I didn't realize how much I missed your videos and calming, positive voice. I've been burying my head in the sand lately, thinking that was the way to look after my mental health. But seriously, your "What If..." turned out wonderful and of course, you can't forget the Gold!😉 My What if... happened last week when we got 10 inches of snow. IN THE SOUTH! The what if was, what if there was something that could bring a community together, forget about "life" and just act like a kid again? Well, it was a wonderful blessing! Kia Ora my friend , interestingly I have had a what if day myself, I have done small paintings with lots of water ,many colour's, using salt ,glad wrap, stripes with a rubber topped handle ,they are still drying and I have just played, I will add pen work once they are dry, I like you have been troubled about what is happening in the world ,racism, greed , nastiness , all this has got me down, there have been days when I have felt I don't want to live in this dangerous world ,even in my country it is the same ,my art calms me ,my yard is full of flowers ,bees and birds every day ,so I live for today and get joy out of all of that ,all my aroma to you ,I love your art and gentleness and kindness in sharing your journey and art .

I love love love this painting!! The way the warm colors play against the cool colors is stunning! Now I'll share this: I made the decision on November7th that I cannot allow situations and people over whom I have no control determine my state of mind. It's my job to live MY life in ways that lead me peacefully through my days. And I look for meaning in every day and focus on connections with others. I work at choosing my thoughts and using words that are constructive. I'm not Pollyanna by any means, but this approach works for me, so far. And I obviously know that everything could crash down around me at any moment. I believe we're experiencing some kind of awful labor pains right now. After labor there's new life. And I have faith that the new life will be more positive than we've experienced in a long time! Now I'm finished with my novelette so I'm moving on to something else. I send you peace and positivity. So, I'm trying to do a bit of both. Putting the blinders on when I need a break and pulling them off when I feel a need to stand up and ask our reps for support. I don't know if any of it will help in the long run, but I did feel especially encouraged this week when a certain someone had to rescind his ludicrous actions because of push back by "we the people". ☺️ I agree that we are going through a time to great growth, a transformation that is much needed. These growing pains aren't going to be fun, but as long as we don't lose sight of ourselves and our values, we can indeed become better and something positive can be the result. But, there's a very long road ahead so it's important we take good care of ourselves so we don't drown in the downpour. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us 💕 Together we will rise xoxo

I needed your video so bad today. It is just starting. I am watching, but I just want to thank you for always posting and being so positive and informative with ideas and inspiration. If has been a long week. And I am breaking from social media. It has distracted me from my art and so has the news Argh. I know better. My heart can’t deal. Over 16 years ago I had a hemorrhagic stroke. It was 1 week after the birth of my 3rd child. I had 2 bleeds 1 required a craniotomy. So long story short I survived. I do everything with my 1 magical hand (right hand). My left hand is pretty useless. When I am with it I am an amazing artist full of ideas, discoveries, ways to do things which my magic hand that others find hard with 2 hands. Some days, I get so tired and I can’t think to how to take a shower. So today you helped draw me out of of my darkness. Thank you. I am going to spread the light to others. ❤
I had my stroke 6 years ago and was left with one magical hand. It's getting pretty sick of me right now, having to do most things on it's own and tape is tough for both hands😅 Keep pushing warrior💞💞💞
@Tamb1 🫂💕 I hear you! Is it Friday yet? Wow how this week has felt LONG! I have been on a news hiatus since the election results came to us in November. But, I don't want to be completely in the dark so I'm following organizations that are doing good work to protect our rights and I get a lot of emails. It all feels very heavy at times and it's not good for any of us to be constantly bombarded by the angst and negativity. Even though we know it will add to our stress, most of us can't help but look for information because we care. We care about each other and we care about our lives and it makes our curiosity very relatable, normal and understandable. I'm sorry you went through such a difficult ordeal with your health. And I have to say, I got chills all over when you summed it up with "long story short, I survived." ❤️ Your magical right hand and your inspiring will to overcome speak to your resilience and I am so thankful to you for sharing parts of your personal journey with us. 💕 You are a bright beautiful light and you have definitely made this week much brighter for me. ✨ I am also thankful that you pay close attention to how you're feeling and that you allow yourself the space you need, when you need it. I took a full two week vacation from technology and social media at the beginning of this year and it was wonderful. I hope we can continue to make time for self-care and self-compassion during these challenging times. These are ways we can keep our lights shining more bright. Just this past week, I was reading an article on the 10 things to do as we move forward through the unknown. Make the space to grieve and self-care were #1 and #2 on the list. Community was also on the list of ways we can look after ourselves. Because you opened up to all of us today, you strengthened our community. 💕 We need each other and I am so thankful we have this space where we can connect, create and share. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your presence, your courage and your kindness. Our little community is beautiful because people like you are in it. 🤗

Life is a dance. 😉 Sometimes we take two steps forward, sometimes we stand still and other times we take a few steps backwards. Love it. Were the cooler, more opaque colors that you used on top of the warmer transparent colors gauche?
Thank you so much 💕 The cobalt teal is watercolor and this color is definitely more opaque, especially when it is not very diluted. ☺️
I went to bed in distress, and woke up with an exhausted heart and mind. Putting one foot in front of the other is a bit much to ask of me right now. How about not taking any steps backwards? That'll do. 💜
Life is a dance. 😉 Sometimes we take two steps forward, sometimes we stand still and other times we take a few steps backwards.
