      If you ride, some day you will find out the joys of dropping your bike at a stop light, or when coming to a stop. It does not matter if it is a 125cc or 1098cc, dropping a two wheeled vehicle is going to happen. If you don't ride, then you have no clue what you are talking about, and should keep to things you have experience with.

    • @EvtheNev

      If you fall over at an almost complete stop you have no business on a bike much less trusting yourself to do the speed limit without dying.I have been riding since January and only been down once.Cut off in the rain at an intersection doing 45mph.Just broke some plastics.The bike and I glided a good way on the wet road though .But that guys needs a grom.Ain't no reason to have a bike you cannot keep upright.That's irresponsible.If he won't change bikes then he needs to start doing legdays.No excuse.

      Hell yeah... anybody that can laugh at themselves during a fall is worth a follow in my book... Besides it shows you had your wits about you, and that you were staying calm and not panicking. Seen too many people freak out when they are going down, and end up breaking their wrist or arm trying to stop it. You did the right things when you fell... PLUS you were wearing proper gear, SO like I said worth a follow.

      You need to learn to use your rear brake for manouvering at low speed. It makes your bike feel real stabile at low speeds. Keep tension on chain with 3-4K revs, then play with clutch to give speed and release a little rear brake, but not fully, always keep a little tension or drag the rear brake for stability at low speed.

    almost all these are due to target fixation. if you do start to run wide in a turn DO NOT LOOK WHERE YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING TO CRASH LOOK AT WHERE YOU NEED TO BE. Second is the panic turn. Motorcycles need to be steered OPPOSITE of the turn and the panic turn comes from years of instinctively turning left to make a left or right to go right.. when you panic on left hand turn and steer left it stands the bike up and begins to lean it the way your trying to avoid going making your crash happen faster. When you feel like your running out of road you need MORE LEAN AND MORE GAS.. letting off the throttle mid corner is enough to upset the bike. Perfect example at 9:04 had he been looking at the road when he first saved it instead of the tree line where he didnt want to go he would have corrected. You can also notice how he sat up and the bike straightened up going of the turn even fasten then when he was leaned this is from the panic turn i was talking about he turned the bike left thinking it was going to turn more but we know if you turn left the bike is going to go right... he also should have leaned left more when he was running out of road not sitting up on the bike which helped the bike to come out of the lean and go straight off the road

      I'm afraid that you keep some motorcycle myths alive.
      1. You are perfectly safe to brake mid corner.
      2. The front wheel goes wherever you steer. If you're running out of road, countersteering won't help.
      3. Countersteering is only used to achieve the proper lean.
      You're right about looking where you're going though.
      He either should have hit the brakes, or leaned more as he was accelerating through the curve, leaning being achieved through countersteering, meaning the bike's trajectory throughout the curve had to be changed, but not his body though as was shown in the video.

      @gur262 4 роки тому

      If you have to consciously steer you are done for anyway. If you do something different than in every other curve.... It's true people need to look where they wanna go though. Many of these accidents were idiots never learning how to use brakes at all. All rearbrake
