Spotted you at half time but had my kids with so couldn’t come and say hi and thanks for this channel. We live down in Hampshire so don’t get to many games, so your channel is a godsend. Was my 5 yr old’s first Notts match and 7 yr old’s third. Pretty sure there were 3000 Notts fans at MK last season, one of the first back in the league… it was 32C, an absolute sweat box! Spot on analysis - 1st half we absolutely dominated down the left hand side, but frustrating that we were trying to walk it in. MK didn’t offer much at all. Bass kept us in the game for their 10 minute spell mid-2nd half, the save to his left was sublime. Work rate across the pitch was 10/10. Although I’d knock .5 rating off for Jatta for that miss to make it 3-0. Was put on a plate and he knew it!
Great vlog again guys. Solid, solid performance against a side fancied to challenge Notts for a promotion place. That should keep 90% of the fans happy. 😎🇬🇷
Here’s an interesting stat that I just worked out. With only 2 teams to play in the lower half of the table (one of which could be in top half after Sunday) as it stands Notts have: - gained equally 17 points at home and away - gained 17 points against top half and lower half teams. For the return fixtures in the second half of the season. Notts have to play: - 7 matches at home and 4 away of the top half sides. - 5 matches at home and 5 away (2 teams both fixtures still) against the lower half teams. So in my opinion based on that players will return eg JJ, statistically we are more likely to win at home and that we are starting to beat the higher placed opposition more often, we really could do this this season.
@@nottscountytalk Edit/additional: As it stands JJ has been out for 14 league games (66% of matches). At that point we were going 2 points per game exactly, even after our 1st loss of the season against Gillingham. Completely forgot that we were without Edwards after Accrington - game 5. Been without him for 75%+ of the season. To be honest, Notts have done pretty well to have the ppg they currently have- 1.62. Of course, could be better. Would get us 75 points and likely a playoff spot. Yet being without many impacting players for most of the season, having them back and possibly making further squad improvements could be the difference. We’re currently only averaging 1 goal concession a game, even after our recent blip of conceding a few too many. Our goals scored per game is increasing slightly at 1.43….but add this because our goals scored to goal conceded was exactly 2:1 after the Gills game also. For me 5 points or more in the next 3 matches (1.67ppg) against Cheltenham (a), Walsall (h) and Swindon (h) really will see a successful festive period and put us in a great position for the above to happen for us this season. Although a smallish sample size, with a full squad SM has shown he can get us in order with: - promotion winning ppg average - sustainable and favourable goals scored to conceded ratios - tactically set the team up to dominate almost all opposition, generally, so that match outcomes are in our hands. Let’s all back the club, the players and our head coach! Us as the 12th man could really make a huge difference! COYP (again) ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️
Ratings are a bit excessive but understandable due to emotions. Subscribed here for a few years but you would get more subscribers if you pointed your camera towards the pitch more often whilst talking!! Thanks for your efforts.
Wasn’t an odd bad day, we hadn’t won in nearly two months now we look brilliant. I’m not complaining about it, I’m delighted. And I know the reason why, more intensity and Crowley playing further up the pitch. I’m just saying it’s mad that we was so poor and now look brilliant
@ Crowley hadn’t been playing since then as he got injured in the Barrow game and that added to the many others we’ve had missing aswell. Notts had been treading water and putting in some ok performances to pick up some points and should have picked up more based upon those also. However, the performance at Salford wasn’t good enough as we were beaten in all aspects such as intensity, desire, quality and particularly decision making on the day.
Really pleased for Stuart Maynard COYP
Agreed!!
I'm gonna say it,Stuart maynards black and white army 😂😂😂
Yessss

Thank you so much for supporting the channel! Let's hope we can keep it up over the next few games 🤞

There's a big opportunity for Notts this season if we can now start getting consistent!

It's a merry, merry chundered! Luvvin it!
What a win!
Three points from 2nd place
It's getting very tight at the top now (apart from Walsall 😂)
Big 3 points today. Hopefully putting a good run together now 🤞 for another win on Sunday. Walsall will be the next big test though!
Huge next couple of games for us 💪
Sam Austin was a wing back for Kiddy before coming to Notts and still probably his best position
He's getting better and better in that position!
What a great win
Indeed 😃
Hi love ur vids been subbed since 2023
Thanks so much for the support 🤝
I’ll hold my hands up and say I have been very critical of Maynard but I can’t complain at all today… COYP
Btw it’ll always make me crease that 90% of Notts fans sit down away 😂
He got it spot on today, didn't he!

Thanks for supporting the channel, mate! Filming match action can cause big problems later down the line with copyright unfortunately 😕
You piiiieees 🥧
What a win 😎
Get in!
Jodi/Nemane last time
How is that pretty much the same side that went to Salford and played so poorly 🤯
The pitch didn't help
Listen at the end of the match….decision making of the players, based upon the context of the match.
Everyone has the odd bad day at the office.
