Wow Lisa, I am so impressed with the folded trees. Simply stunning. The gift card holders are superb, one of my favourite crafts. Thank you very much. 🇬🇧💓🎄
You are so welcome. Thanks for watching Betty! Just so you know, I will be demonstrating every Monday at 8pm ET. I would love to have you join the fun! Occasionally my daughter Gina will demonstrate too!!
Lisa - I made this design (15 of them) as one of the 3 designs I chose for Christmas this year. They are adorable and were a big hit. Thank you for the inspiration and tutorial! - Rena
Loved the card! I did the teabag fold last year after seeing a UK stamper video. Some of my trees I turned into ornaments by gluing two trees back to back. Thank you!
I have already made 2 trees!!! I love it! So much fun and I will be making Christmas cards with them. Thank you so much for all you teach us!! Very grateful.
Lisa, OMG....these cards are absolutely stunning. I am so in love with the 'teabag' fold Christmas Tree. I am not a lover of Christmas, but this card & your Kaleidoscope Card have at least put me in the mood to make a few homemade cards to send out. Thank you, as always, for your (much needed for me) creativity designs & ideas. You are such an inspiration to give such wonderful ideas especially since my brain & creativity really don't travel in the same 'circle'! :) Many wishes for a Blessed Christmas & also blessings throughout however long this pandemic goes on.
Great cards Lisa. I actually made the origami tree years ago when I volunteered at elementary school - I did it with intermediate grades and they loved the origami.. TFS all your great videos.🇨🇦
Lisa, I was never interested in Origami folding until I saw your tree! I’m done with my Christmas cards for this year but, as soon as I get them in the mail, I’m going to work on my prototypes for next year’s cards. Thank you for an awesome tutorial!
I love that Christmas tea card and the other cards you made and shared. I want to make some of the cards for gift cards. That would be nice for birthday cards or any occasion.
Hi Lisa, This is the first time I've ever been interested enough to attack this art form. Thank you so much for this beautiful idea. I know I'm watching the replay (nearly a year later), but I love your card ideas !!!! Please have a very blessed Thanksgiving.... Victoria
thank you for the refresher. I made these years ago and they were very popular. I love all the tips, wish I lived in the states to get your card making class, it looks so awesome. Sending hugs from Canada.
Carol-Anne happy to have you watch!! I do have the PDF tutorial with pictures and step by step cards. You can download immediately. Here is the link if you are interested: lisasstampstudio.com/pdf-tutorials
Christmas greetings from the UK 🇬🇧😁. I made some of these origami trees a few years ago from 12x12 paper for the biggest section. If you fold the bottom flaps underneath you can make a tree that stands up for Christmas decor
Hi Lisa, great technique, just found this tutorial today and will make at least one of your tree origami cards for this year October 2021. Your tutorials are very well detailed, thorough fun and beautiful. Thank you for taking the time to share your cardmaking talents, i appreciate all the free content you provide for us all, Thank You.
i made that tree card the first christmas after i started paper crafting and i loved that tree so much that i made 2 of the same cardstock-same size and put them back to back with some ribbom between them and hung it on our christmas tree-the kids had gread fun with making them too and they turned out great. Love them
Love this tree fold. I've done it before but it's a bit tough with arthritis. I make the tree trunk narrower. Love your card and tags, thanks for sharing.
As soon as I saw this I had to try this! So fun - I used a sheet from the Flowers for Every Season pack. Also, I think I might try putting one of these trees inside the card to make it a (kinda) pop-up card. Thanks so much for this idea!
This reminds me of teabag folding -- a lighter weight paper seems to work very well for this "bulky" layered effect -- and should go through the post without any extra stamps or handling/ padded envelope.

I thought it was a good idea to put the different coloured DSP on the top of the tree, it looked gorgeous like decoration.......Corinne from Western Australia.
Thank you Lisa! I LOVED the origami Christmas tree cards. Your instructions and helpful tips are so clear and helpful!! These will definitely be my cards for this Christmas.
