I respect this gadget because without eggs easy to cook you've always got to be standing in front of the stove. I've seen other reviews say that a little preheat helps with the first setting because the egg that you cooked first did look a little underdone to my taste
After cooking one egg and doing another soon thereafter accomplishes a preheat. I have done quite a few back-to-back eggs, and frankly, they are a little more done than I prefer. They are really good, but I just like them a bit softer. For me, the internal control is PERFECT, but if you like your eggs more done, go for it with the preheating. We can all make them our own way and enjoy them.. Good luck with your experience .
