I was on a 3 day hike through the Moselle last weekend. I had the same rice. I fried some chorizo slowly to get the fat out, added the rice and some water, and some chilli powder. The rice is heavy, but it soaks up oil etc, so by the time you eat it , it really does the job.and the calories /weight ratio is much better and more balanced. Probably the same nutritional principle as with the Cassoulet you guys ate last week. I love watching your videos
