The skin around the eyes is 10 times thinner than the rest of the face, and the skin in the face is 10 times thinner than the rest of the body. Eye cream is created to be more gentle for the thinner skin around the eyes and is supposed to be safer in case you accidentally get it in your eyes. The skin on your bodies is very thick compared to your eyes, so eye cream really wouldn’t be able to do much for your elbow. But always remember to wash your face and moisturize!
I didnt know it was possible for people to not know what these are. Haha. Not making fun of you, just funny because I was thinking about this randomly today and this was such a coincidence XD
The difference between eye cream and regular moisturizer is that the skin around your eyes is a lot more delicate and need a different type of cream/moisturizer for the rest of your face. Eye cream is more formulated for that skin than the rest of your face skin
*Benson puts his hands on eyebrows and hair*: "doesn't it look like your bald?" *Phil joins in* Ahhh man, gotta love Wong Fu humor 😂😂😂😂( Benson your a riot 🤣🤣🤣🤣)
lol I feel like a lot of Asian guys look great clean shaven, but Phil looks great with facial hair haha. Oh also, if you enjoy content like this, feel free to stop by! Hopefully you won't be disappointed. Thanks!
Phil, Chris, and Benson, have you guys ever gone and gotten a professional shave? SOOOO relaxing!! Starts off with a hot towel (hot as in hot enough to feel great but not hot enough to burn) to open up the pores along with a humectant to lubricate the facial hair. Then the warm lather is applied and a straight razor is used. Another hot towel is used to wipe off what lather is left and then facial moisturizer is applied along with an after shave. Shaving at home just doesn't compare!!
Chris I’m on the same boat as you are... I used to hate it but I figured, my hair is important to me and theres no point in complaining so i tried a bunch of styles... my go-to style is an undercut with a 1 on the sides and a natural parting on the right side...
oh hell, I started taking face care seriously in college when I found the enviable baby-butt soft and clear korean skin. Now I have a 6 step routine for mornings, 8 step for night, 11 step twice weekly for "spa nights"..... Jen does 3 and she has better skin than I!? Uuuuuuugghh
As a Blasian, I can relate to the whole “weird wavy” hair thing. The difference for me is that no one knows how to do my hair, so I just straighten it and sometimes wear a cap 🙃
Definitely had to start shaving in 6th grade. Once or twice a week. Um never did moisturizing or eye cream. And always had my mom cut my hair until 11 th grade. So always had the same basic cut.
i'm late to the party. phil... and his story of razor shaping his brows. his expression of "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I was like, "dude, I hope you didn't actually make that face because your whole brow wouldn't been gone right there" lmao
So I’m not a guy or Asian, but I have Chris’ hair problem!! I swam for 7 years and when I started I had fairly straight hair, but now it’s wavy, frizzy curls and the edge of my hairline turns into ringlets whenever it gets wet. It’s super annoying because it’s not straight enough to brush it and wear it down, but not curly enough to just put mousse in it and let it be. I have to straighten or curl it if it’s not up. I feel your pain Chris!
Don't know if it's the same for other countries but in the Dominican Republic guys have been getting their eyebrows clean for a while now. They're a few who don't but I think most of them do and they get it done at the barbers.
I actually pluck my eyebrows on a regular basis (as a guy). I have some weird stragglers growing on the bottom part of my eyebrows that I like to pluck now and then. I only pluck underneath the brows though. Just to clean up the line there. I like the bushy look on top. Not a big fan of straight eyebrows on both the top and bottom. Feels too fake.
i feel it with chris and the hair tho, my hair use to be hella straight and silky but when i was like 10 it started to frizz and became hella wavy and poofed up.
I’ve always used a normal razor in the 10ish years I’ve been shaving. Electric shaves confuse me. I’ve used it once when I crashed at my brothers place and that’s all he had. It took way too long to shave. P.s. I’ve also never used soap or cream. Just water.
Also I love hi Jen stayed pretty quiet and let them talk the whole time lol. I wanted to smack someone when they talked about not moisturizing. I have never in my entire life cleansed my body without putting some sort of moisture on my face after AT LEAST ugh
I know it's like a whole separate topic, but I notice you guys never really feature content related to LGBTQ issues and I just thought it would be interesting to see an Asian American perspective on those things and how they'd factor into this incredibly complex network of issues we face. (Or if you guys have done pieces like those and someone could point me in the right direction that'd be great)
3 FUN-PUNS in 1: All these stories sound like hairy situations! / Some of them were eye-brow raising! / I'm slowly reseeding into a WongFu Weekend. (Feel free to add your own puns. :-)
I think the opposite of what Phil said about only going to Asian barbers might be true too. When I lived in China, I once tried to have my fine, limp hair cut short. I think the hair stylist kept expecting it to stay like he cut it but it would just fall flat against my head. My half Korean nephew has wavy hair, when he has it cut shorter it just sticks out all over, so now he grows it out long and it actually looks decent
Yo Chris! Wavy curly Asian hair crew!!! I had straight hair growin up, but in college I took a smiling class for a whole semester, and then I noticed my hair curling when I grew it! Swimming*
I have found that in some Southeast Asian countries, skincare is treated more like a regular facet of life by a lot of people (including guys)? Go to the doctor, go to the dentist, go to a dermatologist/take care of your skin. Skin is treated as part of the normal understanding of what you should take care of...in whichever fashion works best for your skin. And that's how it should be! Your skin is the largest organ of your body; you should take care of it. I LOVE facial hair - from a bit of scruff to full mountain man. Some guys do look better clean shaven though.
If you use moisturizer that is meant for the face around your eyes, there is a possibility of getting milia (little hard pearl like pimples). Just an FYI. I can help you guys! I’ll give you a guys a facial! I’m an esthetician. 🧖🏽♀️
Im a girl and I don't use moisturizer and anything like that 😂 idk what they do, and i dont care for doing stuff on my face, I find it unnecessary. Washing it in the shower is good enough for me 🤷♀️
The skin around the eyes is 10 times thinner than the rest of the face, and the skin in the face is 10 times thinner than the rest of the body.
Thanks for explaining!
I was so distracted and fascinated by the containers their noodles came in. Never seen that before.
Really? Wow, all the ramen shops in my area, when you get it to-go, it comes in a container like that! How does your ramen come in?
are you even asian
I didnt know it was possible for people to not know what these are. Haha. Not making fun of you, just funny because I was thinking about this randomly today and this was such a coincidence XD
Boy you gotta collect those containers for further use
I get these from the Thai place by my office!
The difference between eye cream and regular moisturizer is that the skin around your eyes is a lot more delicate and need a different type of cream/moisturizer for the rest of your face. Eye cream is more formulated for that skin than the rest of your face skin
Really thought this was gonna be about pubes.
Matthew Castillo I thought they'd go there too. But there's always a chance for a part two on that.
capitanosmaw I’ll keep my fingers crossed
They only started cursing in their videos pretty recently. I don't think they're ready for the pube talks yet lol.
hannah well they need to hurry up! Lol
Yeah me too Matthew Castillo! Still, it is a sensitive topic (for Asians) .. lol No offense!
Asians with superfine/thin hair crew. Hello.
Wesley Chan you have amazing hair and skin... I wanted to hear your routine 😭
Lunch break should be on EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
You should show your skincare routine!!! And yes keep doing more topics like these!!
*Benson puts his hands on eyebrows and hair*: "doesn't it look like your bald?" *Phil joins in*
Ahhh man, gotta love Wong Fu humor 😂😂😂😂( Benson your a riot 🤣🤣🤣🤣)
such a fun topic! hahha would love to see more. its soo funny to see how guys and girls react so differently to those "ordinary" things
Was I the only one who couldn't stop staring at Phil's fry shirt?

I would love to watch these type of topic lunch break videos while procrastinating for exams lol
Let us know what your next exam is and we'll talk about that to help you study!
Phil sounded so sad about his mom not being able to do an asian fade
I enjoyed the topic. Please do more for guys and girls!

Jenn, can you show us or tell us your skincare routine? Can you guys make a skincare/makeup video?
i have such a low tolerance for pain that plucking hair is scary😂
Chris I’m on the same boat as you are... I used to hate it but I figured, my hair is important to me and theres no point in complaining so i tried a bunch of styles... my go-to style is an undercut with a 1 on the sides and a natural parting on the right side...
HAAHAHAH BENSON'S SO HILARIOUS HAHAHAHA
We want more of this I laughed a lot today
Good episode
yay lunch break is here i can finally start eating. i was waiting for you. mission success!😁
I think "Rick" would have a lot to say about this topic. #BringRickBack!
oh hell, I started taking face care seriously in college when I found the enviable baby-butt soft and clear korean skin. Now I have a 6 step routine for mornings, 8 step for night, 11 step twice weekly for "spa nights"..... Jen does 3 and she has better skin than I!? Uuuuuuugghh
Does anyone else find it so satisfying that this video is exactly 14 minutes long
The ramen looks nice... where do u get those frommmm?
More pleaseeee :)
My guy cousin went to get a haircut and since his hair is so thick and coarse the person had to sharpen the scissors after LOOOL
Do a anime version of "POPULAR MOVIES/SHOW WE HAVEN'T SEEN!! - Lunch Break!"
Jenn and her reactions to their comments 😂
As a Blasian, I can relate to the whole “weird wavy” hair thing. The difference for me is that no one knows how to do my hair, so I just straighten it and sometimes wear a cap 🙃
Definitely had to start shaving in 6th grade. Once or twice a week. Um never did moisturizing or eye cream. And always had my mom cut my hair until 11 th grade. So always had the same basic cut.
Next Lunch Break can be a Spa Break for the guys! And yes, this is always a fun topic on this channel. Give us MOAR!
i'm late to the party. phil... and his story of razor shaping his brows. his expression of "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I was like, "dude, I hope you didn't actually make that face because your whole brow wouldn't been gone right there" lmao
Lol oh Benson that bald bit was adorable.
Also, Chris has my vote for best eyebrows of the boys.
eyyyy. thanks. lol
benson's mug is adorable!
It's 1am midnight here, & you guys making me hungry.
I was waiting for the dollar shave club plug 😅
Jenn’s horrified face “why is that so long” 😂😂😂
What's for lunch? It is over 3am here and you guys started me thinking of food!
So I’m not a guy or Asian, but I have Chris’ hair problem!! WHY IS WES NOT ON THIS? We need to know about his skin care routine! 😭😭
At 0:28 I almost thought Phil and Chris had matching shirts: fries and char siu.
What restaurant did you guys get the ramen from?
I actually pluck my eyebrows on a regular basis (as a guy). I have some weird stragglers growing on the bottom part of my eyebrows that I like to pluck now and then. I only pluck underneath the brows though. Just to clean up the line there. I like the bushy look on top. Not a big fan of straight eyebrows on both the top and bottom. Feels too fake.
Neck down? Or neck way way down? 😏 OK NO JK 😂
We didn't go top down 🤣 that would be interesting watching her react to those details 🙈
That ramen looks amazing!
Why do people use soap or cream when using razors? I never used and never cut myself.
I love the thumbnail
This is quite a personal subject xD aha. Like how yall kept it rated G ^__^
i feel it with chris and the hair tho, my hair use to be hella straight and silky but when i was like 10 it started to frizz and became hella wavy and poofed up.
hahha bensons great omg i laughed so much on that pinkys on eyebrows make you look bald hahahahha
I’ve always used a normal razor in the 10ish years I’ve been shaving. Electric shaves confuse me. I’ve used it once when I crashed at my brothers place and that’s all he had. It took way too long to shave.
P.s. I’ve also never used soap or cream. Just water.
I only use soap to shave when i run out of gel and too lazy to go to the store. Not a good shave, soap dries too fast!
Also I love hi Jen stayed pretty quiet and let them talk the whole time lol. I wanted to smack someone when they talked about not moisturizing. I have never in my entire life cleansed my body without putting some sort of moisture on my face after AT LEAST ugh

3 FUN-PUNS in 1: All these stories sound like hairy situations! / Some of them were eye-brow raising! / I'm slowly reseeding into a WongFu Weekend. (Feel free to add your own puns. :-)
Thank you benson for eating your ramen with a spoon! I knew I wasn’t the only one 😂
yeahhhh
you can use eye cream on other parts of your skin. However, it's also a whole more expensive than other cream.
I think the opposite of what Phil said about only going to Asian barbers might be true too. When I lived in China, I once tried to have my fine, limp hair cut short. I actually like this type of topic. LOL
13:47 "The girls"? Isn't Jenn the only girl left in the office? You're going to need a few guests.
Yo Chris! Wavy curly Asian hair crew!!! I had straight hair growin up, but in college I took a smiling class for a whole semester, and then I noticed my hair curling when I grew it!
Swimming*
a smiling class? what class is that? was that an elective?
Christopher Yang lol swimming*
i keep thinking phil has french fries in his ramen but it's just his shirt 😂😂

I'd like to see the guys go through a facial threading session 😆
I'm a dude who doesnt have any sort of skin care routine. Does anyone have any tips they can share?
Yesssssss. 💕💕💕💕💕🤣🤣
I'm surprised this video isn't sponsored by HIMS.
❤❤
0:19 French Fries align with cup
If you use moisturizer that is meant for the face around your eyes, there is a possibility of getting milia (little hard pearl like pimples). Just an FYI.
I can help you guys! I’ll give you a guys a facial! I’m an esthetician. 🧖🏽♀️
If this was a 1 hour thing I would have still watched it
Im a girl and I don't use moisturizer and anything like that 😂 idk what they do, and i dont care for doing stuff on my face, I find it unnecessary. Washing it in the shower is good enough for me 🤷♀️
Should've been sponsored by Dollar Shave Club lol
