The software EcoStruxure Machine Expert Basic (former SoMachine Basic) allows you to program the Modicon M221:

The software EcoStruxure Machine Expert Basic is Free, you need to have an account in our License Portal in order to register it:

In order to program the Modicon M221 you can use a miniUSB cable (TCSXCNAMUM3P or BMXXCAUSBH018).

Is there any simple way to make HSC retentive in M221, not to loose value after power off?

Hi there! I do not think it is possible to make it retentive. I am not sure which application you have but I recommend you to have a homing sensor to reset the hsc value

Hi alireza! The idea is to make something similar for the EcoStruxure Machine Expert (M241/M251 and the M262) but I am still thinking on the content. I will come up with something for next year at the moment there some guidance and tips on my channel for that range.
