Any day with a new Bowen tutorial is a good day!
One of the hardest if not the hardest tables ever created. I finally beat the whole thing after 3 years. Amazing game never the less.
That Horde MB was one of the best Pinball things I have ever seen. Wow!

The sweet mechanical sounds are important in a pinball table.

The deal with the X. every two walkers you kill you will light an "X" at an inlane. This is a multiplier for one shot. you can switch which inlane it's on. lit Xes stack, without any known limit.
You want to use your X on a high scoring shot.

I really like the Dialed- In and Kiss and Star Trek tutorials where you explained each mode and the shots for them.
I got a little lost on this one. What is the X? How did you get Barn started when you had Prison Yard going? How'd you get 2x playfield? Do I do CDC first or drop targets first? Once you start CDC you keep hitting the CDC ramp?
Yes, thank you. This tutorial is not clear at all. He says "make so-and-so" shot, but that isn't any help if he doesn't explain which shot that actually is. He says "do so-and-so" but doesn't explain how.
Great tutorial for those that want to see why the game is such a blast.
I have my horde settings a bit harder so they move in a lot faster.
Also the shots for a multikill in the different modes a bit more difficult so Horde isnt that easy to get to.

My local arcade used to have one of these. I could never really handle it; I kept bombing out before I even finished one of the lane modes, but I had a lot of fun just slaying zombies for whatever points I could get.

Does he ever even explain how to get bloodbath started besides "these drop targets are important" or w.e . how many times do you shoot them, is that all it takes or do you have to hit the mall and then head around for something to activate it? So many questions!
I wonder if the table is balanced differently at my home arcade. When the ball drips out of the upper right side, it tends to go straight down the middle, leading to a lot of short games.
Ok! new to learning pinball rules, not all that new to pinball. Will somebody who knows please tell me what the "X" Bowen is referring to?

You did not misplay CDC, the right ramp registers by itself when the ball hits the exit above the inlane.
Awesome Pinball Wizard, are you just as good on digital pinball like Zen Pinball?
This should help a ton. One question though, how do you know how much the X will multiply your next shot? Does it use your bonus multiplier?

Newest code 1.6 makes it a lot harder to light multikills and get to Horde.

UA-cam adds these. They decide what ratio each video will have, then just add (usually down) votes to maintain that ratio. This explains why you never see 200 (or higher) to 1 likes to dislikes, nor 1 to 10 (or worse). If they didn't do this, some videos would have 100,000 to 1 ratios, and everyone would only watch those videos. Welcome to 21st century deception.

they just put that game in the dive pinball bar I go to a few months ago and ive had some luck on it,its a great game even though I had better luck on the supranos game they have, i got over 555,000,ooo and knocked every one off the high score board!!!

I have both of those machines and they are my two favorite pins and the only 2 in my collection that don't get swapped and sold, both very good games, TWD = hard as hell fast brutal game. LOTR is easier for average players and beginners than twd as it has several easy to obtain multiballs and fun straitforward modes however it has an insanely deep ruleset that leads to valinor multiball that entices wizards and is currently ranked #5 of all time on pinside. walking dead is like #89 or something.
A lot of the games of the LOTR era have ridiculously deep rule sets the three that come to mind are LOTR, WPT, and TSPP. The ladder of which has probably one of the hardest to obtain wizard modes in pinball history. Don't me wrong current games still have deep rules and lofty goals to get wizard but nothing like they were 10 or so years ago.

My favorite game, I'm getting close to beating bowen's score! its gonna happen, click on my youtube page and there is a vid of me getting 692 million on this game, also 10 or so other high score videos from a variety of games, the other day i watched bowen's demo man tutorial and he scores a solid 6 billion but i put in alittle work and scored 8.1 billion and no i don't cheat or use 5 ball if you think i speak lies go watch the damn video. don't be satisfied with 10%!! he makes these vids so we do have a chance at beating some of these scores.....and when you finally have your day when the sun is shining on your ass and you watch a bowen vid and beat his score afterward you just feel like a wizard i know i do, bowen is the man for sure.
I don't know especially on youtube I know a guy got 800 million on that game He won a pinball contest when he was 14 in 1980 in Australia. You got to watch these people who big note themselves a bit I think bowen is. I get very wary with people these days you can't trust anyone.
Be a man and take that free play off the machine, use your machine for a change bank,lol how did the replay get up to 80 if you are so bad, it starts at twenty and I was so bad it dropped to nine something, lol!
This is easily the worst of these tutorials I've seen. He says "do so-and-so" but doesn't explain what that actually entails. This tutorial seems to assume a lot of knowledge that, if we knew, we wouldn't need a tutorial. "To play CDC well you want to make the other shots" What other shots!? And how did you start CDC? Just from shooting the ramp? "Use your X (axe??) for the final shot". What are you talking about??
an underwhelming show leads to underwhelming game which leads probably the most boring wizard mode I've ever seen.
