Thank you for annually remembering our fallen heroes. I could not attend as I was on the OMG convoy to Nijmegen on the 22nd. I had already been to pay my respects to my relative, Reg Broome, 2 South Staffs, buried at Oosterbeek. I never cease to be struck by the commemorations held each year, and especially this the 75th anniversary of market garden, in appreciation of the sacrifices made by the allies in trying to force a crossing of the Rhine.
