Corey has apologized for struggling massively with his voice this evening. Don´t know if he was sick or what´s the reason but it sounded pretty rough, which I liked.
God damn that bass, finally something off the new album, this sounds much more raw, I’m jealous who were there because they witnessed a new setlist with more deepcuts
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh True, bro, but I prefer Acidic, I love that part "I'm livin' in a dead man's shoes" he sings so... Those last lines always get me. Medicine for the Dead, Acidic & Yen are the best.
Seeing that they can pull off this song so well, I would love for them to perform other darker ballad-esque songs like Finale, Gehenna, or maybe even Spiders.
He probably quit a while ago and they just officially announced it So yeah I'm pretty Sure it's probably somebody close to them They know or a Craig's Tech guy temporarily replacing him And had to learn All the parts on the fly.

This hook riff is still my Favourite riff of slipknot. It sounds great and it is so much fun to play. Love this song and i'm happy that they played it live now.
i prefer this to the album version. it's so much more nuanced with the pre-chorus screams and the pitch change on the second verse section. Jays drumming also sounded different on the bridge as well. overall sounds so much more creepy and technical.
Love that Slipknot fans are actually keen as for them to play new shit!! So fresh compared to fans of other bands who go to see them just for old songs
For those worried about Corey's voice, chill everything is fine, he is just adjusting to this new technique, when he does his cleans his false chords activate by default so that cuts his cleans a bit, he will get over it with practice, and it doesn't hurt the voice
He actually said he was sick on this concert, but yeah even on the album studio recording there are a few parts where his voice breaks (for example the Hivemind pre-chorus) so yeah he is just adjusting and I actually love this new technique, his voice haven’t sound this brutal and angry since maybe the start of the AHIG tour
@@HiddenH377Valley really? That's because when you are sick you struggle scream but not with cleans, it could happen but it's weird and yah his voice is in his prime now technically talking

I really don’t understand people giving crap to Corey for not singing “perfectly” to their wants and needs. Unlike when Paul played live, it's not buried as fuck in the background. Very audible. Love it.
