- I hope someone comes up with what yesterdays tooth originated from. We tried looking up a few last night but no match so far. Maybe a veterinarian would know? or a dentist?

I had an experience in 2010 with my late husband. We told no one due to his career and security clearances. It was late summer, NW VA., we were on our evening walk around 9pm. Our community is surrounded by trees and across the road from us is all woods. Our walking path is between the two. The houses in our neighborhood backlit the woods and path. About 10 minutes into our walk we looked at each other and asked “do you feel that?” A panicked feeling came over us like we should leave immediately. Then a putrid smell made me nauseous. As we turned to exit quickly, to our right we saw the silhouette of very tall, huge human shaped figure at least 7-8 feet tall! As we hurried down the path, from behind we hear heavy footsteps and saw an obvious bf walk across the road into the deep woods, then plowing through it like a speeding train. We hauled ass home.
We were up the rest of the night in shock and disbelief. I continuously peaked through the curtains to make sure it hadn’t followed us home. Did that pretty much for the next week or so.
We were already believers. Just never expected to actually see one. But once you do it is a life changing experience. We stopped taking our evening walks after that.

See my note yesterday. Carnassial tooth from a canine. Upper 4th premolar. 4th tooth behind the fang. Largest upper side tooth. Difficult to extract, so perhaps the upper jaw was crushed. I am a vet. Have extracted many of these. I imagine any canine specie would have these. Can't tell for sure how big the dog was. I will try sending a photo to your email, as UA-cam comments won't let me.

Love your intro with the plane and the music to my ears of the engine running. Seeing your gear and all your wonderful scenery brings me back to my childhood. Those were good times when I was able to spend time in base camp. Watching the plane skim the tree tops and land on the lake dropping off supplies or a hunter.

Watched the documentary the other day, " the Delphi murders". These teens were found, but talking about evil people out there. The documentary seems to think that there were more then one suspect, acting out some very disturbing behavior.
I have been trying to follow this as well, but am not the most informed. I have not seen that documentary but read up on several reddit forums. There are so many mistakes law enforcement has made, and so many things that do not make sense. Many people were either cleared or not investigated which is baffling. Somehow they are trying to pin this all on one guy with a wife and daughter, but no criminal record. It just doesn't make sense. Supposedly he confessed, but I don't see how one guy could do all this. Also he is not a big physical guy, he's 5'5" and 145 or 150 lbs. I just don't know what really happened or if anyone will find out the truth. His trial just got moved out to Oct 14th. I just wish the full truth would come out, but again, not sure it ever will.

that stump is a gifting stump to you steve...I have one here in Idaho..they leave feathers for me..the tooth is a gift to a hunter of your skill. They know who you are and how good you are at hunting...no doubt about it. the truck you drive has a sound only it has. they can hear that miles away. when you come they come ..dont be alarmed. I can prove that.they wont hurt you bud.as a matter of fact they will keep bears off of you. its not a curse its a blessing..stay safe man
Comments on the vid before this one stated that the tooth is from a bear and even gave the scientific name. But, it had to be a gift as it could never get there by itself.

Something always bothered me about the "tree smacking" thing. Then Fred put it to rest. It's not a tree being smacked at all. It's hairy man clucking his tongue on the roof of his mouth like we all did when we were kids! This action has been witnessed enough times by first nations people that we can just stop calling it tree knocking...... That's not how the sound is made.

I believe the kid from New Hampshire is referring to the Bulduc farm in Gilford New Hampshire, I live right across the lake in Wolfeboro and have had a few strange experiences over here as well. I've never seen a Sasquatch, don't think I want to but I know they're around from the experiences I've had. Thanks Steve for another great video.

Next time you go to your personal dentist for your 6-month cleaning and check-up, ask them what they believe the tooth belongs to, and next time you speak to a veterinarian for the care of Ruby or one of your horsees ask them for an identification.
You could send a photo by email to Dr. Melba Ketchum to see what she says about the size and the shape of the unknown tooth. It is unusual that the tooth seems to be in such good shape. It isn't all yellowed and still appears shiny, like the enamel is still intact.

I thought that tooth looked like a canine tooth similar to what my old Westie had lost before she died.
The Tooth:
In my opinion, based on size and shape, and apparent use, it is a molar from a mature coyote. Maybe a small wolf, though I have zero experience with wolf body parts. I've trapped and skinned many yotes and picked up bones and teeth from carcasses left out for the buzzards.
The sharp ridges show that it is from a meat eater. Rodent molars are flat on top, hollow, and continuously grow.
Fox molars are similar to coyotes but 1/4 the size.
I have never seen a tooth like that before, not that I know that much, but that was strange...a gift for Steve?

I have a friend who works with bears, trapping and re- locating, picking up bears that have been hit by cars or poached.
They pull a tooth to determine the age of the bear.

Start by take a medium close-up of the tooth. Make sure plain background with some color contrast ( blue blanket).
Do a upload to google image search.
Not a match.
Fill frame with new close-up (sharp) photo. Repeat with angle shots till you get worn out. Then sleep on it. A fresh idea will present itself.
