Hey guys, at 10:07 you can tell the brake light is also LED when you open the lift gate, only the reverse light isn’t
I priced out a 2023 Trailblazer earlier today and compared it to a similarly equipped 2024 Trax. The Trailblazer was $3,500 more. That's not including the upgraded information and infotainment displays on the Trax. I would assume that the 2024 Trailblazer would be an even bigger difference.
Excellent video guys!
Looks amazing. I only find myself wishing for a mechanical key w/ the fob (to take in the water diving, surfing etc) or slots on the roof rails to attach a lock box. I know you can get a key pad put on but it looks kinda funky to me. So many great features and I especially love that the front seat folds flat too making an 8' long cargo area.
I watch your video on this trailblazer like 40 times 😅 I want one 😊
I'm so close to getting a 2023 but now I'm thinking about waiting for this gem 😭😍🤣
It like it! I saw one at a auto show I went to
They should have used gloss black on the center pillars, with tinted windows it would really blend together better.
It seems you guys are the ONLY UA-cam reviewers to do a Hands-On Overview of the 2024 Trailblazer! Props! I'm seriously looking at one of these when my lease completes this year. Looks really awesome (quite a bit less horsepower than my 2021 Mazda3, but I think it'll still be OK. I'm not an aggressive driver). Am waiting for these (the 2024's) to hit the lots, so I can test drive one!
I like watching videos by Car Confections :)
Excellent updates to balance it against the new Trax.
See I disagree I wish it differentiated itself more. Like a Bronco Sport vs Escape.
Love the panaramic roof option and update to new Drivers Dashboard
Really enjoying my 2024 Trailblazer RS. Does just as much as my 2020 Equinox did and more.
Nice looking Blazer. Thanks, guys for showing it and explaining all the details. Appreciated!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
@@CarConfections hey bro sometimes go in this types of fair, and review SUVs car
I have the 2021 trailblazer rs and still loving it. It has most of the features of this - wireless charging, wireless CarPlay, heated seats. The updated dash and screen is a bit cooler on this new one but I don’t feel like I’m missing out much 😂
You must enjoy low qualityness, I bet it won't be lasting to the 100k mark without issues 😂
@@cormaro13you must enjoy being a TROLL i bet you won't last 60 seconds in the real world.
@@cormaro13who cares? Shut up
gosh look at the amzing car!! I love this so much !!
They are so beautiful and cheap i want one
Nice to see GM doing major updates to the front end and overall style both inside and out. Having the 11" screen and DIC from the Trax to the Equinox EV is a good thing on GM's part. Makes it more appealing to customers know that whatever model they go with. It'll have that same standard DIC and screen. Although I will miss the analogue gauges. But in the end, less moving parts I suppose. And people like being able to make it more personal for those areas.
Ooo ok 👍 o😮ooooo
Nice interior
Jeeez this is a nice refresh. It’s making me consider trading in my 2020 Trailblazer. That’s interior and car play screen is SICKKK.
Just get a mazda already 🤦 it's interior is already ahead of this
@@cormaro13no
Getting one of these trailblazer but in 2023 in the blue color
Fhey changed the length of the back windshield window! Lol that looks a lot better
Would be cool if they put their 2.7 turbo in it.
I had 2021 bronco sport it has a 3cl engine but it feels like a v6 for me
I think I'll be trying to put in an order for the 2024 Equinox EV. If they change the tax credit to just an up front discount as is rumored it'll be even better.
I have the 22 Equinox RS and enjoy it. But I am very much looking forward to the EV version. From what I can see of it looks really good. And the price point and those credits will make it popular.
Looking nice👍
Amazing 😍
O carro ficou lindo!
Great refresh for the most part updating the inside was a great idea.
GM always seems to do bad cuts when doing a update silly things but they make a huge difference. The trial blazer has very low night viability anyone concerned about night driving this 2024 probably is a bad choice. In 2024 they took away the fog lights which were a huge help and needed for night driving since the standard head lights not sufficient are below average . Not to mention the passive entry on the back doors. when carrying things or having a child to get in the back a button on the door is a must in this price range of 35000-40000. These cuts make GM hold there name of a cost cutting junk vehicles, to bad they never learn. They just keep doing the same cuts over and over again with every model.
This blue looks prettier than the videos of them at the dealership
Chevy low key making some of the best looking affordable cars in the game
what's the point of both the 2024 trax and 2024 trailblazer?
I wouldn't mind considering a lesser expensive SUV if they can at least perform well on the highway and come with shark fin instead of the antenna of yesteryear.
To each his own. I've owned GM for 30 years - only GMC YukonDenalis and loaded Enclaves. Recently got burned - Dealer even showed me some internal warranty policies and communications from GM. No more GM for me. For the first time in my life - Honda, Infiniti and Mazda on my list. Never ever sat in one in my life but I'm now excited to try.
Mazda all day, been loving mine for years with no problems
Power driver seat?
Awesome !!! Review Mason & Drew .👍🤗🔑🚗 You Bro's Are the Best !!!👍🚗
I want one ❤
Nice video
Thanks!
A great car over all. After 3000 in 2 months of purchase I have a 30 plus MPG average and is fun to drive over my last 2016 Kia Serento. I love the monitors and custom cluster settings for the dash🎉.
I don't even think of the 3 cylinder engine. I get shy of 400 miles per tank. The RS is a fun drive. 🎉
Not sure why they removed fog lights it gives it a more aggressive look with the 3 light stack. I had a 23 AWD fully loaded but it got totaled I am now in another RS Nitro Yellow but it has the CVT 😭. The 9-speed makes all the difference I highly recommend
Thats an understatement ;)
@@ahighervibe4086 For sure that 9-speed put down the little power it has to get you going until turbos kicked in lol
Awwww. I just bought a 2023 RS Nitro Yellow. Used but only 5k miles. Love it already. Has way more than I expected.❤❤❤
I like it and the new Trax to
Love ❤️ the new Trax but I have the 2021malibu in red
@@lisamccray9079 how do you like it?
You guys must enjoy poor and low qualityness 😂
No fog light bro?
I have a 2023 Trailblazer and I’m not liking it ! I have the RS model and the suspension is very bumpy , back door does not open completely and it’s been in the shop now 2 times . Car has 2000 miles only !! Did I make a mistake ??
Very nice job with my dream vehicle guys.
😂😂 if this a dream car you're poor , mazda so much better than chevy will ever be

@Johnnyiswhere 🤣 u can hate when the poor don't know what low quality Is even when the proof is right in front of them lol
@@cormaro13 people are struggling financially. Why are you making fun of poor people?
@@Johnnyiswhere cause there's better cars out there for that price amount , tell the poor to stop being lazy and stupid and read for once lol
Chevy is upping the price of the vehicle almost daily!
Chevrolet is building quality cars. To diminish old, bad memories, GM needs to rebrand Chevrolet and a black bow tie helps a lot. Trailblazer can compete with Kia & Honda but needs an image tweak on the coasts
This comment is a joke 😂 , chevy hasn't built anything quality wise in the last 10 years , you're a complete idiot if u believe quality and chevy are in the same sentence 😂😂
It's costs $55,000 in UAE.
now how about they do the same for the blazer
What do you think is going to happen?
Nice car
they should put I4 in the trailblazer
I was at the NY Auto Show. Wish I had met u guys!
We just bought a 2023 LS ( base ) Trailblazer model with the 1.2 & we test drove a LT model with the 1.3; There was no difference in the ride between the 2, & no real difference in engine performance, & that may be due to the weight difference between the 2. The LS comes in FWD only, & the LT model we test drove had AWD ( a little heavier ) & a few other standard features, But there was a $5,000.oo difference in price between the 2 models.& looking in at the engine compartment; The LS model is more friendly for the DIY people when it comes to basic preventive maintenance; So IMHO the LS model is more bang for the buck when it comes to the budget minded person. Thank you for the review on RS model, & the video.
Congrats on your new Trailblazer!
@@CarConfections Thanks!
Putting a deposit down today same exact model
Great
I'm so close to getting a 2023 because I don't currently have a car. But now I'm thinking about waiting for this gem. 😭😍🤣 But the not knowing when it's coming out is what's scary. And how much money I'd have to wait for it.
You'll be enjoying low qualityness that's for sure , save your money for a mazda , better quality and reliability by far lol
@@cormaro13 I've had a Mazda never again. I also went to a Mazda dealership for my second Mazda. And the dealership sold me a non working 2022 Mazda. I had to legally battle them, I won. But based on these experiences I just can't do a Mazda ever again.
@@franciscastro3920 wow that sounds like bad luck and lack of common sense , did u not test drive the car or did they do a bait and switch cause obviously u drove the car before buying it and took note of the Vin, yes there is cases of a lemon just like there is for every brand but the track record from Mazda to chevy in reliability is ahead , chevy has made 4 different transmission while mazda only worked on 1 lol but do explain more on how they sold u a non working car with the info I mentioned
@@cormaro13 lack of common sense? Lol I obviously did do a test drive. I didn't list everything that happened because I don't have time to explain. It was simply bad luck :) but because of those two experiences with Mazdas I'm just not going to try again.
@@franciscastro3920 ah gotcha , I pick something other than a chevy tho , after owning 5 newish ones of them , the low quality screams lol
When are they coming out?
They should be heading to dealerships imminently
There is no tage for plate
This is why GM will probably declare bankruptcy. Nobody wants a 3 cylinder engine. And they don’t want an electric vehicle. Nice looking suv but the engine will not make it worth while
I'm a big fan of your content -are you guys brothers, I noticed thdt you have the same last name 🤔
Thanks! That is correct, we are brothers 👍
@@CarConfections cool 😎, great review the Trailblazer is on my short list
It's Aggressive!!
Does it come in AWD?
Yes, AWD is available
Does it drive? I have not seen a single video of this car actually moving...
Chevy has not provided one for the media to drive yet, but it should be basically identical to the current model on the road 👍
Can you speak to the fact gm is removing acp and aa from its products starting in 2024....
From what I have heard it is only their electric cars that are not offering apple car play and android auto, why they are doing that I don't know, seems shortsighted
It's only the EV products they are planning to remove access from, so it wouldn't impact this Trailblazer. But it's still not a good idea if you ask us ...
SWARD NA SWARD! OBVIOUS!
Hey You Just Say That Car Is A Trailblazer Similar Like The Trax For 2024.
WAY nicer than the trax and completely different class altogether.
From a side view it looks like a Volvo xc40
From what I can see this model is the most masculine in the segment for sure if that's even possible. 🙃
❤CHEVROLET❤
Car show
What’s the difference between this and new trax?
Both low quality junk , thats what the same is 😂
Chevy dealer says $34,470.00 for the blue one. SMH. NOPE
Needs to be at least a 4 cylinder! 3 doesn't get it!!!
Trax is more excellent than celltos
Trax is very good car
😂😂 only the poor and stupid would say that
The RS rides so stiff, we hate it. We should have went with the LT
Waiting to see how claustrophobic this thing is🙃
Does anyone have any opinion on the hard plastic on the dash and near the window? Does it end up looking like shit?
I wouldnt touch a Chevy with a 10 foot pole. You look at it and the price declines by thousands, for good reason.
Which universe you commenting from again?
I wish it towed 2000 lbs
150 hp on the highest sport trim....? good old Gm ... they slap on red stitching , blk out a few bow-ties, slap sport or RS on anything gloss blk a few things out ,, and presto sport..lol no real upgrades like susp, or engine up grade ...smh
The RS pkg has been an appearance pkg for yrs and yrs. Even back in the day the RS was almost all appearance.
@@ahighervibe4086 I don’t recall an rs package in the 2008-09 trailblazer

Loved it til found out it is 3 cylinder!!!! Turn off 😫

3 cylinder engine
This is one of the dumbest engine choices. 1.2 liter or 1.3 liter?

“Small price” - $44k
Where did you hear him say $44k?
@@ivanlowjoneshe didn't say it yet, but the outgoing model has charged up to $44k
@@jonlosito2004 The outgoing model from a decade ago was a totally different vehicle
@@ivanlowjones This is supposed to start at around 20k base
Please QUIT calling a 1.3 Litre engine a "HIGH OUTPUT" engine. That's a bunch of BULL.
I want to like it, but it seems very mid-pack...Seltos is bigger, comes with lots of tech, and a high power turbo option - Corolla Cross Hybrid is the MPG king and will probably drive a lot better than this - Taos probably feels larger inside and has a better powertrain - HRV is probably better in every way, as is the Crosstrek - not sure who exactly would buy this, unless GM moves them with huge discounts.
There are a LOT of Assumptions being made by you...most of which I totally disagree with.
I was interested in the Seltos. It’s a 4 cylinder, a bit bigger too. Oddly enough, you can use it to tow anywhere in the world except North America. It has more hp and torque then the TB, but KIA won’t let you tow. The TB is a 3 cylinder with less hp and torque but you can tow up to 1,000 lbs. ( which is fine for me). Seltos inability to tow knocks it off my list unfortunately.
Nobody wants a Tahoe pig is what you mean.
GM might as well power the thing with a hamster wheel. Even if power is adequate nobody is going to believe it.
Troll ass
I believe it
I just wish Chevy would have avoided the CVT. Looking for a car for my daughter, and that disqualifies this one. Shame too, it's really sharp looking.
Go with the AWD version, they don't have the CVT, they have the 9 speed regular automatic
CVTs are becoming widely used and harder to avoid if that is a concern. Personally I do not see the issue. Unless you floor it they basically function like a regular auto trans from the driver's perspective and help improve mpgs. Many of the contenders in the small car/suv classes are cvt equipped now. This has a 9 speed if you get AWD.
Don’t worry; there are much better offerings in this class for the money. Look at the Honda HRV, Toyota Corolla Cross (which you can get as a hybrid), Kia Seltos (which you can get with a performance turbo engine) and the all new Hyundai Kona (available as a hybrid or performance turbo as well). All better vehicles than this Chevy Trailblazer.
@Brian Lee Nissan’s CVT is absolutely horrid. Do you hear me?!
Go with a mazda , chevy is complete trash lol
I'm more impressed by the 2024 Kia Seltos! 40 more horsepower and torque, and bigger/roomier.
Kia great cars , my 2021 Kia Sportage just got stolen today. They can’t fix the theft problem, no more Kia for me
😂😂 you're going to have fun with the service bay
Design 🤢
That ugly blue, the designers have no taste on colors
Chevy = unreliability
So boring looking! All these SUVs and crossovers look the same.
Because just about everyone is copying GM.
Nice car and all, but not interested in a Chinese brand, like GM. After what they did to Michigan and the US back in 2008, it revealed everything about them that everyone needed to know. Took the bailout money and instead of keeping their plants in the US open and employing the US worker...they took all of it and invested in their Chinese factories and workers. They could care less about the American worker and market and only care about their Chinese sales. Far as I'm concerned, GM is a Chinese brand inside and out. Thanks, but no thanks!
Ford isn't much better than GM. Most of Ford's car manufacturing factories are in Mexico, hiring Mexicans not Americans. Ford Maverick is made in Mexico.
@@braetonwilson4296 yup, they make that Mach-E EV there while trying to sell the “all-American” image. It’s shameful to say the least
Totally agree. Example: No next gen Cadillac XT5 for the US; however, China gets it and it’s gorgeous!
Not a Chinese brand idiot… They are made in Korea
Chevy Trailblazer.. more like Chevy Failblazer cuz it isn't a body on frame like it was in the 2000s, And that's awfully a lot of tech in a Chevy crossover. (Edit:) and $44k is awfully a lot of money for such a small crossover from Chevy, and I bet that little 3 cylinder won't last about 60k miles unlike my Mom's Subaru Forester. I rather go Honda HRV or Mazda CX 50 over this.
Not everybody needs a body on frame suv, they are available if you want one and no Trailblazer is 44000 dollars, even in Canada where cars are over priced compared to the US you can't get it over 37 thousand
@@alanb3213 Canadian cars are actually cheaper than American dollars. It's just that Canadian dollars are weaker than American dollars. That's why the dollar amount in Canada is more but if you convert the Canadian price to American price, you'll see it's cheaper.
Where did you hear 44k? This car starts at like 20k. Fully loaded is 30k or less.
WHAT A WEIRD ASS TROLL
