The base torid grenade is actually better against acolytes than the beam, so make sure to deactivate incarnon when the annoying assasins are ganking your missions.
Against Acolytes the best thing to go for is a good crit weapon with high direct damage. My number one is the Burston Prime Incarnron but of couurse there are a lot of other viable options ;) Weapons that deal a lot of small DoTs usually don't work because Acolytes con only have a maximum of 4 stacks of each element. If you are more into melees then I can recommend the Hate or Harmony built into a strong heavy attack because the slashed they deal are unreal and tick down the Acolyte really quickly ;)
Another torid build what a surprise! I always used my torid shooting on the floor! Now I can shoot on the floor without feeling stupid! (Total and very rough sarcasm for this click bait 👌)
Complete EVERY mission on normal star chart (the mission that have blue highlight) and then you can head to Steel Path. But i recommend you play slow and have loadout that can overkill lv60+ in one shot before go to SP or else you may only tickle them.
If they want to make the stug good for incarnon, then set it to build from hits (stronger shot = more gauge filled) and have it turn into a slime thrower / bile launcher. It could do damage outright and whatever is coated has a dot puddle left behind that lingers for a set time limit or lasts longer the more enemies that die in it. If they did go the nuke route, have it require a full gauge to be used, you get one charged blob out of it, and when it connects with a surface (enemy, terrain, ally, projectile, etc.) the nuke goes off and it hits every enemy within 300 - 500 meters…. kind of like the Fomorian ship purge radius or the Exploiter Orb / Profit Taker. Maybe have it hit and enemies with shield guard survive the initial blast, but the fallout and residual dots burn through them quickly. If enemies have to be hit in precise spots (E.G. Thumpers, certain bosses), main blasts hits all spots equally and after damage still applies.
If I wanna be super nitpicky about it I would say normal Phantasma is a lil bit better due to the higher Riven Disposition while not loosing out on any meaningful stats :P But in general, the Phantasmas are absoulte units! They inflict so much status, it's unreal! :O I think they are already in my top Shotgun List but I might think about giving them a solo spotlight, too ;)
I must be one of the few who does not care for a Torid. Why? Because its incarnon beam form ends too quickly. Then you gotta recharge and recharge, and activate the beam again, just to be done after 10 seconds MAX. I much more prefer abilities paired with melees instead of guns, as they dish MUCH more DPS than that.
@@Nosf0078 I am aware. This comment of mine kinds of exagerates things for the sake of humour, of course. A full beam can last like 20 seconds before the Incarnon mode runs out. Its just that I personally do not enjoy having to recharge the weapon that many times. I'm lean more towards melee, swords and polearms.
@@MauMenzori I agree, but what makes the Torid special compared to other incarnons is I feel like I don’t have to activate the incarnon much every mission, but also the Torid is unique by not needing headshots. The Torid max takes 3 shots to charge incarnon, and sometimes I’m sure I even get it in 1. The base form is also actually powerful and sorta aoe so it’s just like the best and most convenient incarnon. Even in steel path enemies die in less than a second
You don’t need armor strip for the direct damage build even when I’m using it without roar (I don’t use faction mods) it destroys steel path. Admittedly I do have a riven but I have also played without it and never felt like I needed hunter munitions build
12:17 Is Galvanized Scope really good for this? I would assume you can't get headshots with the AOE or beam chains. Or do you just use it for that little bit more crit chance from headshotting your primary target?
This makes no sense to me. Why would you not ideally run multishot. Yes you don't get the benefit from the extra beam chains from the AOE, But if you're ultimately targeting the enemy you are shooting at that does not matter at all. The rest is just supplemental damage and status. Overall you will get more damage from multishot.
Just got only you know if you use blast on it’s pre incarnon the pops from the status will fill the incarnon bar . I have a viral/hunters build and that one and I prefer that specifically because I can shot the lob into a mob of enemies and it will fill without any more shots, you’ll hear the pop and watch the bar fill up and the dots on the enemies
if u oversimplified it. the beam cannot go full circle back to starting point. your cross hair will always be starting point and 3 meters around the point of impact ( invis aoe ) assume there is 6 enemies case 1 : if you shot enemy no.1 directly, it can chain up to enemies number 6 ( spread out enemies, assuming all enemies are withing range of aoe of the beam link ) case 2 : if you shot the floor/wall/etc, and the aoe area touch the enemy no.1, it can spread to enemy no.5 ( the wall/floor is the "enemy number 1 in this case ) case 3: if enemy no 1 and 2 touch the aoe (case 1, with crosshair pointing to no.1) all 6 enemies is in the vicinity of the link, beam from number 1 can chain to number 2 3 4 5 6 , and beam from number 2 can chain to number 1 3 4 5 6 case 4: if enemy no 1 and 2 is both touch the aoe ( case 2 ), and all 6 enemies is in the vicinity of the link, beam from number 1 can chain to number 2 3 4 5 , and beam from number 2 can chain to number 1 3 4 5 ( no. 6 is not damage since the link is maxed at 5 link, and the walls is "enemy no.1") case 1&3 is more recommended because initial damage from your direct beam from your weapon resulting in full damage, and the damage fall of the further you go down each link case 2&4 is where the damage fall off since you actually shot walls/floor with the "full damage" from your weapon, and the invis aoe is already cut down by X% since the wall/floor is treated as enemies #1 example of the damage ( the damage is not actually the actual damage reduction %, i simplify it so its easier to understand ) case 1 : (1) 1000 - (2) 900 -(3) 800 - (4) 700 -(5) 600 - (6) 500 case 2 : (the wall) 1000 - (1) 900 - (2) 800 - (3) 700 - (4) 600 - (5) 500 for case 3 and 4 for the damage actually vary from the distance of each enemies, the shorter distance between link is always triggered first, so its just a bunch of mumbo jumbo, you get the gist of it. sorry for the long comment, i hope this helps and please correct me if i get something wrong tldr: bigger aoe (firestorm mod) bigger area to hit enemies with initial aoe from the beam
i play hunter muntions with saryn so I have toxin corrosive viral and bleed procs and with roar I get my faction buff. i have a riven with crit chance crit dmg and status chance with neg mag size so my torid ends up with around 270% crit chance and like 11x crit dmg. I've been consistently hitting 1m+ per hit cant complain with this loadout.
@@sheepify3104 i have my riven/primed firestorm/ galvanized aptitude/serration/cryo rounds/ critical delay/hunter munitions/vital sense/ vigilante supplies/ primary blight. gives me 238%cc 11.2x cd and 113% sc aswell as arcane avenger with combat discipline aura cause my cc base to go from 49% to 94% which causes all of my dmg to be red crit tier 1-2. Torid base form isn’t that bad, I can take it quite easily into Netra Cells for example and have it do well. Just a little slow but you can compensate ridiculous damage for some more QOL.
Torid Incarnon base form, or Torid without incarnon adapter at all? Because the moment you install the adapter, it gets a boost to base stats, elevating it from a fairly terrible weapon to a decent one, and the incarnon only elevates it to the monster it is known as.
@MHBlacky_ENG + crit chance, + electric, - fire rare The last one sucks but doesn't seem to affect performance too much. Still probably going to reroll again.
I don't mind using meta weapons, I don't use torid however because it feels "Too meta" I actually like Ruvox a lot. It's such a unique melee weapon and the new Galvanised mods are OP on it
My riven for torid gives critical chance, critical dmg and cold, so I made 3 builds: 1. Viral 2. Blast + corrosive 3. Pure Crit + Some of the set mods that increase the critical dmg with 20% chance (ex: vigilante armaments), with mods from the companion. It took me quite a while to make my builds and I still don't understand why my dmg isn't bigger following my calculations. Of the 3 i like the blast + corrosive, I have a lot of multishot and I believe a lot of the dmg is not displayed and it's the build that kills the enemy the fastest.
This sounds like a super cool Riven :D About your calculations seeming off, maybe the reason is that you're going for a lot of Multishot since that only works on enemies that you hit directly ;)
I'm still a little sad they made torid's incarnon mode so strong, taking away its identity. At least we still have two other slightly different stinky meatballs we can stick to enemies.
Garuda build, embers subsumed replaces her 2nd and put healing flame augment on and 5 taught forged purple shards for crit multiplier and keep her base energy at 500+ u get the buff and then build her for whatever else u want it's so good
DE: "We're nerfing AoE weapons so people don't abuse them so much". Also DE: Introduce Incarnon weapons, some of which have the best AoE capabilities in the game and basically have infinite ammo. Amazing. I fear the day when my beloved Dual Toxocysts (the most powerful weapon in the game right now, and I will die on that hill) will be nerfed.
@@helloyu6270 no, I use Deadhead. Also, just mostly crit and multishot mods with a couple of galvanized mods and corrosive 60/60s. This thing literally oneshots lvl 160 steel path eximi when stacked, while having fire rate faster than mesa's 4 on full speed. Aaand ricocheting to nearby enemies. It melts archons in mere seconds.
Didn't someone posted his multiple hr test on how firestorm doesn't work with the Incarnon AoE? Or am I just having bad memories? So what is it? Does it work or does it not work?
TL;DR of that video, Firestorm doesn't increase the max number of enemies Torid can chain to (which was the popular theory at the time). However it *does* increase the the AoE of the beam, aka the "search radius" for the next target in the chain, therefore allowing it to chain to targets further away and potentially increasing the overall damage output. So it's probably worth having.
At this point, I just need a weapon capable of one-shotting or dealing heavy damage to bosses, like a level 5 Lich, an Archon, or any enemy considered a boss. As for clearing out mobs, there are plenty of other ways to handle that.
That's a fair point. When it comes to the big bosses, I like the 3 original Incarnon guns (Phenmor/Felarx/Laetum) because of their +2000% DMG Bonus, the Burston Prime Incarnon because of its insane Crit DPS and the Hate/Harmony into heavy attacks because their bleeds are unreal :D
I used blast + corr (overframe 1. ninjase build) and it worked nice, on every faction. Why are you not using Multishot? I dont see the advantage of Firestorm in my testing. I prefer something like Vile Acceleration instead of Firestorm.
It's a set rotation of weapons, you can pick two but it changes every week, all you have to do is wait till the Torid is available, run the circuit and you got it 👍
Hey @MHBlacky I did some testing with another HM build on my torrid that I think may be better then the one you recommended actually. (For testing purposes I went to steel path with a wisp build set up as my frame, 0 armor strip or faction mods at play) Im running both Galvanized Aptitude, and chamber, along with HM, cryo rounds, vital sense, critical delay and Shred for the firerate. Try this out for a HM build and see what you think! I think it may be better. Yes it drops the primed firestorm but it makes up for in in raw damage.
Hey, thank you for sharing! :D Yeah, as I also mentioned in the vid, with the Torid being so crazy strong, it's pretty difficult to compare time to kill on different Builds... It's just kinda instant every time xD About your Build, I can imagine it would be stronger on the one Enemy-Chain that is connected to the guy you're directly shooting at because for those enemies Multishot from Galv. Chamber works. That's the main difference between our Builds and I think both are viable in their own way ;) For fire rate I would not recommend Shred though since Punch Through does unfortunately not work on the Torid. So better go with Vile Acceleration or Speed Trigger (if you don't feel like sacrificing DMG) ;) Either way, on my HM Build, I could get the Prime for Cryo Rounds. I was just too lazy to put in another Forma xD Thank you for sharing your Build :D
I found that the base form is very strong agents single targets, I mainly use the gun on My saryen Gloom swapped with 4, with her Toxen Dmg augment modded for PS, Duration and range. Torid With Megnetic bc of toxic lash and toxen dmg to boost it further and the proc hits like a trucj

The base torid grenade is actually better against acolytes than the beam, so make sure to deactivate incarnon when the annoying assasins are ganking your missions.
Same thing about thraxes?
@TheNerd4565 Basically, any tanky target takes more damage from the clouds
@@TheNerd4565 Nah thraxes get melted by the beam. They're not that special.
Hey do you think you could make a video about weapons to deal with acylothes?
(Total and very rough sarcasm for this click bait 👌)
builds start at 11:02
I am wrong about most things in life, so I do not doubt the title.
Hahahaha Bro, isn't that the same for all of us? :D
If you want to be funny, use kullervo with torid, use his 3 to damage link and then use torid, you will quickly block the screen with damage numbers
Do i have to run steelpath of the circuit? How can i start the steel path?
Gotta complete the complete star chart to unlock steel path
Complete EVERY mission on normal star chart (the mission that have blue highlight) and then you can head to Steel Path. But i recommend you play slow and have loadout that can overkill lv60+ in one shot before go to SP or else you may only tickle them.
You can also buy it with plat from the guy that puts them on the weapons
Torid, from it's humble origin as a toxic grenade that kills nothing into an Origin System greatest menace that shoots death laser beam.
Hahaha I'm still hoping for the Stug xD
@MHBlacky_ENG for the stug....The Stug.....maybe a nuke packed inside the glue ingredients?
What are your thoughts on the phantasma prime and is good enough to get it's own vid?
If I wanna be super nitpicky about it I would say normal Phantasma is a lil bit better due to the higher Riven Disposition while not loosing out on any meaningful stats :P
But in general, the Phantasmas are absoulte units! They inflict so much status, it's unreal! :O I think they are already in my top Shotgun List but I might think about giving them a solo spotlight, too ;)
its more of a beam weapon than shotgun
My torid has 200% crit and a 10x+ multiplier.
I love rivens.
This ❤
I feel like you are using Torid wrong, Torid lasts way over than 10seconds for me and i just need to hit 4 or 5 times to fully recharge the incarnon.
Imagine a torid build video and then the video about energy tanking right after :D
Hahaha YT Algorithm doing its thing :P
You don’t need armor strip for the direct damage build even when I’m using it without roar (I don’t use faction mods) it destroys steel path. Admittedly I do have a riven but I have also played without it and never felt like I needed hunter munitions build
Anything below lvl 300 for sure doesn't need armor strip. The Torid just melts through it :D
isnt duviri SP only availabvle when you finished every mission on every planet?
once you unlock SP yeah
Yes, steel path as a whole requires you to complete every node on the star chart except for the jordis golum and the mutilus alad v
Yes, unfortunateely for SP Duviri you'll have to have Steel Path unlocked the regular way :/
12:17 Is Galvanized Scope really good for this? I would assume you can't get headshots with the AOE or beam chains. Or do you just use it for that little bit more crit chance from headshotting your primary target?
This makes no sense to me. Why would you not ideally run multishot. Yes you don't get the benefit from the extra beam chains from the AOE, But if you're ultimately targeting the enemy you are shooting at that does not matter at all. The rest is just supplemental damage and status. Overall you will get more damage from multishot.
Yeah, there is absolutely zero reason to remove multishot.
All i know is i cant aim with it because there are to many dmg numbers on my screen when i use it.
Haha petition to have dmg number opacity
Torid is the primary equivalent of a slam build. Fight me.
Yes, that was something I've also noticed and it's really neat :D
So from what i understand only the starting link enemy can't be link again and the other can be link again?
if u oversimplified it. the beam cannot go full circle back to starting point.
your cross hair will always be starting point and 3 meters around the point of impact ( invis aoe )
assume there is 6 enemies
case 1 : if you shot enemy no.1 directly, it can chain up to enemies number 6 ( spread out enemies, assuming all enemies are withing range of aoe of the beam link )
case 2 : if you shot the floor/wall/etc, and the aoe area touch the enemy no.1, it can spread to enemy no.5 ( the wall/floor is the "enemy number 1 in this case )
case 3: if enemy no 1 and 2 touch the aoe (case 1, with crosshair pointing to no.1) all 6 enemies is in the vicinity of the link, beam from number 1 can chain to number 2 3 4 5 6 , and beam from number 2 can chain to number 1 3 4 5 6
case 4: if enemy no 1 and 2 is both touch the aoe ( case 2 ), and all 6 enemies is in the vicinity of the link, beam from number 1 can chain to number 2 3 4 5 , and beam from number 2 can chain to number 1 3 4 5 ( no. 6 is not damage since the link is maxed at 5 link, and the walls is "enemy no.1")
case 1&3 is more recommended because initial damage from your direct beam from your weapon resulting in full damage, and the damage fall of the further you go down each link
case 2&4 is where the damage fall off since you actually shot walls/floor with the "full damage" from your weapon, and the invis aoe is already cut down by X% since the wall/floor is treated as enemies #1
example of the damage ( the damage is not actually the actual damage reduction %, i simplify it so its easier to understand )
case 1 : (1) 1000 - (2) 900 -(3) 800 - (4) 700 -(5) 600 - (6) 500
case 2 : (the wall) 1000 - (1) 900 - (2) 800 - (3) 700 - (4) 600 - (5) 500
for case 3 and 4 for the damage actually vary from the distance of each enemies, the shorter distance between link is always triggered first, so its just a bunch of mumbo jumbo, you get the gist of it.
sorry for the long comment, i hope this helps and please correct me if i get something wrong
tldr: bigger aoe (firestorm mod) bigger area to hit enemies with initial aoe from the beam
i play hunter muntions with saryn so I have toxin corrosive viral and bleed procs and with roar I get my faction buff. i have a riven with crit chance crit dmg and status chance with neg mag size so my torid ends up with around 270% crit chance and like 11x crit dmg. I've been consistently hitting 1m+ per hit cant complain with this loadout.
Which build did you use? And which mod did you replace for your riven? Thanks homie.
I also have all tau green shards 1 for corrosive stack and rest for toxin dmg
I main nidus and hildryn (400% ability strength), so I use a blast toxin build and either group enemies or mass defense strip and nuke
Was lucky to roll a loveky Riven for it. CC, MS, Dam with Neg Projectile Speed. With Terminal Velocity plus Swift Deluiverance, its fine.
Torid base form isn’t that bad, I can take it quite easily into Netra Cells for example and have it do well. Just a little slow but you can compensate ridiculous damage for some more QOL.
Torid Incarnon base form, or Torid without incarnon adapter at all?
Because the moment you install the adapter, it gets a boost to base stats, elevating it from a fairly terrible weapon to a decent one, and the incarnon only elevates it to the monster it is known as.
can we get that revenant fashion?
My riven for torid aged like a fine wine :)
Uuuh, happy to hear that :D
What you got on it? ;)
@MHBlacky_ENG + crit chance, + electric, - fire rare
The last one sucks but doesn't seem to affect performance too much. Still probably going to reroll again.
I use toxin with blast along with arcane blight. Armor strip? No need for that, just go nuts
He's cooking
Just spent 170p on primary blight, seems more consistent than my old build, but doesn't reach the same heights. Do you use galv scope on yours?
@@tonson5214 yes and an almost perfect riven that helps alot
@@justemy7746 I have a firerate,multishot,heat -zoom

I have a riven with cc cd ms -zoom and compared to a non riven build you dont need a riven tbh but the riven is SUPER NICE
I don't mind using meta weapons, I don't use torid however because it feels "Too meta"
I actually like Ruvox a lot. It's such a unique melee weapon and the new Galvanised mods are OP on it
Have u tested If afflictions proc on impale?
I really enjoy latron incarnon. Probably because I haven’t went out of my way and get the torid incarnon
Oh there's nothing wrong with the Latron. It's super cool and it makes big boom. Also one of my favourites :D
In the last 3 days i found out that the Steflos is op in some situations or with some frames 😂 now i rebuild all my forgotten weapons.
Pointers or link to build for Steflos?
Latron Prime is my favorite
My riven for torid gives critical chance, critical dmg and cold, so I made 3 builds:
1. Viral
2. Blast + corrosive
3. Pure Crit
+
Some of the set mods that increase the critical dmg with 20% chance (ex: vigilante armaments), with mods from the companion.
It took me quite a while to make my builds and I still don't understand why my dmg isn't bigger following my calculations.
Of the 3 i like the blast + corrosive, I have a lot of multishot and I believe a lot of the dmg is not displayed and it's the build that kills the enemy the fastest.
This sounds like a super cool Riven :D
About your calculations seeming off, maybe the reason is that you're going for a lot of Multishot since that only works on enemies that you hit directly ;)
I'm still a little sad they made torid's incarnon mode so strong, taking away its identity. At least we still have two other slightly different stinky meatballs we can stick to enemies.
Garuda build, embers subsumed replaces her 2nd and put healing flame augment on and 5 taught forged purple shards for crit multiplier and keep her base energy at 500+ u get the buff and then build her for whatever else u want it's so good
Sounds cool! I'll keep that in the back of my mind ;)
Thanks for sharing ^^
DE: "We're nerfing AoE weapons so people don't abuse them so much".
Also DE: Introduce Incarnon weapons, some of which have the best AoE capabilities in the game and basically have infinite ammo. Amazing.
I fear the day when my beloved Dual Toxocysts (the most powerful weapon in the game right now, and I will die on that hill) will be nerfed.
Most incarnons are fine, Torid is the only one that is broken imo, because of how easy it is to charge and it has the best aoe clear in the game
How do you build the dual toxs? Do you use secondary encumber?
The most powerful weapon is copium
@@helloyu6270 no, I use Deadhead. Also, just mostly crit and multishot mods with a couple of galvanized mods and corrosive 60/60s.
This thing literally oneshots lvl 160 steel path eximi when stacked, while having fire rate faster than mesa's 4 on full speed. Aaand ricocheting to nearby enemies. It melts archons in mere seconds.
Didn't someone posted his multiple hr test on how firestorm doesn't work with the Incarnon AoE? Or am I just having bad memories? So what is it? Does it work or does it not work?
There was someone who mad a details video on how firestorm work with the torrid
TL;DR of that video, Firestorm doesn't increase the max number of enemies Torid can chain to (which was the popular theory at the time). However it *does* increase the the AoE of the beam, aka the "search radius" for the next target in the chain, therefore allowing it to chain to targets further away and potentially increasing the overall damage output. So it's probably worth having.
Base Torid has some actual nice damage, tho.
I like using viral and heat with the status damage mod on and also with roar my heat procs do millions in 10-20 heat procs plus some armor strip
At this point, I just need a weapon capable of one-shotting or dealing heavy damage to bosses, like a level 5 Lich, an Archon, or any enemy considered a boss. As for clearing out mobs, there are plenty of other ways to handle that.
Phenmor is good for that.
Felarx is that weapon
That's a fair point. When it comes to the big bosses, I like the 3 original Incarnon guns (Phenmor/Felarx/Laetum) because of their +2000% DMG Bonus, the Burston Prime Incarnon because of its insane Crit DPS and the Hate/Harmony into heavy attacks because their bleeds are unreal :D
Punch through works on Tenet Glaxion plus you don’t have to transform it. I prefer it over Torid.
Haven't tried it on the Glax. Thanks for letting us know! I'll give it a shot ;)
@ heat Glaxion with a toxin + cold riven for viral does insane damage but you gotta be insanely lucky to get the right roll
I used blast + corr (overframe 1. ninjase build) and it worked nice, on every faction. Why are you not using Multishot? I dont see the advantage of Firestorm in my testing. I prefer something like Vile Acceleration instead of Firestorm.
how do you get more rewards to choose from in the circuit
It's a set rotation of weapons, you can pick two but it changes every week, all you have to do is wait till the Torid is available, run the circuit and you got it 👍

Honestly it's hilarious that the most efficient way to play Warframe is to switch the damage numbers off entirely xD
Hey @MHBlacky I did some testing with another HM build on my torrid that I think may be better then the one you recommended actually.
(For testing purposes I went to steel path with a wisp build set up as my frame, 0 armor strip or faction mods at play)
Im running both Galvanized Aptitude, and chamber, along with HM, cryo rounds, vital sense, critical delay and Shred for the firerate.
Try this out for a HM build and see what you think! I think it may be better. Yes it drops the primed firestorm but it makes up for in in raw damage.
Hey, thank you for sharing! :D
Yeah, as I also mentioned in the vid, with the Torid being so crazy strong, it's pretty difficult to compare time to kill on different Builds... It's just kinda instant every time xD
About your Build, I can imagine it would be stronger on the one Enemy-Chain that is connected to the guy you're directly shooting at because for those enemies Multishot from Galv. Chamber works. That's the main difference between our Builds and I think both are viable in their own way ;)
For fire rate I would not recommend Shred though since Punch Through does unfortunately not work on the Torid. So better go with Vile Acceleration or Speed Trigger (if you don't feel like sacrificing DMG) ;)
Either way, on my HM Build, I could get the Prime for Cryo Rounds. I was just too lazy to put in another Forma xD
Thank you for sharing your Build :D
@@MHBlacky_ENG Ye! Just thought id share another potential build!! Love your vid btw!
