Though, I am Ivorian; I must say it is quite irrelevant of a comparison. Simply due to the relative oneness qualities and beauties within its own entities; thus are Côte D'Ivoire and Senegal. The beauty is within the eyes of the beholder. What one has, one doesn't. Separatism is what kept Africa a 100 years behind, versus the developed occidental continent. I am African American and I have been to both places. I have to say that i enjoyed both places equally. And both places were very good. I climb the stairs of that big monument in Dakar and I went uninvited to a wedding in Abijan, I guess you will have to go to both places. They are very different, but both very nice.
