The 2021 updated rooms are nice. Love the gigantic shower. Definitely not on Wynn level tho. Bellagio is one of my fav properties but they really need to update and reclaim their status as a truly elite resort. The sports book is awful - they need a major update there.
I agree. While I think the tub is nice, the 2021 bathrooms have a nicer overall look I think. The rooms themselves outside of the bathroom feel almost exactly the same.
@@Milestomemories and I’m cool with that tbh. The tub would never get used by me but the shower size isn’t that important to me either. I do like the idea of being closer to the tram.
Hey boys ! Bellagio and Aria are where I normally stay. I think the Bellagio pool complex is really beautiful. I stayed in the renovated tower room but that still has the tub and separate shower . They did do a good job with the remodel. I get my rooms or suites comped so I agree if I was paying yes it’s a tad pricey . The restaurants are awesome but again nothing on the low end . Glad you had a good stay 😎😎😎
Perhaps you can answer a question I had… I’m staying at Bellagio in February for the first time. I booked the standard room. Im curious if I could ask to be put in the spa tower because it’s close to the tram which I’ll be using a lot… or is the spa tower more expensive because of the tub?
The Spa Tower rooms are technically one category over the normal base rooms but shouldn't be a tough "upgrade". On most nights it's $10 more. I prefer the location of the main tower so normally ask to be there, but I booked specifically in the Spa Tower for this trip. If you're heading South a lot the Spa Tower is definitely the way to go.
Bellagio should be in direct competition with Wynn -they don't charge that much less. The issue is MGM is just cheap. The carpet in those rooms looks cheap and terrible.
I like Bellagio, have stayed there over half a dozen times over the years. Can’t deny that it is overpriced and overrated, the best features of the property don’t require a hotel stay. No matter the renovations, unless they gut rooms to make larger rooms overall, Bellagio cannot match the room sizes and quality at Cosmopolitan, Wynn/Encore and Venetian/Palazzo. Still love visiting Bellagio, but I would rather stay at NoMad or in a suite at Park MGM with better pricing.
I don't think they are overrated, They still don't charge for wifi and don't have much of a resort fee either. There room service is really better then most and the hotel is very central which is nice. Overall its always been nice.
@@scotttild if you are at Gold level or higher, the resort fee isn’t an issue. A $51.02 per day resort fee, including tax, is indeed both expensive and overpriced.

You used to be able to ask for a spa side tower room in the past when you booked. I always liked that side better.
Its ok but that camo looking carpet is kinda strange! Wynncore and Venelazzo are the best when it comes to rooms!
