As a KC Born. You got the full experience including spotting the skunk. Loved the cyclone Sam portion. That ride is a hidden gem, and has been the same since I was a child.
So glad that you guys are giving my home park some love. Timber Wolf was so much better with its original helix, granted it got rough as hell, but it use to be a coaster that gave you as much laterals as you could handle. If only it was smoother it would be a solid family coaster. Don't mess with our skunks though, they're practically mascots at this point. lol
Timber Wolf's my personal favorite roller coaster at Worlds of Fun. Not too rough for me - I always keep my hands locked onto the handlebar in front of me and stay seated still. I'm glad they replaced the 560-degree helix with a 70-degree banked hairpin turn during the 2017-18 off-season, because the helix was making the ride bumpy and taking away some of the fun, now the ride gets to maintain its speed. They've been re-tracking it over time to provide a smoother ride, and it's their job with just any woodie as time passes by. And I would love to go ride The Beast at Kings Island for these two woodies are ten years apart from each other. I've ridden Prowler a few times, but in the end I don't like Prowler after all. Prowler's lapbars (when compared to Timber Wolf's) are literally gut-wrenching and they weren't very comfy. I did enjoy Zambezi Zinger as a new addition as a spiritual successor to the original all-steel one that was sold to Parque del Café back when I was about 7 1/2 then in the 90s. Mamba has an ultimate thrill experience where you feel like you're climbing a mountain at heights of 205 feet and can see around Kansas City while at the top and then go racing down and all around. I love how it neighbors Timber Wolf should you ride either one. Speaking of Orient Express, I absolutely miss it and was able to ride it back around my 9th birthday then - just one month before the incident that happened and closed it for the rest of the 1999 season until repairs were done. Too bad that incident caused the Orient Express's reliability to wane and that it was too much to maintain anymore. Had the Orient Express been given TLC like the Timber Wolf and other iconic rides at Worlds of Fun have, then the Orient Express would have stayed. I do however enjoy the Spinning Dragons that while it's supposed to be the Orient Express's replacement, it actually sits on the site of where the Fins & Flippers Show (and later divers) used to be; whereas the station house originally for the Orient Express is now the Lore of the Vampire attraction during the Halloween Haunt on weekends around the spooky season when school is in session.
So I was just there 2 weeks ago. I rode Zinger a few times. I definitely grew to like it. I like the low to the ground elements. I was getting almost sick to my stomach after riding only mamba and prowler so it’s a good step down as far as intensity but is a really fun ride! The queue is my favorite of any queue with the the train bridge going by and how you get to stand in the ride basically
Was there this past Sunday and ZZ is one of the best new coasters I’ve ridden in quite some time. Well worth a return trip. Mamba and Patriot gave me their best rides I’ve ever had among numerous visits over the years. Prowler & TW were rough, but not too bad. Definitely an underrated CF park.
Zinger is a great night ride as well. Not as long, but the elements are really enjoyable. Glad to see you at my home park, hoping to visit your’s next month! Excited for I305!
I've never been to this park but have wanted visit it before, but this vlog makes me ~really~ want to go now. What a perfect summer full day visit at what feels like a terrific amusement park, downed rides aside. Plus a fireworks AND drone night show? C'mon, so cool, so classy, how can you not be attracted to what this park has to offer? Thanks Coaster Studios and all! 🤘
I didn’t get to ride much due to it being packed but worlds of fun is pretty meh. Maybe I’m biased cause I always go to SDC and Worlds is my actual home park but it still is fun 🤷
I’m so glad you visited my home park and I’m so glad you got to ride prowler it is so underrated and I’m sorry you didn’t get to ride Zambezi Zinger that is a pain but I’m glad you still had fun and I hope for you to ride Zambezi in the future but I’m glad you visited my home park again you make my heart shine in your videos and it made mine shine even more when you visited my home park keep up the good videos. P.s I was there the day you were there i saw you guys on prowler lol but keep up the good work.
Dang I wish you guys could’ve rode zambe because I am intrigued what you guys would think I am SO HAPPY you guys are giving mamba and prowler the love they deserve, prowler is a phenomenal ride and after getting some of the best rides of my life on it that thing started competing with some elite RMC’s like lightning rod, and mamba is definitely the odd child but is a really solid hyper for a park
The drone show reminds me a lot of the Laser/Fireworks Spectacular that Valleyfair (and other Cedar Fair parks I believe) used to have until 2001. Those shows were PEAK.
Amazing video. U guys are top notch with the editing, and u guys are very fun to watch. Can u and Sarah do another roast battle but for your guys top 25
This is my home park and I just can’t believe y’all think so highly of it. I just went to kings island and recently came home and was just left unfulfilled after every ride. So I find it funny that y’all enjoyed it so much, but I am glad that you did.
Loved my recent visit to Worlds of Fun. Zambini and Patriot were closed, but that didn't deter my friend and I from being impressed by the overall park. It just really exudes charm. The theming is subtle, but nicely done. Loved the landscaping. The flat rides we went on for the most part had impressive cycles, and Mamba/Prowler/Timber Wolf were all really fun. Water rides were also quite rad, i think the log flume was a little rough, but not too bad. I also liked how they actually had shows playing in their theatre. It is crazy how good Mamba is. The no-trims on Mamba really impressed me, and it made that roller coaster rank in my top 20. Prowler reminded me a little of Ravine Flyer and maybe Goldstriker. It was really fun and out of control. Timber Wolf wasn't too rough at all, and there were good ejector pops - now if they'd reduce the trims on that one, i think it would also be a lot better.
Fun park love they still have an enterprise. Staff were not very energetic or happy when we went this year...but valleyfair had similar issues...anyhow love the park for uniqe flats and mamba beats wild thing any day.
It’s because of the tire drives up the lift. Kentucky Kingdom doesn’t run Roller Skater for a few hours after the rain or it’ll roll back down the lift
Looks like a great day, especially some of those shots the public doesn't always get to see :) But regarding Zambezi Zinger being closed 'Because it was raining, the ride is temperamental when it comes to water, the track is wet' - that seems wild, even for a prototype. It's a rollercoaster. and they usually go outside...in the rain. Crazzzyyyyyy if that's why they closed it
8:30 I went to worlds of fun a couple weeks ago and at that exact same food and drink stand there was a raccoon behind the drink machines. It was hilarious because the workers were trying to get it out with random brooms😂😂
Wow I haven’t been to my home park in probably ten years but they’ve really renovated and made it much cleaner plus a new coaster (sorry you didn’t get to ride), and it looks so nice! Cyclone Sam is legit one of the most insane rides I’ve been on lmao. Glad it’s still intense haha. Wouldn’t be WoF without a skunk sighting either! Love your vids doggie
The snakes in the tunnel was definitely an urban legend when I was a kid. Supposedly it originated from someone tossing a rubber snake while on the ride and snowballed from there.
This park is as close a Cedar Fair park gets to Busch Gardens in terms of theming and atmosphere. I really don’t know exactly why WoF doesn’t get the same level of attention or appreciation from enthusiasts. I guess it is somewhat in an isolated part of the country despite the Kansas City area being fairly large.
Probably the fact that 1, none of its rides are particular standouts that get enthusiasts travelling from far out, and 2, the relative lack of investments thus park gets. Zambezi zinger is the first new coaster at the park in a very long time
14:40 - The skunks actually live there and are like... just there everyday super friendly, possibly even trained by wof to keep insects down Edit : Also you guys didnt go to the 50th anniversary museum! They have the original trains for Orient express and a ton of WoF history in there!
So Zambezi Zinger was ours and it got moved over to Colombis. So they redid it in wood for us. Well as i finish watching i see that you seen the picture of when it was here. Honestly we need to get rid of the Timberwolf. We got Prowler and Zinger2 now. Timberwolf usually has no line or is down. ITs way too bumpy. They gotta let it go. Use all that land for something else. Maybe another coaster.
The restraints on Zambezi were not great. Rode a couple times in the back row and both times by the time we hit the final brake, the restraint was tighter and my thigh was pinched. I couldn’t move my leg until they opened the restraint.
Hi Bixby guys, were there the weekend? I decided to go to holiday world. I will be going to world of fun soon. Zambizi is great, but Prowler still has an edge on it, but I've only gotten one ride on zambezi zinger on opening day
On the Mamba you gotta do front seat or last seat. Front seat gives you that view of the drop when it pauses on the top on the hill. The back is a rush. It feels like you are just getting pulled the whole time. Very fast. You dont feel that pause at the top on the hill like you do in the front seat. You start getting pulled as soon as the first part is over the hill
Thank you guys! Just looking at some of the buildings and the walkways, and the way that you explained some of the coasters, brought some fond memories back and made me a little misty 🥹 thanks for covering my home park and basically childhood
Here's hoping that Zambezi zinger increased annual attendance enough for cedar fair to invest in another new rollercoaster with in the next 5 years,... Not holding my breath though... I think a vekoma multi launch themed to the Orient express.
You know you're a themepark music geek when you can spot the Pegasus theme from Europa Park used during the fireworks & drone show. I wonder if they asked Mack for permission? 😅
Ryan at dorney park said steel force is getting the no trims treatment this offseason. There putting in the same computer upgrade mamba got. Gotta preserve these morgan hypers
Honestly I hope that the other Morgan hyper parks notice how well received the mamba changes are this year and apply them to there own parks. Like imagine 2024 starts out with iron menace and a mamba level steel force then wild thing becomes wild as icing on top. Also unrelated but do you think that cedar fair will ever put the steel dragon B&M trains on there Morgan hypers. And if they did do you think they’d be a upgrade or downgrade since you have ridden steel dragon?
Worlds of Fun is an underrated park. Prowler is a fantastic GCI and now that they did some maintenance on Mamba and turned off the trims it has become a fantastic hyper.
Good stuff! It looked like the park was pretty empty. What day of the week and month did y’all go? We are thinking about going to WOF for the first time during fall break. We may drive down to Branson to SDC on the same trip. I haven’t been to either park.
We went to six flags new england and while we were about to go on superman there was a skunk in the tunnel so the ride was closed for like 2 hours but then we got on superman after the skunk escaped
How does Mamba compare to Superman el Ultimo Escape? I just went to six flags Mexico and Superman blew me away. Steel force did not really produce nearly the incredible sense of speed, airtime or laterals. Is Mamba’s airtime more like Superman now that the trims aren’t hitting as hard?
As a KC Born. You got the full experience including spotting the skunk. Loved the cyclone Sam portion. That ride is a hidden gem, and has been the same since I was a child.
The cyclone Sam is a nice ride.
I’ve seen this video maybe three times now and every time I get to the Cyclone Sams section I smile
I’m so glad seeing my home park getting recognition
Nice to finally see you guys get a new coaster this year after the hiatus. RMC Timberwolf anyone?
@@DankPeezy Been saying this forever #WEREWOLF
YES
So glad that you guys are giving my home park some love. Timber Wolf was so much better with its original helix, granted it got rough as hell, but it use to be a coaster that gave you as much laterals as you could handle. If only it was smoother it would be a solid family coaster. Don't mess with our skunks though, they're practically mascots at this point. lol
Timber Wolf needs RMC hybrid'd.
Same
I love the constant mention of American Eagle that kept popping up throughout the video 🤣
Worlds of Fun looks like a fantastic & underrated theme park for Missouri!
So happy you guys finally went to my home park!!! Hope you come back soon!
Loved your review of my home park! I agree with you on Mamba and Prowler, they are great coasters :)

I've been waving the "prowler is underappreciated" flag for years. Glad to see several people realize it's glory the past year or two 😄
Zinger is a great night ride as well. Not as long, but the elements are really enjoyable. Glad to see you at my home park, hoping to visit your’s next month! Excited for I305!
I agree, this park has such an underrated 1-2 punch. Prowler is my favorite GCI and always has been.

Pretty sweet you guys got VIP treatment. Great video blog!
The drone show reminds me a lot of the Laser/Fireworks Spectacular that Valleyfair (and other Cedar Fair parks I believe) used to have until 2001.

I laughed out loud watching the skunks run through the park 🦨 🤣 and I can’t believe how close Sarah got to them!! 🙈😂

Fun park love they still have an enterprise. Staff were not very energetic or happy when we went this year...but valleyfair had similar issues...anyhow love the park for uniqe flats and mamba beats wild thing any day.
Having a ride go down because it rained the other day is not a good sign
It’s because of the tire drives up the lift. Kentucky Kingdom doesn’t run Roller Skater for a few hours after the rain or it’ll roll back down the lift
I was the guy wearing the inter Milan kit, there was a massive rainstorm that morning
It's cuz of the drove tires lift hill
Drive*
LFG Prowler and Mamba!
Timber Wolf is my favorite roller coaster. My first major coaster
That day was really fun… Definitely better than the last time you were here
Patriot is a really pretty ride. Love the paint scheme
I have Renegade, Mystic, and Thunderhead before it. But all 4 are in my top 25, so I love Prowler as well. Amazing amazing ride.

It is a tradition for my high school choir to travel to this place every other year on the first weekend in May!
@11:52 😂😂Yeah... American Eagle is rufffff these days
NICE RIDE CASOTER

Enthusiasts aren't going to live or die for a GCI or two. We want Intamins and RMCs
14:40 - The skunks actually live there and are like... just there everyday super friendly, possibly even trained by wof to keep insects down
Edit : Also you guys didnt go to the 50th anniversary museum! They have the original trains for Orient express and a ton of WoF history in there!
I will always call the Zambezi Zinger the ball crusher and neck breaker 😂😂😂😂 8:13
The Magnum disrespect is real in this one 🤣
I’ve been wondering if you could make a video about BGW deciding to give Lochness getting a refurb
So Zambezi Zinger was ours and it got moved over to Colombis. So they redid it in wood for us. Well as i finish watching i see that you seen the picture of when it was here. 0:07 I don't know why but that's music from plopsaland in the background😂
Thank you guys! Just looking at some of the buildings and the walkways, and the way that you explained some of the coasters, brought some fond memories back and made me a little misty 🥹 thanks for covering my home park and basically childhood
Being able to walk under the coasters like that is so insane
8:30 Jungle jims in Ohio Eastgate has the same exact gorilla statue! But ours is wearing a yellow tshirt that says Harambe 🙏
I wish Wild Thing would get the Mamba treatment, it would greatly improve Valleyfair’s lineup.
Whenever you guys return for Zambezi Zinger, you should do a video comparing the 2 to determine which one is the better coaster
Cyclone Sam will forever be my favorite flat rise ever.
Here's hoping that Zambezi zinger increased annual attendance enough for cedar fair to invest in another new rollercoaster with in the next 5 years,... Not holding my breath though... I think a vekoma multi launch themed to the Orient express.
The music used in the droneshow was taken from Pegasus at Europa-Park
Hopefully I'll be making my second attempt to visit this park for the first time this Saturday 😁😁😁
I feel like this is something GCI should have anticipated. I know its a prototype but i would think engineers would plan for rain to happen lol.
You know you're a themepark music geek when you can spot the Pegasus theme from Europa Park used during the fireworks & drone show. I wonder if they asked Mack for permission? 😅
Hmmm, something doesn't add up here. "Patriot has a really long line" proceeds to ride an empty train?
Ryan at dorney park said steel force is getting the no trims treatment this offseason. There putting in the same computer upgrade mamba got. Gotta preserve these morgan hypers

Welcome to the set of "the last of us"
Good stuff! It looked like the park was pretty empty. What day of the week and month did y’all go?
We are thinking about going to WOF for the first time during fall break. We may drive down to Branson to SDC on the same trip. I haven’t been to either park.
When i went on timberwolf it was a really good layout, but it hurt like hell
We went to six flags new england and while we were about to go on superman there was a skunk in the tunnel so the ride was closed for like 2 hours but then we got on superman after the skunk escaped
14:41 dude my sister and I quote this on a daily basis
Prowler is goated. People have no idea what they're missing
I did the prowle it was fast also tell me if it's a good first big coaster
When do yall be coming here.
The skunks love Worlds of Fun. They are the parks unofficial mascot.
Mamba recently turned off the mid course which is why it feels so much better than you remember
AYYYYY... Shout out to my bestie, Mackenzie!!! :)
OMG I saw that same skunk
14:24 (Special guest enters the room)
LOOK HAVING FUN
Timberwolf needs to be RMC’d into werewolf. We need our biggest thrill ride yet. RMC or big launch coaster is needed.
Valleyfair yet?
MY HOME PARKKKKKK
How come you were the only ones on Patriot?
Dang so close yet so far to my birthday 🥲
That was a chance WipeOut, like the one at Knott’s.
Psyclone Sams > Zambezi Zinger - Yall went on the ride of rides.
The star of the show were the day skunks though FTW
I knew that spiral lift would be an issue. Paying homage doesn't matter if it doesn't work consistently.
Magnum is still a top tier hyper
I prefer Talon over Patriot especially with the intensity of the forces. Mamba is top tier and extremely underrated!
Zinger rides a lot like prowler in my opinion. Very fun
Magnum at home
Refractured my ribs on a Prowler night ride
4:12 so you're telling me this ride was much better than you reMAMBA'd?
It’s the same skunk, seen three times
Seriously rain shut the whole ride down?
Did you not her them explain it
