- The Tata Nexon was launched last year after a lot of anticipation and it comes across as a very promising compact SUV. But does it have what it takes to rival the likes of established competitors like the Ford EcoSport?
Both the SUVs are feature loaded. While the Nexon gets 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, both mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the Ford EcoSport gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon petrol engine which gets either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT.

Duster twist was nice but the quality and Renault after sales is almost equivalent to Skoda the horror.
No, never a duster - a very bold design for now, but nexon man super good design. Mileage and cruising is super good, also picks up well👍

Duster is different from nexon and ecosport, it is the most fun to drive and proper 4*4 machine in the segment, only problem with the car is Renault fail to update them properly
Even with price cut y do sud any one prefer a gen old duster. thanks to renault india for copromising on airbag size which has reduced its saftey rating to 3 .. Ecosport for fun Nexon for practicality
@Faisal Bhai any ford vehicle has drive mode. You can manage it via instrument cluster. Eco mode:ON/OFF. With eco mode off the throttle response bumps up to a larger extent.

Ford eccosport is 2lakhs costlier at top end ? Chuck eccosports then. There are better cars in that range. Nexon seems better at that stage. And duster base or mid base will be available for the price ? Which has nothing inside the car than the car as whole.
How can you say nexon's petrol engine is poorly tuned? Is the company mad? Illiterate? Don't they know how to tune engine? All companies do optimum tuning which is most suitable for long run and overall life. All the love you're getting from your fans is making you overconfident to give judgement. Don't take my words harshly you're a good reviewer but this was opposite.

Nexon is great Indian made product for international markets. I ignore nonsense comments in vlog and by people. Soon XUV300 is gonna launch but we Indian will give negative feedback for that car too. Ford or Tata both have less maintenance cost....But Renault big No......High maintenance cost....and need to improve service quality
Nexon is a great value for money car... But the atmosphere at tata showroom is pathetic. They are not talking properly to potential buyers so imagine how they will behave after sale. Sales person busy playing mobile games and laughing sharing jokes with each other. I had to ask myself ki bhaiya gaadi dikhwa do koi. And amazingly nobody from tata called me after that day. If you wouls have visited some other showroom they could have called at least once or twice to know if you are buying or not. This shows the future of Nexon owners isn't gonna peaceful. Booked EcoSport now.

@@jyothismgeorge6013 Both are very similar in terms of performance and fuel efficiency. Although, the Nexon makes more power and torque, the Ecosport's diesel is as good as the Tata's and actually feels slightly quicker too.
@@nazaarmohamed8131 That's great even with 215 nm ecosport is quicker 💥👌 but actually it should have been nexon quicker than ecosport because it makes 260nm and 110 ps but ford is ford they do wonder with lesser torque and power figures on paper I am impressed 😁👍

And since when has Ecosport Automatic become pleasure to drive? It was not pleasure to drive even when it had DSG in earlier model. We drove it alongside Polo GST and found Ecosport seriously lacking. And now with torque converter, it would be even more lazy. You may read reviews of Ecosport DSG AT and almost every owner was disappointed with performance. Sure, it was a good commuter car but performer, it was not.

Tata Nexon is a very good looking and a solid car, its performance is no doubt the best.. But Eco Sport is better in term of performance, so smooth and less noise.. take a test drive both of these car then you will know the difference..
