What is the context behind this hydraulic thing? Seems like a lot of people are praising T1 for it, but I am clueless about the event and what happened.
@chickenpit9991 In this tournament, you got a golden triangle medal that will be placed in the middle of the trophy if you win, but if you lose, your medal will be bent with a hydraulic press usually by the winning team. We never got any footage of T1 pressing their opponents' medals but rather the tournament's staffs
Faker & Chovy respects each other and they are on a good term. Only the obsessive & ignorant fans diss each other. T1 has no reason to disrespect other teams, because they are the top dog. They even denied to press the button on hydraulic press. What a class.
Are you high T1 fans couldn't give two damn about what rivalry.. I just hate chovy personally because as a midlaner.. playing AD on mid is as pitiful and sinful as playing vayne top

Not for League of Legends though. The new format for League across all regions has put so much more at stake for teams to do well, especially in the summer split. No way will a team take a break from domestic games to potentially do worse (which happened for T1) for EWC. EWC is the new IEM. I said it right from the start.

EWC is a separate tournament to Rito's tournaments and as per last year, it cuts right into the middle of domestic seasons. It's literally IEM 2. Good luck convincing top teams to play it at the expense of potentially losing their opportunity in Worlds.
