I set an outlook reminder every week (Sunday) to check my plants with a water meter. I always bottom water my plants -unless I repot the plant. For its first watering in that pot, it gets top watered for the soil to adjust and then bottom watered afterwards.
👏👏👏❤️❤️🌈👍🌈. Thanks so much. Overwatering is so common. Just located a soil moisture meter as you suggested. This will really help. Enjoying your videos👍👍
Newly subscribed. Very informative. Do you have a preferred brand of moisture meter? Also, what moisture setting do you recommend for a money tree (12 ft tall!)? Thank you!
thegirlwithashovel.lpages.co/favorite-products/ This link has one of the moisture meters I've used in the past and was happy with. (With two kids, I've had a few break, lol!) I currently have one with the soil and light and pH meter, but I honestly don't use the other settings and I feel the single sensor is sturdier. For settings, you should water thoroughly (in the wet range) and then let it get into that dry range (like at the 3) before watering it again. This will help it have that wet/dry cycle it prefers :)
Hey everyone! Let me know... what's YOUR preferred way to water? Top or bottom water?! 💦
Great video!

Keep it up! Sounds like it's working!
