heh this is like going back in time with the personal driver interviews to the 90s' when video cameras and local chanels where still prevelent and a majority of people had cable or satillight by then to catch local action that national net works usually didn't care to catch, salem is a ledgendary track, and one of the fastest and most dangerous and has seen its share of big time drivers race it over the years, and its a pretty old raceway ben around a long time, a absolut ledgend in auto sports just like its higher banked sister winchester, its very old and fast like a super speedway but has that local track feel still, and production is still a bit simple but does the job might not be flo or espn, or gforce at oshweeken but it gets the job done, and you announcer seems to really love his job and take it seriously and does it well read hes also one of the guys running opperations at circle city in indy so he also hangs around dirt racing and stays buissy

@@TheSalemSpeedway thanks, would be tradgety if we ever lost it, I mean its one of the few bigger tracks in indiana in a world of bullrings, some very legendary and I know we got the first super speedway in the world at indy but we dont have many half mile tracks in indiana or larger its not like the many ones in new england and the east coast, its just irp winchester salem and terre haute, we used to have other tracks that started life as half miles but were shrank over the years, and even at salem you got the smaller oval, but loosing one of the highest banked tracks in the usa would be a blow to speed junkies and history everywhere, and I do appreciate the reach out response. after all there are only a handful that have 33 degree or greater banking, bull gap, talledega, bristol, winchester and maybe bellvill high banks, I think my list might be wrong and there might be more or less or some might not be banked as high but its not common to have that high degree of banking where most are semi banked or under 20
