I don't think it's too far fetched for Bruce to think she didn't care at that time. It's harsh, but he only knew her as a street criminal who was no stranger to death. Disregarding that, he also knew she was very goal focused, she was always on her way to get done what needs to be done. Not much time to dwell. He himself didn't have a strong concept of death either, whether it can be a good thing and/or bad.
are you kidding? The whole idea of Batman is he is formed when his parents are dead, killed in front of him in that small alley, leaving him as a young orphan. And you claim he will have "no strong concept of death"?
I remember a scene where Alfred slapped you in the face. I think it was Season 2. Anyways, I was like dayum Alfred you woman beater!!! Never seen Alfred do that. That reaction you did after he did that, was just 100% flawless. Cause I'd be like that.

Can we just get Batman and catwoman. I don't mind the younger version, this is becoming a bad tease like smallville. Stop putting filler into these episode, from preventing them from having their costume. Maybe Gotham just don't have the licences for the catwoman & batman, and in that case focus more of the Gordon story and less on batman's FUTURE villain.
If you like bad taste of smallville ending, then go for it. I fell that in order to keep the legend good. It has to end on a high note, and wanting people to have more. Like how the dark knight ended, people still wanted more batman. If your gonna do an origin story, stay true to the mythology (new 52 origin suk, it was created after bob kane died).
