Here's something I'm not sure if u guys know but that match in a steel cage between Hogan and Orndorff where both of them stepped down at the same time, George The Animal Steele admitted that Orndorff's feet came down first. I think Paul should have been either IC or won the WWF championship.

@@preving ORNDORFF PIPER ROBERTS n even Steamboat should’ve had a run with the WORLD TITLE Vince didn’t want to gamble with his cash cow of Hogan. Funny he eventually gambled on Warrior and well you saw had that turned out. As I kid of the early 90’s I always wondered why Warrior run with the World belt was so quick and it went right back to Hogan, smh 🤦‍♂️ It is what it is 🤷‍♂️but I definitely loved Warrior as a Real Life Superhero.

I told this story before ,but in the early 90's the wrestlers come into the Power Gym to train when in town. I was loading up the bar to do bench press , Paul O asked if he could work in with me , so me and Paul O did 4 sets of bench together. He was very friendly and politely , ice memory. What makes his career even more impressive is that the last 1/2 of it was done with only one fully functioning arm. Dude didn’t take time off to heal when his big run with Hogan was commencing, just taped it up and toughed it out.

It's so common to hear tributes like this for the great wrestlers of the '70s and '80s who have now passed away. What i find depressing about that is how much I doubt we will hear tributes like this regarding today's wrestlers when they pass away in 20-30 years.

I remember Paul Roma’s interview when he talked about Mr. Wonderful. Roma said Orndorff came to him when Power and Glory was just starting and told him that Roma looked fantastic, the gimmick was solid but that if he wanted to get Power and Glory over he was gonna have to do it because Vince wasn’t going to push them.
Roma said Orndorff was right. Vince has no intention of pushing power and glory because it wasn’t Vince’s idea. Roma came up with the name, logos everything and he and Herc pushed it hard to be great heels.
When Roma got to WCW and the horsemen thing didn’t ran its course, he and Orndorff did Pretty Wonderful and Orndorff was really great at helping to establish Roma.
