There is honestly not a period of blink that I don't love. Flyswatter through Dogs Eating Dogs is all just awesome to me, I've never been someone to just love a music act before but blink has quickly became my favorite.

I was 10 when I first heard this demo. The Limewire days. I'm now 26, and old blink will always hold a special place in my heart. Blink, and the pop punk scene got me, and millions like me, through a lot in life.

@@wolfman6489 yeah, the DIY, recorded on cassette, selling demos for $2 at shows, and making flyers was the way to do it back in the day..it was more personal, i kinda miss that ..its something alot of starting bands dont do nowadays..with the digital era it became somewhat boring IMO

Listen to the drum roll in Dick Lips, it's not even in time with the rest of the song ffs 😂😂 And don't even get my started on Carousel... Travis's version on their live album is 100x better.

@@KristoferProphetTravis can play Scott parts note for note, but it wouldn’t be as good. He doesn’t hit has hard, doesn’t sound as huge playing Scott songs, and couldn’t intensify his performances during songs like Scott did.
Scott stylistically isn’t inclined to play technically and show off, but by 20 years old, he’s implied to have a great level of technical proficiency judging by how play all his songs at such intensity and speed without letting up. And I can point to songs like TV, Degenerate, where he gets somewhat Jazzy and Technical in places.
Scott wouldn’t play like Travis on his songs, but I wouldn’t doubt he could play them if you were to let him sit down and learn ‘em.

I love this. I saw them two days ago and listening to this is beautiful. They had NO clue how wealthy and popular they’d become in just a few short years. Recording this in a bedroom and fast forward to thirty years later making millions on stage in front of millions all around the world.
This was when they were under "Blink" but they had to change it to Blink-182 because Blink was already taken. Its like usernames, coolman is taken so we event coolman247 haha.

I remember back in the day everyone was all elitist if they were fans before Travis joined, and Blink got huge. At this point I just love all blink 182, everything up until Tom left the band. I think the song "Dogs Eating Dogs" was the last classic blink song.

However the number 1 song for each band will never change. Wasting Time is my favourite and always be and the acoustic version they played when I saw them was truly beautiful.

weirdly that's why I like wasting time. first song I learned on bass and its also the first song from their older stuff I listened to cause when I started listening to them they were on their hiatus so I only really heard the popular stuff which was recent at the time and I prefer their older stuff now so I think wasting time reminds me of that
