While I really like Longchamp, Kipling is perhaps the king of nylon. Most of their bags are a bit crinkly, which make them look a bit sloppier in many styles. But they have so many types of bags, and they wear so well in the tropics! In Thailand they have a dirt cheap copycat brand that's sold at both Lotus's (formerly Tesco Lotus) and BigC. Most of the bags are horrendous quality, but there are a few models that wear well. I was lucky enough to find a tote that wears really well.
Kipling bags are great. I’ve got a few that have worn amazingly well and still look new.
I’d also like to point out LeSportSac. I’d say the Queen… or princess lol.
I am a man and I have a black nylon “off white” tote bag I got on sale for €250 and I love it, great for carry on or any sort of day trip thing. I took it to pride recently & it was like a portable off-licence (or Liquor store) as I got lugged with bringing everyone’s beer and wine as well as my actual stuff and it didn’t feel like it was digging into my back which is a plus. Nothing worse than bad straps
Love a good Longchamp bag, I have 3 of the LaPliage and love them! I want a red one! Yes the price is great too!!!
Yes, with nylon, it is about the branding. I’ve been buying Longchamp for about 20 years. They wear like iron. Tory Burch is releasing a nylon line. They will have a bag that’s a dupe for the Prada Duette bag for around $250.
Most of my Prada bags are leather but I have two nylon bags and they are heavy, well made with a leather and chain strap. The nylon clutch is a limited edition. Both bags are holding up 10 years later and still look new. They are more solid with better quality than the re-edition Prada bags in my opinion

I love my Prada nylon backpack. It is a great travel bag. The large Longchamp bag I have has held up very well. I think both bags were worth the money.
I love my Longchamp bags and I even got my 24 year old daughter to give it a try. Lol, now you'd think she invented the XS size.

I have 6 nylon bags which I all got on sale haha; 4 Longchamp ones (1 mini backpack, 1 regular backpack, a small crossbody bag and a normal large tote), 1 mini Prada crossbody/pouch (right before they got hot again) and one Kate Spade one. I love nylon because it's lightweigt, because I had back surgery and I don't like carrying heavy bags
I love MZ Wallace bags made of nylon. I bought one on the RealReal and it is amazing quality.
The flap does annoy me a little, but I love the aesthetic of it, so I would not want a Longchamp without it! They are great bags and, IMHO, very luxurious!

Great video Autumn. Longchamp remains my most used carry on bag. I have two of the Neos because I prefer the look. The folding ability of the original is nice though. xoxo
Longchamp is great! The Stoney clover scrunch is a fun nylon option too
They are so good in bad weather and useful if you might need an extra bag while traveling. I have a real one and a copy; both are excellent!

I love my nylon bags especially for traveling! Right now I have 3 longchamps (XS, S, and L), 1 Bric’s (XL), 1 tumi (laptop backpack), 2 Deuters (S and L hiking backpacks)… They’re all great and have lasted me for yearsss. I already let go of my Kiplings but that brand really made me love nylon. I’ve used them since I was a kid.
The only nylon bags left on my wishlist is a foldable backpack but I just don’t like the current look of the le pliage backpack.. I hope they release the triangular shape again. And a belt/adventure bag.. I’m eyejng one from patagonia.
Also, I heard that Longchamp has discontinued the Neo line -- which is a shame as the Neo line offers a crossbody strap option for those particular bags.
Okay ,I thrifted all of mine and have not paid more then $7🇨🇦 🤷♀️ I do really like them. But you win for having more. The only other nylon bags that I have are from Lululemon 🍋 the crossbody festival in 2 sizes
Long champ nylon bag is worth it.I’ve been a long champ using for more than 10 years now and it’s my go to travel accessories
Very informative. TFS! I have a black Prada tote in nylon for about 13 years, and I use the heck out of it. No wear that I can see. A bit wrinkled but if I put a bag organizer in it, it will probably straighten out. However, I think the quality has changed over the past 10 years.
Longchamps is very durable and water resistant . Tumi is also good but not as many sizes and colors .

Love my Le Pliage. I have two in the large size, I always stick one in the bottom of my suitcase when I travel. It's great when we go grocery shopping in Europe, or on a rainy day, when I don't want to risk messing up my handbag. It's also good to have in case we need an extra bag when we are packing on the way home. Not that I would ever need that, of course. ;0)
Maybe look into Portland leather bags, I just discovered them and they should hold up well.

I’ve looked on Poshmark for the Longchamp (not that I can’t afford a new one, but I want it for work, and my job is dirty) and it seems they all have tears on the corner. I actually have the Tory Burch that resembles the longchamp even with the top flap, but it goes beyond with its leather (I think) corners on the bottom. I really like it. Shall I buy a new Longchamp for my dirty job that it’ll just get tossed around or shall I buy a wannabe off amazon?

I have two Longchamp nylon bags. I’m in the fence about them because they spot easily. I have navy and the tan/mink color. I wanted to use them as a laptop bag but they seem delicate. I bought a canvas bag recently. I’ll see if that one is more durable.
Did you know you can spot clean the nylon Longchamp bags with Dawn dish soap? I've rescued more than a few that way.

Especially when they are priced around the same as leather or jacquard bags. When I was younger (in the 2000s) all my grandma would buy was nylon Dooney & Bourke bags.... I could never understand 😂😮💨
