SHARLA!! Always awesome to spend a day with you! Super glad you enjoyed our underground journey!! The tunnels are huge! Head there on your next hot or rainy day and see if you can't find something new!!
The timing of this video couldn't be any better!! We're in Tokyo for 7 days and it's totally going to rain this weekend so I now have plans!! And I very much appreciate the lunch option as I'm dying to find more veggies!!! 😍😍
This was such an enjoyable vlog! I loved it! You and Norm are really the best of friends it's really wonderful to watch! ^^ Thank you Sharla for your lovely video!
I'm not usually a "comment on videos" type of person, but that was really, really cool! Tokyo Underground looks like an amazing place to visit and experience, and I thought it was really cool that you guys found a few places that were super quiet with almost nobody around. Also, Norm seems like the NICEST guy.
We got lost in underground Tokyo. It was incredible! We were there for ages, we spent hours exploring and I went nuts in the Pokémon shop. I wanted to get some stuff from the Studio Ghibli shop but yeah everything I wanted was expensive! Wish we could have gone into the restaurants but they always had long queues. I miss Japan so much.
This was so fun to see! I loved all the cute shops they had down there, especially the hello kitty shop! At least Taylor found the Coffee coke for you. I love bubble tea!
This friendship is amazing ^-^ such good energy! and very interesting video, id love to explore underground tokyo♡♡♡♡ thank you for being awesome Sharla!!!!♡♡♡♡
This was a great video! Videos exploring Japan are always cool and the energy in this was really calming if that makes sense. 😅 I'm gonna check out Norm's channel now! 😊
This - this is exactly what I miss about Japan. The entire underground-world. Like - every train station had a giant mall underneath it, and restaurants, and stuff.
Wow, this was actually a fascinating video. I had no idea there was all that stuff underground! And Norm seems like a cool guy. We would be good friends.
I used to work in a building just few minutes from the northern Yaesu exit. This underground shopping mall system was just incredibly easy to get lost in.
this is amazing!! i'm already obsessed with train lines and the like, but i didn't really know abt all the underground things tokyo had to offer. i need to go even more now!
I was in tokyo last year and there was a huge storm so I spent the whole day under tokyo station! It was a great day actually, I had a great time! Loved all the shops and restaurants, as well as the food stalls and markets, seriously recommend anyone to check it out! x
love the long videos sharla, its fun when u can make them longer i get so excitedddd:D :D what a fun vlog. i just am gonna go catch up on all ur vids ive been so busy this past 2 weeks from school
mentioning kit kat, im so sad bc i just remember none of the flavours are vegannnnn but oh well. i miss the green tea flavour but ill just drink matcha instead ;)
Sharla I am.going to Japan because of you I've been watching your videos for a year now your awesome and i would cry if I ran into you. Your the best !!
This popped up as recommended today, turns out I've liked and watched this a very long time ago. After getting to know/see Norm through his other channels through the years I find it so absolutely fittingly funny Norm starts bouncing down the stairs as Sharla mentions getting lost. This screams to me: Question (directed by anyone to Norm): How much lost are you ok with? Norm answers: Yes! (starts wagging his tail if he had one)
wow that place is like a huge cave system mixed with a shopping center i wounder if there one of these stashed under the misty mountains or erebor they would be the perfect
OMG, do you know I'm a Bubble Tea lover? You have to bring me there!!! 😍 Those gallery looks so interesting! I remember the one in Kyoto but in Tokyo I never did that!
The trick is to put the curry in a separate bowl and then cook the shabu shabu meat, put it on top the rice and pour the curry over it. Then you have perfectly cooked meat with your curry
That looks like such a fun place to explore! My twin sister lives down in Nagoya, the next time I come to visit her- I've been to Japan twice and I absolutely love it- I'll have to ask her to take me here.
That was a very interesting view of Tokyo, and I remember Norm! Bubble tea is also available in my country *-* I went with a friend and I wanted to try all. It was delicious.
I randomly went into a toy shop down the block from where I live in NYC called "Toy Tokyo". It seemed like something that would be right up your alley! Thanks for your videos =)
I just wanna go to Japan so bad. It's my dream and no matter what I'll go there one day. Thank you for your vlogs sharla they are always refreshing and enjoyable to watch ありがと!
Between you and Taylor r, I feel like I have visited Korea and Japan and seen just about everything. Not sure I even need to go there anymore after watching your videos
The phone case uses digital ink technology, like a Kindle EReader. Basically sends an electric charge to bring ink up to the surface of the device so it can be seen.
I remember it took me forever to actually find this while underground. If in doubt just point and ask because it was quite a puzzle for me to find haha
There's so much stuff down there! That was nice of that girl to give you free candy to try, AND for the cashier to give you that free drink! People really are nicer than a lot of people give them credit for!
That sounds like a really fun idea! Definitely sounds like something I'd do, just to see the shops underground. I think I saw those apple vending machines before...can't remember where, maybe on Kim's channel. Either that or some video I saw where someone ate only out of Japanese vending machines all day. Can't remember. I heard "Mezase Pokemon Master" playing in the background of the Pokémon store! Which is really cool considering that's the original opening theme of the anime from 1996.
Woa underground tokyo is soo cool, it's like the Greek labyrinth but modern.... Omagerd Norm/lenz 😍 Was gonna make a D-cup joke but it's a little rude and lewd :3
Here where I come from it gets extremely hot and humid in summer too and going to the mall just to enjoy the A/C is totally a thing. There are even people doing exercise going up and down the stairs. Can't wait to see the japanese underground but I am afraid of getting lost for eternity ;)
Sharla! If you want to know how those candy makers are making candy, you should check out the lofty pursuits channel! they make those long strips of candy you see them making in your video a lot.
I'm torn up about the jingle they play in 7i holdings over there, because I'm positive it's a Neil Diamond, or a Beegees song. All I know is, they've been playing it forever, or at least since my visit in 2016
Very Cool, the Japaneese underground is amazing, I'm the type who would wonder what is above us if I was down there, and if I may Sharla I am in a small town, where if you go fifteen minutes in any direction you are in another city, so to see such a Massive underground was good to see, also what I liked if I may was the store where you boiled your own food, I swear I bout died, knowing me I would be singing Japaneese songs and acting like I'm a Ninja warrior or something, it is totally amazing to see all of the creativity in Japaneese culture, thanks for sharing, share more, I want to see all of Japan, even the vending machines that are in strange places.
SHARLA!! Always awesome to spend a day with you!
Super glad you enjoyed our underground journey!!
The tunnels are huge! Head there on your next hot or rainy day and see if you can't find something new!!
+Tokyo Lens Thanks for showing me around!! :D

Where is the Shabu Shabu restaurant? I'll be in Tokyo at the beginning of October and I'd like to find an inexpensive shabu restaurant. Thanks!
It's called inkcase, I just googled it and it's $150! Expensive but worth it if you can change it background anytime!
Really enjoyed this one, probably my favourite video for a while, they work well together.
y'all should definitely do more videos together!!! like maybe go search and find new places or something! Love the friendship!

gotta say how attractive he is :P
also, that looks like such a fun place to explore!
At least he looks like a dude.
@@bermanmo6237 That's a weird and mean thing to say. There is nothing wrong with guys who look feminine.
the stair from the right is very genius, because the ceiling is kinda suddenly low, they make a stair so wont bump your head
I just wanna go to Japan so bad. It's my dream and no matter what I'll go there one day. Thank you for your vlogs sharla they are always refreshing and enjoyable to watch
ありがと!
That phone case with the eInk display is really neat. I didn't know such a thing existed. I wonder where you can buy one and what it costs.

This video shows one of the examples of why Japan is amazing.
Sharla do you still like/love Hello Kitty? When you showed that HK shop I was excited!! Did you browse inside?
Those hard candies with the double cherry actually originated in America 🇺🇸 during the early 1900's and were a very popular Christmas candy.
I didn't know that existed! That's so cool!
Here where I come from it gets extremely hot and humid in summer too and going to the mall just to enjoy the A/C is totally a thing. There are even people doing exercise going up and down the stairs. Can't wait to see the japanese underground but I am afraid of getting lost for eternity ;)

Those bubble tea look so delicious!
I'm torn up about the jingle they play in 7i holdings over there, because I'm positive it's a Neil Diamond, or a Beegees song.
All I know is, they've been playing it forever, or at least since my visit in 2016
Neat! We have a similar underground here in Montreal
Always excited to sing along the ending song lol
