Seems they've fixed the wobble and the case/cable issue. The one i have has right angle cables and a slot in the case for it to sit in, and the grey piece has been replaced with a black bit that slides over the stand, as opposed to under it. It tightens with a wing nut.

Hey brother I was wondering if after all this time, whether or not adj did in fact fix each one of the issues you spoke about? Its still by far the best review of a very nice product if they did actually upgrade those issues. Thank you very much for bringing us this fantastic review. One love.

I'm looking to replace my Chauvet 4Bar Tri. This light looks nice but a couple of questions before I buy. It looks like the cabling issue for the cans themselves has been addressed. What about the wobble in the neck of the t-bar? Also, can the brightness be adjusted using the remote of footswitch?

I just bought two new Dotz TPar systems ( May 2019 ) and the light bar still wobbles terribly on top of the stand. The wing nut does nothing to take out the wobble. I contacted ADJ and sent them photos, thinking that it couldn't be what they intended and their response was " oh, it's supposed to do that ". It does not feel safe to raising it up 10 feet in the air with the heavy light bar swaying back and forth over your head. Not impressed ! I realize it is metal sliding over metal and they don't want it to bind, but it could have been constructed with a much closer tolerance to take out the majority if the wobble.

I'm a mobile DJ and I'm wanting to buy this setup but I was wondering if there Is way to control the brightness of these lights without using DMX? Isn't that pretty important? I'm new to lighting. Thanks

I've bought it yesterday but I've got totally different RF remote! Mine one has only 8 buttons but original should has 12? I cant work with that because its "+" and "-" buttons dont work and are totally useless in my case!

I purchased 4 systems. All of the stands broke within the 2 month of using them. I actually took a chunk of skin off my finger adjusting one. The zippers on the carry cases all broke, & the remote works only when it wants to. The silver male piece that is used to place in their tripod, only fits their cheap steel & plastic tripod. Has anyone had any luck retro fitting the unit to a conventional lighting stand?
