I have been shopping for a car for around 3 months now. I hunted down for a car that was reliable, safe and a great deal, but couldn't seem to grab my hands on one that best suited me from a private seller. The market is definitely not a buyers market, but buying a car now is a NEED for me. Hamdellah, I was able to buy one from a local dealership and I am very happy with my purchase.

May Allah bless you sis. I hope no one takes this the wrong way as I am just trying to enjoin the good, which we have been ordered to do as Muslims. Also I am writing this message publicly because the video is public, so that those watching who may not know about this will see it. As Muslims interest is forbidden. There are ayat in the Quran and hadiths that talk about the prohibition of interest and the punishment that comes with it. Even though we live in the west, we should still try our best to avoid interest. For example, let’s say a person lives in a place where having a car is necessary/safer, if you have the money to buy a car outright or borrow the money from someone without interest then that’s what you should do. It may not be the latest and greatest, but as long as the vehicle is safe and drivable, then I think avoiding the wrath Allah is better than having a fairly new car. Interest may be normalized in this society, but as Muslims we don’t have to settle for that. Imagine if all of the Muslims in the west stayed away from interest and refused to purchase certain things because of it, at some point different industries would find someway to cater to us, not because they care about our faith per se, but they are going to care about the money not being made for not catering to Muslims. Renting a home, car, or taking longer to go to school because of saving, etc without interest is better than buying one with interest. Imagine the reward you get from Allah for trying your best to obey Him and giving up certain pleasures in this life for His pleasure and a reward in the next? I’m commenting because it seems that dealing in interest has become so normalized amongst Muslims in the west with many claiming that it is a “necessity”. Even signing up for almost any credit card falls under the ruling as to sign up, you agree to pay interest if you don’t pay on time, even if your intention is to pay before the deadline. I encourage us all to learn more about our religion and understand the legislation of Allah. May Allah make it easy for the Muslims everywhere.

I agree too she shouldn’t have taking the risk to have interest rate. It not because it American you have to accept it. My dad is a car dealer and he doesn’t do interest stuff hamidallah. Just a word of advice for whoever reads this. Before buying a car, make sure to read some online forums for the car you're looking at. Usually forums are really insightful on what to expect with the car, what people like and dislike, and cool hidden features or upgrades. Just thought I write this because this dealer in the video said this accord is really quiet and that really isn't the case being that the car has 19 inch wheels so road noise CAN get annoying.
You're right about the forum but it's just better to listen to experts instead of forums. She chose a safe company in terms of reliability and maintenance costs.

I sell cars and I can say Honda is a great purchase! Not really only are they reliable but they hold their value as well. If you are shopping Honda’s definitely take a look at Toyota & Subaru.

Congrats! 🎉 great choice no doubt! Reliable, premium, not the newest, so it cost way less than new. Yet, it’s the same body style as the 2022 model. The wheels are absolute stunners. Also, great plan to pay it off ASAP.

I used to have a Honda Civic 2013 and it was excellent condition. I bought it in January 2021 and I needed a vehicle because my mom sold her car, so I had to buy my own vehicle.
First, I bought a used car because of my budget, 70k KM so not bad for a first time driver. And in September 2021, I sold my civic and buy a RAV4 limited due to some health problem.
0.99% APR is amazing. I didn't know you could get it below 1.9%. Congrats on your Honda!

IMO you never buy pre owned cars…for me Ive owned 2 new cars a 2015 sonata sport paid it off in 6 years and gave it to my younger sister now I just purchased a 2022 sonata SEL and both new your paying more but are certified to not have problems for at least 10 years

The Salesman was lying about certifications. They didn’t certify the car because the can sell it as with current warranty. Used car prices are crazy now. I bought and 2020 Nissan Maxima Platinum in 2021(March) with 6 K miles certified by Nissan and came out the door for 31K. The original sticker was 45K

Ok first things first congrats. Second I work for Honda and I have never heard of 0.99 on a used vehicle. Super crazy. People with good credit for a new car is 1.9 2.9. A lease is the lowest of 0.0009 that is the best I have seen.
Can't go wrong with a Honda Accord. High quality vehicle (getting very close to the Euro cars in terms of luxury features) and it's ultra reliable which European cars aren't. Congrats :)

MashaAllah mabrook. You can't go wrong with Honda Accord and like you said getting certified owned is the best way to go for used cars as you get warranty and peace of mind from dealerships. I am thinking of buying one in a year or two once the pricing go down a bit.

Congrats you can not go wrong with a Honda. I truly believe they are the best car makers ever! I love my Honda Civic I financed it in 2013, it took me a longer time to pay it off bc I didn't get such a low interest rate. But that's so great that u were able to lock that in. I would have suggested a hybrid or electric model though, but still glad u went with a Honda. Be sure to take a road trip with it and make some memories bc they are super safe and reliable.

This is an amazing video and I love and respect everything you’re doing!! And I’m so glad you bought this car because I recently, back in January of 2021 bought the same 2018 Black 1.5L Honda Accord Sport, and it cost me 21k, and just so you know my car right now is worth about 28k with 36k miles on it. My point is, is that these cars are very very overvalued because of the used car market being so high due to a chip shortage, so I was shocked how much they overcharged you for this car, and it will most likely be worth half its price when it comes to sell;however, I know you plan on renting it out on TURO, which is what I plan on doing to so you’ll make this car worth it for sure. And yah, just wanted to let you know how overpriced this car was, but it’s an amazing car that you will really really enjoy.
Completely agree with this, but turo isn't a good way to make money unless you don't give a crap about the car because other people are gonna trash it
