2015 Drones Tour Oakland, CA: confetti dropped at end of concert were In the shape of the human cutouts on the album cover! Insane attention to detail and I kept one for souvenir.
I've been a big fan of muse since 2009. I stopped listening after a while, just sort of forgot about them. I was looking around UA-cam and saw the trailer for the new batman game and then it hit me. "Is that?...that is! It is Muse!" I then was happily reunited with a really awesome band. Thank you batman.
+Carrion Keaton I'm just curious, do you like muse songs that where popular at 2009, like Undisclosed Desires, or do you also love their heavy stuff? Because I love both :D
Carrion Keaton Ah ok that's good. Because I talked to a Muse "fan" and asked about Stockholm Syndrome and Take a Bow. This person is only listening to "The Resistance" though.
If only people listened-REALLY listened-to the lyrics. He gives such a blunt, honest & literal testimony about how wicked the music industry that he’s trapped in is. The desperation in his voice makes it even more tragic. I feel like he did the wrong thing for the right reasons, never expecting it to consume him as it did.
It's almost exactly what i've been thinking!!! You just have to listen to the lyrics, that's all! It's like this song is his cry for help! "I tried to infiltrate", tried to change the game but failed! You just have to listen to the lyrics, but most comments i've read praise his voice, the music, arrangement, whatnot...well, it was like that i just hope ppl start to pay attention to the actual words more. At least with MK Ultra it's a different story, ppl there are at least aware about the subject. Thanks for your comment!
They played this song last week in Sydney. It was beautiful and amazing, with the big balls + explosion gimmicks during the song. Hope to watch them again in the future
Heard this song on the radio 8 months ago. It took my breath it was so magnificent. Didnt know who performed it, so I searched UA-cam for Mercy. It took a while but i finally found Muse. Began listening to song after song, loved every one. My husband became fascinated also. Now we are Musers for life!
this song is the story of my life before i was touched by Jesus Christ, but i still hear this song every day so i don't go back to those dark times, Thanks for this legendary song
Wesley Shark those albums including Drones are so on point that you can play them all in order without skipping any tracks....Such diverse sounds. This is why they're so good
This is still amongst my favorite songs out there, and especially was at the time when it was released. My life was at an emotional turning point at the same time this album came out, and interestingly enough I felt like the progression of the album was describing my life's journey. It really resonated within me. The original lyric video for this song left me in awe, it left me feeling like no other music/video had made me feel before. I really wish that @muse would make it public or at least unlisted again so that I can rewatch it and relive those feelings again.
I found Muse through Guitar Hero III many many years ago but became an "actual fan." I found this song when it came out because I'm always trying to hear new songs when they come out lol.
Elina Holland Well it should be very soon at this point. They've started doing that location finding activity that they did before the Drones release, and there's a location in Paris which is apparently a video. So it can't be long now.
This band definitely seems like they have a muse. Their instrumental abilities, intelligence, awareness of the evils of the world, and passion is out of this world
Have to say there's something magnetic about this band for a person is basically classic rock. The bassist is one of the most creative I've ever heard.
The message in this song! Is it too late? Is your clone now in your place? Such talent! Forgive us. We didn't know how to help or deliver you. I hope Solomon Kane is a true model.
I'm turning 27 in a few months and I discovered Muse when I was around 10 years old. How? It all started when I kept playing every single afternoon with F1 05 for PS2, destroying the ears of my parents and telling them how hard I dreamt to drive for Ferrari one day. The trailer of the videogame was a sick racing montage with Butterflies & Hurricanes as soundtrack. I'm Italian, I was young and I didn't really understood the lyrics so I googled them: immediately felt in love with the song and the band. Fast forward to the 20th of May of this year: a friend of mine from Florence told me about the possibility to send the application to join the Scuderia as a truck driver (basically my job, even If currently I'm a bus driver, I've been a truck driver all around Europe for the last years). I never believed in coincidences but I gotta admit, so far they have been unsettling: the same year "Drones" was released I lost my mother due to cancer so I abandoned the high school and never finished it. Despite this, I always managed to work in my life and the absence of a high school degree never precluded me any job possibilities until these weeks. The Scuderia Ferrari's HR I already had 2 interviews with, told me the absence of a high school degree could be a problem for the high ranks in the team. Well, exactly 9 years after "Drones" was released (5th June 2015 so yesterday was the anniversary) I received the call: even If I never managed to get the diploma, Ferrari is officially considering my application to become the newest truck driver of the F1 team and has scheduled the final job interview on the 17th of June. It might sound needless to say but as soon as I hanged up the call (while crying for joy, of course), I accidentally touched my earphones and Spotify automatically started the shuffle playing Mercy: a song I always read like the story of someone who finally sees the end of his struggles and begins to be positive about his life. Nothing is already 100% sure about the job yet but for the VERY first time in my life, I'm believing in my experiences and my skills, telling non-stop to myself that I can really fucking make it for once in my life. I really hope and believe to come back in few weeks below this video to say the dream to drive for Ferrari finally came true and I destroyed the ears of my mother for a good reason when I was a kid, even If It's not going to be a F1 car. Thanks Muse for the hope I feel, whatever happens.
Long story short: on the 2nd of July I went to Maranello for the in-person interview. I got the call two days ago where they told me the job is mine and now I'm just waiting for them to get back at me with the contract proposal. I still can't believe it.
Let me say, many songs of Muse are overrated, Psycho for example, in my opinion I don´t like it, Muse is a great band, but we must be serious and say They´re not as great than the three first albums. As I say it´s only my opinion like a Muse fan.
I think the "these are underated" and "this deserves way more views and likes" comment on any UA-cam video is generic and boring. Muse are highly rated, by fans and critics alike.
My time was the 80's, but I'm always looking for new music to listen to, from any continent, and I came across Muse. Sadly I've never heard of them before 😲 but his voice is so sexy!! He has a voice that few singers have. Reminds me alittle of U2., but he still has his own sound. Just really sexy, thats it!! Handsome and an awesome presence on stage. Great drummer, the whole band is really good. Glad I found it.

"Mercy"
Help me

I tried to change the game
I tried to infiltrate
But now I'm losing men in cloaks
Always seem to run the show
Save me from the ghosts and shadows
Before they eat my soul
Mercy, mercy

Can someone rescue me
Absent gods and silent tyranny
We're going under hypnotised
By another puppeteer
And tell me why the men in cloaks
Always have to bring me down
Running from the ghosts and shadows
The world just disavows
Mercy, mercy
Show me mercy
From the powers that be
Show me mercy
Can someone rescue me
Show me mercy
Show me mercy please

I've been a big fan of muse since 2009. I stopped listening after a while, just sort of forgot about them. I was looking around UA-cam and saw the trailer for the new batman game and then it hit me. "Is that?...that is! It is Muse!" I then was happily reunited with a really awesome band. Thank you batman.
+Carrion Keaton I'm just curious, do you like muse songs that where popular at 2009, like Undisclosed Desires, or do you also love their heavy stuff? Because I love both :D
I'm a fan of both their lighter and heavier music. I was introduced through their lighter stuff. I'm no stranger to heavy stuff though.
Carrion Keaton Ah ok that's good. Because I talked to a Muse "fan" and asked about Stockholm Syndrome and Take a Bow. This person is only listening to "The Resistance" though.
I got reunited by Graham Norton ((((:
+tinglesrosyrupeeland Uber cool guy!
This song took me the longest to like, but now it's on repeat! Matt Bellamy has gotta be the best vocalist in the universe.
In my opinion this song is one of the best songs off of Drones
If only people listened-REALLY listened-to the lyrics. He gives such a blunt, honest & literal testimony about how wicked the music industry that he’s trapped in is. The desperation in his voice makes it even more tragic. I feel like he did the wrong thing for the right reasons, never expecting it to consume him as it did.
Hmmm
I dont think its about matt, the song makes more sense in the concept of drones album
Drones album is a story. It took me several listens to get it. Now it's one of my favorites. Nothing to do with the industry
Congratulation for the best rock album at grammy!!!! Well done, bellamy!
I can't get why both this song and videoclip have been so overlooked throughout time. 'Mercy' is simply magnificent.
They played this song last week in Sydney. It was beautiful and amazing, with the big balls + explosion gimmicks during the song. Hope to watch them again in the future
Batman Arkham Knight always brings me back
...why?

Merci !
Noctem12 De rien !
Noctem12 Pas de quoi !
Noctem12 Bitte schön!
Noctem12 You're welcome!
Noctem12 de nada :3
Heard this song on the radio 8 months ago. It took my breath it was so magnificent. Didnt know who performed it, so I searched UA-cam for Mercy. It took a while but i finally found Muse. Began listening to song after song, loved every one. My husband became fascinated also. Now we are Musers for life!
Still EPIC !
Muse released this song 9 years ago today 5-18-24. Matt singing MERCY…MERCY just pulls my heart right out of my chest every time i hear it! 😮
this song didn't make sense until lately. I understand this 100 percent.
this song is the story of my life before i was touched by Jesus Christ, but i still hear this song every day so i don't go back to those dark times,
Thanks for this legendary song
Missing the Batman Arkham games so I came back to listen to this.
Rocky Reuben or get a sequel to Origins. Use some villains we haven't seen yet. No Riddler puzzles. Make him an actual villain.
Got here because Muse's UA-cam Playlist. Oh my God, I miss them so much. Wish there will be their concert in Jakarta again.
soo muchhh
Zsaskia Shabrina same heree
agak pesimis tp ya semoga aja kesampean
aamiin semoga aja :)
semoga dalam tour album tahun ini/2019
This might be my favorite song on the new album.
#MuseDrones #Muse
This then Handler.....tracks 4then5then6 for me
Mercy... Reapers... The Handler... Revolt... Gahhhhhhh
Wesley Shark 4,6,5,9 ...pretty similar
🙌
Revolt is on point for sure 👌👍
This feels like what should have been the natural followup to Blackholes and Revelations. Flows nicely out of that and Absolution.
Wesley Shark those albums including Drones are so on point that you can play them all in order without skipping any tracks....Such diverse sounds. This is why they're so good
Starlight and Mercy are siblings. I love both.
His vocal range is actually incredible! For anyone wondering how it's because some people are born with an exceptionally small larynx (voicebox)
Love that piano intro.
Muse has gotta be the best band i have ever listened to,
Thanks guys when i hear a muse song i really cheer up
This is still amongst my favorite songs out there, and especially was at the time when it was released.
This reminds me of The Island
And that's a good thing
coconutcore OMG Yes. I remember that awesome movie c:
coconutcore Yea, I got that too
Totally! And that reminds me of Scarlett... and yep, I love the feeling.
coconutcore totally thought the same thing right away!
***** No!. Aldous Huxley, awesome writer.
I found on my own this song because I like Muse
Impressive. Good work.
Is it because of the phandom? You do realize a lot of us actually like Muse because it's an amazing band and just not because Dan and Phil like them?
Well done
James Dean I came because of dan and Phil but at the end I became a fan
I found Muse through Guitar Hero III many many years ago but became an "actual fan."
I found this song when it came out because I'm always trying to hear new songs when they come out lol.
This song takes me back to 2015. This song belongs to the batman 🔥
This is the kind of song that truly saves people, thank you Muse!! . !!
Go getem Bobby.

Goddamn, when is this Revolt video going to drop? Anyone else waiting for it?
Me!
+John Doge
Unrelated but... your profile pic... Much doge
+John Doge still waiting..................
Elina Holland
Well it should be very soon at this point. They've started doing that location finding activity that they did before the Drones release, and there's a location in Paris which is apparently a video. So it can't be long now.
John Doge well the lever thing they did was something signed wasn't it, or did i get something wrong? well as you said it shouldn't be too long anyway
This band is the reason to live !
Just saw the Simulation World Tour in Houston. Fking amazing!
This band definitely seems like they have a muse. Their instrumental abilities, intelligence, awareness of the evils of the world, and passion is out of this world
This is one of the most astonishing videos I've seen in years!
I know right? The plot is amazing, and gives me dystopian feels.
Maya C That's the intention in about 1 out of 3 Muse videoclips lol
1:00 best part
Six years after the album and it still rocks tf out of me
Mercy was the first song I heard from these guys years ago. I thought ''hello what is this?'' I'm a fan now.
Just incredible, vocals are perfection as with everything Muse create. Love it.XX
they are my favorite band amazing song
Easily my favourite song from Drones. It was a fantastic album, but to me, this is beautiful.
Have to say there's something magnetic about this band for a person is basically classic rock. The bassist is one of the most creative I've ever heard.
what beautiful melodies
It's one of my top ten Muse's song.
Off curse
MUSE THE GOD OF MUSIC
"Legends live on. Only man comes to an end“
Commissioner Finger Ehrmantraut in 2015
The message in this song! Is it too late? Is your clone now in your place? Such talent! Forgive us. We didn't know how to help or deliver you. I hope Solomon Kane is a true model.
Wow, after listening like a whole day to Plug In Baby, this sounds a lot more modern.
I'm right there with you
sound more like Starlight mix with Plug in Baby
This is such a great song! The writing, the instrumentation and the execution are all perfect and it gives me all the feels.
Who else thinks muse is underrated?
Are you there with the defenders ?
Let me say, many songs of Muse are overrated, Psycho for example, in my opinion I don´t like it, Muse is a great band, but we must be serious and say They´re not as great than the three first albums. As I say it´s only my opinion like a Muse fan.
So a song is overrated if you don't like it? I personally like it very much and do not think it's overrated?
I think the "these are underated" and "this deserves way more views and likes" comment on any UA-cam video is generic and boring.
Muse are highly rated, by fans and critics alike.
If that's your real name. Super HOT! =P
Praise the sun for this song :)
Mercy live was an experience
This could fit right on to Absolution / Black Holes era Muse. Stunning track, incredibly written and performed 👌
i hope muse never breaks up theyre fantastic
Thats a killer guitar tone
Mercy Beaucoup !
I love MUSE, nothing and nobody will change that!
X2
My time was the 80's, but I'm always looking for new music to listen to, from any continent, and I came across Muse. Sadly I've never heard of them before 😲 but his voice is so sexy!! He has a voice that few singers have. Reminds me alittle of U2., but he still has his own sound. Just really sexy, thats it!! Handsome and an awesome presence on stage. Great drummer, the whole band is really good. Glad I found it.
I am stuck in the 90's for music, but Muse is one of the few current bands I listen to - a great unique sound
"You are stronger than you think"
Holy shit has it been 9 years since this song debuted? Dang! She still smashes!
You are stronger than you think
Look right. You are greater in numbers.
So this is how it happened, this is how the Bat-man died
I read that in Morgan Freeman's voice.
Same bro same (Morgan freeman) is the best
***** should of read it in Mikes from breaking bad he voices Gordon in it
Nicholas Luneke Yes.. before Azrael arrived
UnBR0k3enAngel lol i wanted to write this shit too ahahaha
My fav. Band. You're amazing😍
All is mercy. Sve je milosrdje. All is grace. Sve je milost.
Remember searching up this band thanks to batman Arkham in 2015, been a fan ever since.
Help me, I've fallen on the inside
I tried to change the game
I tried to infiltrate, but now I'm losing
Men in cloaks always seem to run the show
Save me from the
Ghosts and shadows before they eat my soul
Mercy
Mercy
Show me mercy, from the powers that be
Show me mercy, can someone rescue me?
Absent gods and silent tyranny
We're going under, hypnotized by another puppeteer
And tell me why the men in cloaks always have
To bring me down
Running from the
Ghosts and shadows the world just disavows
Mercy
Mercy
Show me mercy, from the powers that be
Show me mercy, can someone rescue me?
Show me mercy
Show me mercy, please
Help me, I've fallen on the inside
And all the men in cloaks trying to devour my soul
Show me mercy from the powers that be
Show me mercy from the gutless and mean
Show me mercy from the killing machines
Show me mercy, can someone rescue me?
I Have not see so much perfection after getting obsessed with sweater Weather and The Kooks!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😚
omg why is every Muse music video a Hollywood level cinematic masterpiece?!
I love Muse
Starlight meets bliss = mercy
