Heck yes, can't wait for that full install cus it'll help me be able to put one on, as well. I seen that SloMoto video, too.. heckin good info! The funny thing is my gf bought herself a KLX300SM the same day I got my DRZ. Seems to be a popular combination 😁

Turn your accelerator pump nozzle so the stream hits the needle. That will help break up the fuel for a better mixture. I mastered these carburetors when I was running them on GSXR 1100’s back in the day :)
How do you rotate it? Just grab it with pliers? I've got an E model DRZ with a 24 year old FCR in it. Thinking about replacing it with one of these Chinese FCRs sicne my original is kinda crusty and has given me trouble of the years. Though it does run ok at the moment.
Thank you, thank you and thank you for doing this. I've been looking at fcr clones for the DRZ. This is by far the best video I've seen for details on the jetting. DRZ community is going to love this. Well done and merry Christmas 🎅

Buenas que tal tengo un proyecto con mi drz 400 sm 2008. Compré un carburador fcr de 39 mm de Ali express, trajo sus jilet pero quisiera saber cómo carburar cual sería la mejor opción para una buena potencia
So my DRZ has been losing power for a second in the woods at low rpms with this carb like its staved for fuel for a bit right at the bottom of the rev range, otherwise runs great idles great. Do you think I need to adjust the accelerator pump of rejet? Its got the factory jets same Kipa carb that you have there. I was hoping your were to going to show us how to adjust the pump but you just showed us that yours is great and moved on. So basically should i rejet the pilot to remedy my problem or figure out how to adjust the pump?
Hey folks, question, if i plan to just use ny stock exhaust, would it still be worthwhile to install and fcr39 carb? Or should i just make do with the stock carb instead?

Hey man what are the 2 jets on the red adapter side, I have the same pump and was wondering how many turns out you run the jet on the left under the red adapter,
You need the aluminum air box adapter because it uses a o-ring seal against the carb body and keeps both air jets out of the elements. There around $35-$50 but well worth the money.

What I like is that there are minimal hoses, fuel, I guess you can add a res overflow and the idle screw is not technically a hose at all!
