While I think the magic rock of phone signal may have been sarcastic, you're actually spot on. Because the wavelength is so short, defraction is negligible so signal is down to reflections from the tower.

Thanks for the vids, watching them in my tent, very nice. Since you are lightweighters can I suggest for next time upping the amount of nuts,seeds,driedfruits and less of the cookies&cake? Better calories/weight ratio and it might make you feel better as well. Hiked GR54 last year, so it was nice seeing your experience on this tour.
Turquoise lakes are common when fed by glacial melt from all the fine grit coming from the rocks being ground up by the glacier. Usually not great sign - most people have a bad, uh, gastric reaction to the fine grit.
"Regurgitated baby sick" raises a question. Who ate it in the first place? Baby sick is regurgitated already, so to be regurgitated baby sick someone else ate it first. These are the mysteries of TFW cannon.
