Awesome. It blows my mind how many things make up a photo like, patterns, lines, light source, depth, position in relation to both face, shoulder level, hip level, wrist, focal point, rule of thirds, symmetry, perspective as far as the difference of a 50mm at 10 ft vs being 20 ft away and zooming in to the subject, One thing I hope to understand how to get several subjects at different level from me all in focus.

At 7:52 you claim the only difference is the pose. I think you're not quite correct. I think the photo is brighter not just because of the pose but due to more water has come into the frame increasing fill.

I believe that particular moment I was just explaining the difference between that image and the one just before (not the final image) The real discussion of water changing the exposure is later, as more water pushes in and acts like a natural fill, requiring us to change the exposure which is discussed later in the video.
