OK I have an iterator OC, his name is Spur of the Moment. He was special designed by an insanely rich ancient for the sole puurpose to destroying other iterators. His creator was so against the iterator project, he made an iterator to combat the iterator project.
Spur of the Moment didn't know about the great problem. He always focused on attacking other iterators. It wasn't until the Ancients ascended that the other iterators told him this. And then he was like "oh... oh no im so sorry lets be friends" so he started trying to solve the Great Problem. But because of his coding, it doesn't really matter what he does he's gonna end up hurting someone.
So basically nobody talks to him except for NRL, but he accidentally caused NRL to collapse. So then he was just like "Screw it i'm gonna collapse myself" so he did. The story revolves around a gang of scavengers cutting Spur out of his can.
