I sometimes forget how much the designs for the characters changed. I think my brain overall just uses the look for Batman the Animated Series. I still think of most of those as the definitive versions of the characters and I think the art design is part of that. I like the new Penguin better. I am glad they revamped to allow them to crossover with Superman and eventually Justice League, but I wish we could have had a world where the Superman designs were more like Batman the Animated series. More details does mean more time/money to animate, but boy is there a level of care in those original designs.
Classic Bane was my favorite. I hated the redesign… and it also caused a massive shift in the butterfly effect that made future animated Banes to suffer the same fate. I’ll never forgive WB for that.

I agree with all of these rankings except for Maybe poison ivy, I like her hair shape more on the redesign, the angular hair suits her more, but I love the color palette of the original, it's way more earthy, I do wish her lipstick and suit were a shade darker though. Love your takes on the designs btw, I feel the slight artsyle change made a huge difference in the designs as well as the color palettes, the originals are just more full of ... Well character lol, I like the softer shape language better for most of the characters.

I seen on UA-cam that someone made an alternate Joker looking alot like the BTAS look with the new look mixed up, if they used that design, I say it would look similar to the og versio n.
I hated the new joker. The original is the look. The only improvement in new adventure was scarecrow look and voice
