Ain't no way that theme is ever replaced, and I certainly never hope it is. It doesn't even feel like an IP attraction even though it technically is. It just feels like nostalgic original Disney.
@@elijahsanimaladventures1643 No they didn't. Splash Mountain is alive and well and Tower of Terror is coming back to California because Disney is being broken up under antitrust and Marvel will be taken away by the government.
For as much as I don’t like the constant implementation of IP in the parks, I actually wouldn’t mind Coco in the Mexico pavilion. It makes way more sense to me than Frozen and even Ratatouille, for as much as I do enjoy that ride. I hope the Three Caballeros, if they ever do make the ride, are stored somewhere safely or reused in another attraction. I also hope if they do Coco that they add way more effects and animatronics, really fleshing out the scenes.
The only problem with that is that the Mexico pavilion is quite small and cramped so putting that in there, what kind of ruin the crowd levels in the pavilion and it would be basically impossible to even be in there
IMO limiting the use of Coco to an exhibition largely focused on Dia De Los Muertos itself is about right given the building - Coco would be better suited to an expansion so it can truly go ham. Kid coaster slash darkride speedshot through the film maybe?
@@ItFlorentin I do agree with you there. I’m just saying if it were to happen, but I really just want more attractions and not rides. Disney ever only seems to open E tickets when they forgot they used to have every other ticket too
Star Tours has 2 things going for it. 1 is that it is the only Star Wars attraction that isn't tied solely to the hated sequel trilogy but celebrates the franchise as a whole. 2 is how it has so many different scenes that encourage rerides by making every ride unique. It gets pretty long lines, not Rise, Slinky, or Tower long, but frequently over 30 minutes. A lot of people are hoping that Smuggler's Run at some point gets an update that brings it up to Star Tours' quality or at least its reridability.
They changed the star tours ride to only include planets and sets from the Disney made Star Wars movies now, nothing to do with the old ones except having R2-D2 and C-3PO
I think an Inside Out themed area would make much more sense inside Wonders of Life instead of Imagination. They could build an entire mind themed area inside there with multiple attractions and exhibits as opposed to one ride inside Imagination.
inside out would be a perfect replacement for captain eo// honey i shrank the audience add some practical effects and projections with the 3D movie maybe figment could appear and represent riley's imagination
@@PTMGamerTVotis I mean yeah I'd rather have a new wonders of life than inside out and I don't like IP, it just makes more sense to put it in wonders than imagination
Well both need to happen. They can't just let 15-20+ yr old attractions going year after year. They not only need to be maintained daily, but also refreshed after a few years. So they need to be willing to shut down an attraction, even if it means shutting down a popular attractions for a few months. Spaceship Earth at EPCOT would be a great example. I love this attractions and try to ride on it every time I'm at EPCOT (I'm an AP), but its very rough, shuts down 2-3 times every time I ride it for sometimes a long time and it just needs to be updated as a whole. It shouldn't end basically with early 2000's explosion of the internet. Somehow we lost things within the past 25 years. It just seems like Disney isn't willing to shut down popular rides very much for some reason.
@@sebysworld The problem with that is everyone has their own vision of what they want Disney to look like. Yes, some will agree but sometimes people don't know what they want. They think they do, but then they see it and think otherwise.
There reportedly is a Figment movie in the early stages of development, so I think the reboot might be times to that. I'm expecting it to also feature Dreamfinder, so he might make a comeback in the attraction (likely with a new actor for obvious reasons).
figment and star tours are not going anywhere. the wait time is usually low because they have huge guest capacity, not because people aren’t going on the ride.
Last time I went to Disney was in February, a season with a lot of competitions so it can get really crowded, and I got on Figment first car on rope drop at the opening of the park(I was in for early theme park entry). The line was about as long as a line for a concession stand. Figment’s not going anywhere. It’s the “low wait time ride with AC” ride in EPCOT.
CHANGE KALI RIVER RAPIDS TO JUNGLE BOOK! Kali river rapids right now has no thrill. Does it have any nice ambiance and entertaining story? NO. Imagine seeing baloo and playing bare necessities while you are on the rapids. The story takes place in Asia. It fits perfectly.
No. Not everything needs an IP and when I take over Disney and make it great again, I will be removing most IP for original ideas. I also won't allow you or anyone with your tastes to visit the parks. You're not welcome at Disney.
@@gamingwizardgames6527 You will show proper respect to a military man, civvie. You take orders from me, do you understand? You will answer "Yes, Sir."
Your explanation of the president's attraction is a bit off. Only certain president's get an A100 animatronic once they are no longer the elected president they demote them to a cheap single movement statue. Like the cargo bay soldiers on rise of the resistance. So the cost isn't that bad really.
Well when I take over Disney, I will undo everything he worked for to Make Disney Great Again and take the parks backwards. We'd even rather have Trump running Disney.
I'm desperate for Star Wars Launch Bay to close. It's honestly pretty sad that something that feels like a temp cheap exhibit promoting the then-ongoing sequel trilogy has lasted so long in a location that's actually quite important to Disney history (the former Florida animation studio/tour). Absolutely any other use of that space would feel better. It'd be amazing if it was something Mulan or Lilo and Stitch related (as those were the biggest projects primarily worked on in Florida), but I'm not picky. The whole animation courtyard section of that park deserves a thorough revamp.
Blows my mind that Iger NEEDS shitty IP placement on all rides instead of letting imagineers have creativity to make something not based off anything. Terrible CEO that will continue to dismantle the parks until he leaves.
And when I take over Disney and make it great again by being the Trump it needs, I will undo everything Crooked Bob worked for and bring back the "What would Walt do?" mantra that ran Disney after his death for decades.
Don’t forget, the original rides ended up creating IP’s like Pirates of the Caribbean, and less successfully Haunted Mansion, Tomorrowland, and Jungle Cruise.
Could you imagine Alien Encounter opening today? The golden age of Disney is dead, at least until a new, progressive CEO takes over.....which is doubtful. Universal is doing a much better job at this, but at the end of the day most of what we'll get from either company is IP based.
I refuse to believe DinoLand USA, mission: space, and star tours are outdated, and that the latter two rides are unpopular. Yeah the former land needed positive improvement, but still.
I’d love to see some good expansions to Disney’s Animal Kingdom that’ll double its size, expand outward, to untouched plots of land, improve some existing lands such as Dinoland, include more animals and exhibits that’ll educate guests about the animal kingdom, and include a lot more rides and shows that’ll add more capacity to the Animal Kingdom park!
@@givesaucydaddyakiss Yeah! It could be located adjacent to Pandora! Also, I’d love to see some nighttime attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well as nighttime spectaculars!
I think it’ll come down to, unfortunately, shortening and shrinking Kilamanjaro Safaris. Technically Animal Kingdom is the largest park, but so much of said space is taken up by this, only kinda popular, attraction.
i rode TGMR every single time. Disney should have modernized and fixed it up instead of replacing it. Adding newer films the younger fans know would have helped it immensely.
There was nothing wrong with TGMR as it was and it will be returning to WDW and coming to California, too. Who cares if younger people don't know the films? Maybe they need to learn to know.
As a Muppet fan, I seriously hope that Disney doesn’t remove Vision 3D. Here are my reasons why Disney might not remove Muppet*Vision 3D. First and foremost, it was the last piece of filmography that Jim Henson ever worked on. The only other thing that Jim worked on around the same time was Sesame Street Numbers and Sesame Street Letters, both being video games. So there is that nostalgic feeling on the ride of being Jim’s final project. Second, the seats were recently replaced in the theatre. Why would Disney spend money on seats for a ride they didn’t care about. Then again, you bring up that Disney doesn’t know what they’re doing with the parks past 2027. Third, It isn’t just a singular ride like Star Tours, it’s part of a whole land so Disney would have to bulldoze more buildings and such. Fourth and finally, I don’t know how many people would describe the buildings of Muppet Courtyard as this, but I think the buildings are absolutely iconic. The ride building, iconic. That shop next to the ride’s building, iconic. The building for PizzeRizzo, maybe not so much. Retheme that to Pete’s Luncheonette from Muppets Take Manhattan or Doc Hopper’s Frog Legs. A lot of reasons, no? Even better, I know this is unlikely, but I would love if that parking lot plot was expanded into a Muppets land. Destroy the current one and move the ride. Maybe finally build that Great Muppet Movie Ride, no? Make Jim Henson’s dream of a Muppet Land a reality. Pull out those old concept arts and honor Jim like nobody has before! Alternatively, retheme Rock N’ Roller Coaster to Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring: The Electric Mayhem. You have the show full of material to work with! While you’re adding the new theming elements, maybe call up Vekoma (the coaster’s manufacturer) and tell them to bring in some new track, systems, and overall updated technology. Heck, move Muppet*Vision 3D to replace Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy and build a new Muppets mini-land. Then you could connect Star Tours to Galaxy’s Edge too! If you want to, move Racing Academy to Animation Courtyard! One more thing that Disney could do is retheme Baseline Tap House to an Electric Mayhem restaurant or, as ArtistBruce24 on Reddit brought up, Don’t Drop Inn from Follow that Bird. (I can imagine every hour or so, they toss salad at you or something like that.) Phew! That was a lot of talk about Muppets in the Disney Parks! Now, where was I… oh yeah, now to start my final essay…
The idea that because Iger says no more projects without IP - when he’s set to be outta there sooner rather than later - is ultra ridiculous. Someone over there needs to be looking way wayyyy more long term and the continued gutting of Epcot (hell, all the parks) by installing BORING IP-based attractions or lackluster sitting areas is not the way. Not all IP, especially some of the more recent releases, has or will stand the test of time. Plus, I don’t think many possible guests want a practically literal recreation of a movie they can watch at home, but in attractions or stage show or walk through splash pad 🙄 form.
TBH i wouldnt mind Space mountain getting a overhaul like Japan is. Its obvous WDW has the worst track that needs a full replacement at this point not just maintenance.
Considering that in the mid-2000s, Tokyo’s version received a refurbishment similar to what MK’s version would later receive in 2009 (an aesthetic/cosmetic update, nothing more), I could see MK’s version receiving a similar overhaul later this decade, to what Tokyo is currently getting. It may not be of the same scale, but full track replacement with new trains featuring onboard audio, at the absolute bare minimum.
Space Mountain absolutely needs a rework. I'm a fairly tall guy, and although there are plenty of Magic Kingdom rides that weren't friendly towards me, Space Mountain physically hurt to ride. Somehow, the extremely specific Tron setup worked just fine, but the fairly simple toboggan didn't.
I hope they don’t get rid of It’s Tough to be a Bug yet ;-; My grandma loves the parks but she can’t get on many rides because of her age, and that one is her favorite!!
a fun fact that i learned from some of my family members that worked at Disney is that many rides at Disney World specifically, still run on Windows 95. (Ex. Dinosaur and Mission Space.) which are both extractions that you listed to be removed soon.
I'd be pretty sad if they got rid of Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios It's its hallmark, it's like removing spaceship earth from Epcot you just can't get rid of it
my idea for hollywood studios, take out the cars racing academy and move muppet vision over there, retheme rockin rollercoaster to muppets electric mahem and make that whole area "muppet studios"
I think it should be themed to Muppets. If we are getting rid of MuppetVision 3D, change Rock N' Roller Coaster's IP to Animal's band. I think I could be fun.
Yeah despite that it’s still fairly new I don’t think it ever really lived up to Disney standards and was ever super popular probably not in the super near future but next 10-15 years it will probably be on its way out
im not sure if that one would go away in the near future since its good for smaller kids and i’ve seen some disney adults enjoy it too but i don’t think the show would have a very long lifespan
They did but the store still haven't been open in years :( makes me sad. Everytime I walk out of Muppet vision and see those two giant Kermit statues I get depressed. I NEED MERXH
tower of terror is in fact based on an ip franchise. its a pertnership with the twilight zone. I personally think they should at some point retool it to be like tokyo disneysea and create a story within it as the whole twilight zone thing, like all ip does severly date it.
If you want star tours gone I can’t talk to you. It is a classic ride which has the ability to stay fresh that other attractions can’t. New scenes keep us coming back and one of the pros of the bombardment of sw content is that it is fuel for this ride. It is also a heavy people eater and Hollywood studios already bad capacity would become so much worse without it
@tristannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn come to think of it, it's incredibly weird how Disney has gone all-in on the sequels at the parks, while somehow ignoring the fact that there's 6 other, generally more well-liked, movies to cash in on. Like, seriously, how is there not a Death Star run ride or something?
Iger really dropping the "more sequels in theaters and IPs in parks!" line to leave no doubt, how depressing. As for the ideas here, I do hate that losing the Rivers of America would deprive a sense of kinetics from Frontierland. Disney showed with Galaxy's Edge that they've basically given up on the importance of objects in motion, but so much of the classic WED-era Disney design philosophy involved filling lands with *movement*, to make things feel alive and compelling, so that even if you didn't ride, say, the steamship or the old skyway, the lands they were in still benefitted from their presence. The one exception where I'll be fine with them getting rid of that, though, is the Tomorrowland Speedway, it's really just time to pack it in on that one, unfortunately. Naturally, I'm most gutted by what Iger's IP demands will keep meaning for EPCOT, since it's a way of saying "we're never going to bring back those long, multi-layered, pavilion-sized attractions that were so interesting and fun and unique, because we've got Disney+ subscriptions to sell", and EPCOT really suffers the most of all the parks in that deal. Unique, original attraction ideas are the ones that tend to stand the test of time and become theme park icons, but it's all about chasing short term dollars, now.
At this point I’ve abandoned Disney world for the hype of epic universe. HOWEVER if Disney did make an upgraded journey into imagination I’d run back in a heartbeat. Idk if they really would though….
Wonder when the space mountain refurb will be. A retrack would be nice. Yeah ditch star tours the ride with the best capacity in the park you’re always complaining about and can be easily updated at anytime. Waits can be low for great Capacity as well.
muppet vision & star tours are safe imo the next areas to close at dhs are rockin roller coaster (the aerosmith contract is coming up and they'll probably chose not to renew) and launch bay (the last expansion pad at dhs atm would be destroying launch bay + remaining animation studio buildings and connecting that area to sunset blvd)
Aerosmith is not a relevant band anymore and I'm surprised a retheme has not been suggested earlier after more stories have come out about Steven Tyler's "liking" for the younger fans. Rock N' Rollercoaster needs either a newer more relevant band or do a retheme
@AeroMetalRush the problem with getting a newer band is that there isn't a lot of household name rock artists in the past decade. If they want to go absolutely ballsy with it, they could try a true legacy artist like The Beatles, but that would be preposterously expensive. Alternatively, if they want to make more money than Endgame, they could perhaps attempt a Taylor Swift rebranding. I genuinely have no clue how that would work, but it would quickly become incredibly popular if they did. Finally, they could do something like Cosmic Rewind and get multiple artists, thereby removing the need to pay for artists' likenesses.
Predictions Animal kingdom: the rafts Epcot: journey into imagination, mission space, three cabliaros. Hollywood studios: racing academy, muppet vision, and the launch bay get replaced While tower of terror and rockin roller coaster get rethemed. Magic kingdom: buzz lightyear, autopia, maybe a few in fantasy land. Seriously Disney is lazy when it comes to replacements and expansions.
Mission:Space isn't going anywhere. The 2016 updates and the opening of Space220 right next door should be a clear indicator they are willing to keep that ride around long term.
I have strong positive vibes about Imagination and hopefully a Dreamfinder return, because they know how that would make legendary fans go crazy and it's a very simple fix.
I feel as though Mission: SPACE is safe as of right now, mostly because of the changes coming to Test Track very soon. They could also resurrect the Spaceship Earth refurb at any point so it may not be smart to rid that side of the park of another attraction. The ride serves its purpose well. There will always be kids who love space and the ride isn't outdated (we have not reached Mars).
I wish they’d make something like cosmic rewind, like imagine a space roller coaster going around the solar system and learning a few tidbits about it! I’d love that! Like the queue could have 8 tubes of water with a rock in it simulating gravity of the 8 planets. Something educational but fun! I wonder how they can get the guests to experience zero gravity on the ride but not be claustrophobic?
If it has to be IP based, they should change Rock n’ Roller coaster to a Cars them racing coaster. Maybe even a dueling coaster type of set up🤷🏾♀️. Since the Lighting McQueen show is right there, they can turn that area into a mini cars land…..maybe?!!?
“The idea of a President” I always get chills when the narrator says that. It truly is a slept on attraction. I make sure I bring everyone I’m with into see it lol 😅
I mean, for Disney Jr. since they rebranded this month. They should replace the show with a new Disney Jr. show with new shows like Mickey Mouse Funhouse, or SuperKitties, maybe keep Doc McStuffins, and just possibly bring Bluey into the show?
I could maybe see them update the Beauty and the Beast show like how they’re updating the Little Mermaid show this year or replace it with a new IP. It kinda mindblows me that it hasn’t changed at all since 1991. Either way I don’t think the show the way it is has anymore than 5 years left or so
According to WDW Magic, shortening ROA at Magic Kingdom has been on the table a few times but it’s not likely it gets filled all the way in. There’s more than enough room behind Big Thunder Mountain, the river, and Haunted Mansion for expansion.
@brodytamanini2713 I think he means it’s not a Disney IP. Disney doesn’t own the twilight zone. They have the licensing rights for the ride but no ability to create new content for the show.
No they didn't. Disney is lying. Splash Mountain is alive and well at WDW and I rode it on October 1, 2046 for the 75th. All things Tiana are going to be banned like Pete Rose.
@@justplainizzy You wouldn't know what theming is or the Disney Difference is if it knocked on your door. And Splash Mountain is not closed, Disney is lying. You'll be the one crying when I take over Disney, make it great again, and only registered purists can visit the parks which will become frozen in time. No Disney parks for you.
I’ve heard that the reason Rock N Rollercoaster is down for refurbishment is because the contract with Aerosmith expired. Now they are making it into a lame low budget Powerline ride. So sad I never got to ride it when it was Aerosmith
Disney leadership would have to be insanely stupid to shut down either Star Tours or Tower of Terror with zero revamp for either. So I could easily see them close either with zero revamp.
I don't think Star Tours is going anywhere anytime soon. They updated it with new scenes quite recently, so it seems like they are intent on increasing its popularity and keeping it around. Your other points land pretty well, though.
@@ryansteenhard101 it’s funny cuz it actually wasn’t racist. Just nonsense media propaganda. The first movie to feature a lead black man who also won an Oscar for that role.
4:45 I think they'd be more inclined to add an attraction set in Brazil rather than something based off Coco. And I'm not saying that just because I'm brazilian, but based on the data about Orlando tourists' nationalities and the fact that Brazil is one of the most famous examples of a tropical country. José Carioca is there available as a Disney IP (and he's an animal), but if they wanted to go nuts they could even add Rio to the parks. I think it's near impossible given it was produced by Blue Sky, but adding Zé is not that far-fetched of an idea. Mexico got its own pavilion, the other 4 countries that make the top 5 nationalities visiting Orlando have, only Brazil does not. In 2017 if I'm not mistaken there were blue sky concepts of a Brazil pavilion in EPCOT and I think they could really make us justice in Animal Kingdom. Btw love your videos. Greetings from Brazil!
I think they have a plan to change rock n roller coaster already that’s why they have the two huge refurbs so when they returns it and keep the same track it’s smooth and updated already
I would re-theme rockin rollercoaster to a producer specifically Rick Rubin (just my pick) and make it like rip ride rocket where you can select your own song. Imagine choosing from Run DMC to RHCP to SOAD or even Johnny Cash.
Or you could simply bring over Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln to replace Hall of Presidents af the Magic Kingdom, where you only have one audio-animatronic. Plus, they can market it as “Walt Disney’s Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” to appeal to the die-hard fans.
I will not take any Hall of Presidents slander today. Best show in MK right behind Carousel of Progress. I love how it respects and builds on the founding ideas of America in a informative and beautifully crafted show.
It’s also a great unifier. I don’t think I’ve ever had a negative experience of booing watching it and I have watched this show under 4 presidents’ administrations
While Disney caters to the nostalgia of its 35+ faithful audience, Universal is creating a massive empire that appeals to younger generations and has a more timeless and global approach that will last for decades to come.
I am Mission: Space's strongest soldier, that ride whips ass, do not take it from me Also Disney would be in a weird situation if they got rid of Tower of Terror, since with the loss of the Earffel Tower and the Sorcerer's Hat, they seem to have adopted the Tower as the de facto icon for Hollywood Studios
Considering they can’t make a marvel land in Florida and that there really isn’t enough space for some bull stuff like that, it’s basically impossible for them to remove it
The closure that would hurt me the most would be Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. It's Hollywood Studios' only roller coaster and the one ride I get on every time I visit Hollywood Studios. The other rides I might ultimately be ok with seeing them go, but seeing Mission: SPACE gone would make me sad.
It’s a pretty fun ride, but people hate on it for whatever reason. I know Aerosmith is not at the peak of their popularity, but they’re a classic band and the ride is amazing.
For as much as people love Figment, I believe that the Imagination ride and land should be re-themed to Inside Out. This would upset many park goers, but the ride is becoming outdated and already has a fairly mixed reception (most people preferred the original). An Inside Out lane would give the land a fresh start and the opportunity to have a ton of attractions and rides to check out (a thrilling roller coaster for the older guests and a dark ride for the families and kids would be awesome).
Absolutely not. NOTHING is outdated and Epcot needs to be an IP-free zone. What Imagination needs is the return of the Dreamfinder, and the Communicore rainbow tunnels. Nothing more
“Nobody was riding Ellen’s Energy Adventure or TGMR” I guess I and anyone else with anxiety disorder and a heart problem who enjoys dinosaurs or filmography are Nobody. :< And moving on to AK… Coco and Encanto don’t really make sense. And it seems pretty unfair to me to completely snip off an entire kingdom animalia for that. Most especially my favorite one in my eyes but that’s likely just me. I love the dinosauria. Also hope Disney won’t take away Figment… 😭 I understand his current attraction isn’t a favorite because it’s shortened, rewritten and doesn’t have DreamFinder… but I still grew up loving him via the ride since 2001… Also my own opinions on Muppets versus Star Tours/Star Wars is this… I would MUCH rather keep looking for the 🌈 connection while sitting beside Kermit, halfway up the stairs, than be involved in intergalactic war. But I know that’s just me, once again. Okay… I’m not a HoP fan myself but I AM going to argue that though it may not be popular, it does at least serve a purpose that is being served less and less at these parks. It actually works as a form of edutainment. It’s a show, making it “entertainment”, but it is a show that TEACHES and INFORMS about US history, something we need now more than ever before!
What sucks is that Disney used to be more educational and imaginative with their rides and lands. I know Disney only cares about money, but the rides beyond any Disney IP or movies are cool and make me critically think and create new ideas.
I get a bit annoy when anyone talk about expansion and animal kingdom because there are HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE logistical issues with it. Animal Kingdom IS a zoo. An AZA accredited and very much well appreciated by zoo experts. AZA is gold standards for zoos and getting rid of the accreditation can hurt them very much. Most of the space a lot of people think could be use for expansion can’t be use in reality because that space is behind the scene husbandry. Additionally anything that requires construction is a bit more difficult in animal kingdom because then you also need to worry about how construction will affect the animals. I believe that Dino land and the theater space will be easy to convert but expansion is not something I expect to happen at Animal Kingdom
I don’t understand why people think Coco in the Mexico pavilion makes so much sense when I think it’s so illogical because there’s nowhere for any sort of line for the attraction to go
@@nikolaspaz8820 except it’s not about animals or conservation so why on earth do you think it would fit with the themes of animal kingdom? It would work just fine in a MK or HS expansion but you choose the literal worst park to make your point 😭

All within the next 10-15 years I’m expecting Magic Kingdom: Buzz Lightyear gets rethemed possibly to Wreck it Ralph, all the ones you mentioned get replaced Epcot: I pretty much agree with all you said Hollywood Studios: Beauty and the Beast gets replaced, Racing Academy gets replaced, Launch Bay gets replaced and potentially expanded behind it, Rockin Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror get rethemed Animal Kingdom: Nothing will happen till after Zootopia and Tropical Americas open (whenever that is) but the next thing on the chopping block after that might be Kali River Rapida
Within the next 10-15 years Disney will get broken up under antitrust and taken over leading to the Make Disney Great Again era in which WDW is pulled back to the 1980s.
for my question is what would they do if they were to replace all of the Muppet Area where all those restaurants are would they put in new ones for Star Wars or just keep them?
I don’t think tower of terror is going anywhere mainly because they are using it as a logo like how mission space is used in Epcot My guess is Lightning McQueen’s racing academy
No. Walt is dead and that philosophy died with him. When I take over Disney that mantra is going in the dustbin of history where it belongs. I will replace it with Make Disney Great Again and take the parks backwards to their golden age. Repeat after me: Change is BAD.
You know what I think Disney should do? Swap out Aerosmith for My Chemical Romance on Rock n Roller Coaster. I’m telling you, Look Alive Sunshine would fit PERFECTLY before the launch. And Na Na Na playing during the actual coaster would be EPIC.
13:32 They can never get rid of Muppet Vision 3D. It was the very last thing Jim Henson had created before he died so getting ride of it would definitely upset a lot of people. I know they could just throw the Muppet Vision 3D movie on to Disney+ but it wouldn’t be the same. Edit: 17:15 They are already planning on replace Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster…well kind of. They are planning on changing the theme. Instead of it being based on Areosmith it will be based on Queen.
I spoke about replacements in Animal Kingdom while I was in the park last year in October. For one, I think that Dinoland USA would be replaced with Zootopia. See, giving that they have a section of the park in Hong Kong Disney and giving it's popularity, would be considered to be put where the dinosaur land would be. Who knows, they might consider it and would place anything Mexico related to Cocoa or Encanto in Epcot. As for expansions within the park. Considering that Avatar was a big hit, with the exception of the river ride, and the fact that Disney was able to get one marvel property in Epcot. I was considering have them adding Wakanda and the Black Panther close to where the Africa section is located. I'm just saying that because Black Panther has two successful movies and is the biggest marketing IP within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So it would fit in with the park and Africa as a whole. And besides, I don't think there's anything Black Panther related within the Marvel section at Islands of Adventure so this is big chance for Disney to add more Marvel related stuff into their Orlando resort giving that we won't be able to have an Avengers Training Facility in the near future. But these are just my thoughts on what would be replaced. Though I must admit, it would be awesome to see those happening. #WherearetheGoodCartoons?
Tower of Terror is literally the marketed icon of Hollywood Studios. Closing it would trigger an absolute uproar.
Closing Tower of Terror would be like closing Spaceship Earth, or completely blocking off Cinderella’s Castle from view
they did that with splash mountain I won't be surprised considering they have done that with the one at Disney land
Ain't no way that theme is ever replaced, and I certainly never hope it is. It doesn't even feel like an IP attraction even though it technically is. It just feels like nostalgic original Disney.

They need to stop closing things down and start expanding the parks to begin with
How about both? Some of the things he mentioned do need updates.
Put a loop in Space Mountain.
I think they should make some replacements on there Disney world app and people should vote what the community wants to leave

figment and star tours are not going anywhere. the wait time is usually low because they have huge guest capacity, not because people aren’t going on the ride.

Disney should replace Bob Iger with a more popular IP
Well when I take over Disney, I will undo everything he worked for to Make Disney Great Again and take the parks backwards. We'd even rather have Trump running Disney.
@@stanfordite1 Do you like Splash Mountain?
I agree. Takes away the whole reason Disney was so well liked. The imagination and the originality was what was great about the parks.
You did it again.....
RIP Rivers of America
I refuse to believe DinoLand USA, mission: space, and star tours are outdated, and that the latter two rides are unpopular. Yeah the former land needed positive improvement, but still.
I agree. It needs more dinosaur-themed attractions that’ll add capacity.
I am now and forever a mission space defender
Mission Space had long lines when I was in the park last week.
Great.
Mission space is garbage. It was outdated 15 years ago. So boring.
I'd also love to not see it close so early. Closing at 6pm everyday doesn't seem worth the ticket cost
They need to FINALLY build Beastly Kingdom, like they were going to when the park opened.
@@givesaucydaddyakiss Yeah! It could be located adjacent to Pandora! Also, I’d love to see some nighttime attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well as nighttime spectaculars!

i rode TGMR every single time.
Epcot has turned into a dumping ground for whatever crap doesnt fit in anywhere else. That fucking place doesn't even have a theme anymore
it technically does still have a theme, but it’s just not a very good one anymore
I’d prefer some expansions over replacements and some expansions could include more rides that’ll add capacity!
I would rather have them keep the tough to be a bug and put in an insect house nearby. Indiana Jones ride at Hollywood Studios makes more sense imo
(I can imagine every hour or so, they toss salad at you or something like that.)
Phew! That was a lot of talk about Muppets in the Disney Parks! Now, where was I… oh yeah, now to start my final essay…
I'm a huge Muppet fan myself
Id kms if they got rid of rock n roller coaster or tot
It may not be of the same scale, but full track replacement with new trains featuring onboard audio, at the absolute bare minimum.
i would love a new track for space with tron open they can afford shutting down space for awhile and not have to deal with lack of capacity
I hope they don’t get rid of It’s Tough to be a Bug yet ;-; My grandma loves the parks but she can’t get on many rides because of her age, and that one is her favorite!!
yeah, I love the ride all they need to do is replace the animatronics.
a fun fact that i learned from some of my family members that worked at Disney is that many rides at Disney World specifically, still run on Windows 95. (Ex. Dinosaur and Mission Space.) which are both extractions that you listed to be removed soon.
I'd be pretty sad if they got rid of Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios
It's its hallmark, it's like removing spaceship earth from Epcot you just can't get rid of it
my idea for hollywood studios, take out the cars racing academy and move muppet vision over there, retheme rockin rollercoaster to muppets electric mahem and make that whole area "muppet studios"
that’s cute
A queen retheme to rockin roller coaster would be amazing.

Imagine a retheme to Beatlemania. Starting in a hard day's night to the summer of love's sgt pepper to let it be's rooftop concert could be legendary!
I think it should be themed to Muppets. If we are getting rid of MuppetVision 3D, change Rock N' Roller Coaster's IP to Animal's band. I think I could be fun.
I like to see them retheme it to Spotify.
They should just build a Rip Ride Rockit amirite?
Maybe a Phineas and Ferb Theme and name it Rock the 104 days of summer vacation
Another is Lightning McQueen racing academy at Hollywood Studios
Yeah despite that it’s still fairly new I don’t think it ever really lived up to Disney standards and was ever super popular probably not in the super near future but next 10-15 years it will probably be on its way out
im not sure if that one would go away in the near future since its good for smaller kids and i’ve seen some disney adults enjoy it too but i don’t think the show would have a very long lifespan
They actually just updated muppets recently, so I don't think it's going anywhere.
It is also a heavy people eater and Hollywood studios already bad capacity would become so much worse without it
it's also the only ride that has the classic and prequels represented in the parks
Exactly he just starts hating on every ride he never likes lmao
I can see an Incredibles retheme
Plz don’t close Its Tough To Be A Bug, the one show that I feel scares children in the parks, rides should do that more often
Predictions
Animal kingdom: the rafts
Epcot: journey into imagination, mission space, three cabliaros.
Mission space, autopia and buzz light year have basically zero chance of getting removed
You try get rid of Muppets....prepare for resistance!!!
I will die on the hill that Tron light cycle run should have been at Epcot and make a whole area around it based on The Grid
Tbh I don’t see Disney Jr going anywhere if it stays relevant with young kids which I’m expecting it will

I'll be so pissed off if they plan to close Tower Of Terror because I've never got the chance to ride it throughout my life.
Space Mountain needs an update.
I mean, for Disney Jr. since they rebranded this month. They should replace the show with a new Disney Jr. show with new shows like Mickey Mouse Funhouse, or SuperKitties, maybe keep Doc McStuffins, and just possibly bring Bluey into the show?
i hope they do not touch any other ride in Anaheim after seeing what they did to splash mountain
They just added stuff to star tours so it really does not make sense to get rid of it
I could maybe see them update the Beauty and the Beast show like how they’re updating the Little Mermaid show this year or replace it with a new IP.

They should have kept the Alien Encounter!! That was scary and fun lol

Hall of Presidents > Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
You're forgetting the Wonders of Life building at Epcot is still sitting empty for years now.
I will not take any Hall of Presidents slander today. Best show in MK right behind Carousel of Progress. I love how it respects and builds on the founding ideas of America in a informative and beautifully crafted show.

I am Mission: Space's strongest soldier, that ride whips ass, do not take it from me
Also Disney would be in a weird situation if they got rid of Tower of Terror, since with the loss of the Earffel Tower and the Sorcerer's Hat, they seem to have adopted the Tower as the de facto icon for Hollywood Studios
I'm with you. Those who cannot handle Orange, an Orange that isn't even as intense as it used to be have weak bloodlines.

If muppet vision ever goes I'll kms.
Nothing more
I’m not a figment fan either but I think Inside Out would make more sense replacing the wonders of life
“Nobody was riding Ellen’s Energy Adventure or TGMR”
I guess I and anyone else with anxiety disorder and a heart problem who enjoys dinosaurs or filmography are Nobody. :<
And moving on to AK… Coco and Encanto don’t really make sense. And it seems pretty unfair to me to completely snip off an entire kingdom animalia for that. Most especially my favorite one in my eyes but that’s likely just me. I love the dinosauria.
Also hope Disney won’t take away Figment… 😭 I understand his current attraction isn’t a favorite because it’s shortened, rewritten and doesn’t have DreamFinder… but I still grew up loving him via the ride since 2001…
Also my own opinions on Muppets versus Star Tours/Star Wars is this… I would MUCH rather keep looking for the 🌈 connection while sitting beside Kermit, halfway up the stairs, than be involved in intergalactic war.
Bring back the Original Journey Into Imagination with Figment & the Dreamfinder and the Rainbow Tunnel. Also Body Wars!
@ "It was rumored to be part of the animal kingdom expansion" that doesn't make it a good idea 💀
what kinda argument is that?
"idk if they have space in Hollywood studios" babes they own the land mass double the size of manhattan space is not the issue
Also not you suggesting behind big thunder like you just came up with it when Disney already released blue sky concept art of just that a few years ago
That ginormous comment all just to say a whole lotta nothing
@@mikeywebb9598 whatever no need to get all fussy about it
Ummm... Tower of terror is based off the twilight zone show so it is IP based
I would be gutted if they got rid of the Hall of Presidents. Then again, I'm not American, so perhaps it's more of a novelty to an outsider.
I can see muppets being shut down on HS in comparison to star tours that had an update two months ago with new scenes.
Disney World is cooked , universal just went from 900 acres for the epic universe expansion to 2200 acres and there gonna use all that property
All within the next 10-15 years I’m expecting
Magic Kingdom: Buzz Lightyear gets rethemed possibly to Wreck it Ralph, all the ones you mentioned get replaced
Epcot: I pretty much agree with all you said
Hollywood Studios: Beauty and the Beast gets replaced, Racing Academy gets replaced, Launch Bay gets replaced and potentially expanded behind it, Rockin Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror get rethemed
Animal Kingdom: Nothing will happen till after Zootopia and Tropical Americas open (whenever that is) but the next thing on the chopping block after that might be Kali River Rapida
Within the next 10-5 years, Disney will be broken up, lose all its acquisitions, get bought in a takeover and be De-Igerfied.
Within the next 10-15 years Disney will get broken up under antitrust and taken over leading to the Make Disney Great Again era in which WDW is pulled back to the 1980s.
None of those will be happening. Within the next 10-15 years Disney will be trust busted and be taken back to the 80s.
I managed to get one right for HS so far, and potentially another if they close launch bay for monsters inc
for my question is what would they do if they were to replace all of the Muppet Area where all those restaurants are would they put in new ones for Star Wars or just keep them?
I don’t think tower of terror is going anywhere mainly because they are using it as a logo like how mission space is used in Epcot
My guess is Lightning McQueen’s racing academy
Walt said the parks should always be in a state “of becoming “ Change is good
