicht zu hören, also überhaupt nicht. nur ein beispiel. den sound fand ich aber insgesamt ok, für slipknot verhältnisse eben (vor bis vor ~12 jahren war ihr live sound deutlich besser abgemischt)
@@Bahomar war mein erstes Konzert von Slipknot 🙂 Ja ich fand den Sound auch okay aber wie kann das sein das eine erfahrene Band da so probleme hat ? Ist der tonmann zu Alt und hört nichts? 😅
@@DCKING90 ist sicher eine besondere herausforderung bei 9 instrumenten (in diesem fall nur 8, da clown fehlte) aber früher hat das ja auch gut geklappt, als sie noch ihren alten sound guy hatten, der leider verstorben ist....

With SOAD I think the guitars are pushed up further in the mix than the drums
