Synthwave is futuristic, has no vocals and is mostly electronic, it can have a certain 80s/90s aesthetic. Then you got vaporwave, which has more vocals, and is less aggressive. Then there's lofi, which incorporates anime and is more like beats/rap. Finally, there's indie bedroom pop, which comes in the form of rock bands that have a dreamy aesthetic.
