Unironically, yeah. Just got done with a oneshot where Space Clowns were our arch-enemies. They were legitimately terrifying, and it basically took using an ancient nuke and a disintegration spell on said nuke's casing to kill their flagship... which was in the shape of a clown doll.

I mean the space clowns are similar to Hags. Humanoid in appearance only and otherwise an exaggerated parody of sadism on the inside. Actually why don't we have space hags?

If they're able to travel to the Ethereal Plane and the Lower Planes, they probably have the means to travel through Wildspace and the Astral Plane. I can imagine them using hut-like spelljammers shaped like chickens.

Then she's befuddled even further learning that they're actually effective in combat, so she has no choice but to keep them, much to her chagrin while Asmodeus is pissing himself laughing. On another note, as they're Fiends, you can technically now create Space Clown Tieflings.

I love literally everything this video revealed. Clown space. Ring shaped planets. Can turn into balloons. Yes please. My only complaint is I'm gonna make them explode into confetti when they die.

These seem like they'd fit right in with the Rakdos Cult from MtG Ravnica. Since the MtG settings are part of the D&D multiverse anyway, I'd say they definitely have some ties in my setting.

Thats why I got upset when I found out that almost all the creature scenes in the 2011 The Thing were originally practical effects but when the studio screened it they said it looked too 80’s and demanded they rotoscope the practical effects put and replace them with CGI that was crappy because it was rushed.

D&D is such an “à la cart” game. I think it’s great that Wizards is developing rule sets and characters for every oddball fictional creation there out there.
Finally! I think we need more of those fiend clowns in media, like the Dead Moon Circus and the Cult of Rakdos. You can also count the Klowns as well, I guess.

While watching this video I thought of two things: 1). A ship of Space Clowns captained by a Pink Dragon (released in an early version of D&D), and 2.) A spelljamer ship that acts like a clown-car with the clown/cartoon physics turned up to 11.
@@carsonrush3352 But a Pink Dragon makes more sense. They're all about jokes/laughs and have a neutral alignment. And the space clowns are funny in a scary way. Also, Pink Dragons have a breath weapon that makes the ground slippery and stings if it gets in someone's eyes. So they're basically a perfect match made in Wildspace.

I was trying to lead Wild Beyond the Witchlight into Radiant Citidel and, eventually, Spelljammer content. Killer space clowns are somehow the perfect bridge between all three of those pieces of content
The song Send in the Clowns may have a different meaning in Clown Space. I'm looking forward to picking this up. Originally it was just for the Thri-Kreen finally getting to be playable, on 5e. However I'm digging it all as a whole

OMG, Killer Klown from Outer Space is one of my favorite movies, cleber, trashy and with state-of-the-art puppetry I love this new Idea, I ran a game were the enemy was exactly a Killer Klown referrence, a fiend clown just like these ones. Can't wait for the new book!

I thought they were going to be Fey or Humanoids, I never expected them to be Fiends. Regardless, they're a perfect fit for The Carnival in Ravenloft.
