1. Attention is king - relevant hooks, don't be cheesy 2. 1st impressions matter - try to leave them with a positive instead of a negative impression 3. Why isnt this channel huge? no bs course, just someone sharing their experience, hoping it'll help someone. Dont change boss! I'd love a video if possible, of you making a creative, going through your process, step by step - idea, shooting, writing... why you say certain things, hooks... all of it. Would be a great and helpful watch!
Recently came across your channel and love the videos. I’ve got a brand and we’re on our way to our first 500k in revenue and hopefully 1m by EOY I’d be really interested in seeing a video about how you break down your funnel - specifically around the customer awareness stages and how you target each stage Congrats on 3k!
Am I tripping or does this guy look and sound just like Daniel Ricciardo? Love your content dude, you encouraged me to pick up this ability I'm learning rn, best wishes from Marbella, Spain!
Great vid as always Soup! One of things I do with Culture Kings & Simon Beards personal brands is really give the brand "relevance" as opposed to just the ads. I really love how you've explained how there is a relationship between the relevance of the ad and the brand. One of things I think people also forget about the touch point aspect, is that there should be ads for each stage of that customer journey (eg: brand awareness, then knowing exactly how your product can help them - they already know your brand, etc).
So you running these billion dollar brands and keeping it on the DL eh haha. Yeah and you’re right about the different touch points, what part of the funnel do you find most tricky?
@@EcomSoup I don't "run" the brands, I just do LP's for them, as a result I talk to there media buyer a lot. RE: most difficult part of the funnel... for me, I'd say its personally creating brand awareness and figuring out when you have brand weight vs a good promotion.
I totally agree, attention is everything. I often times do not fully explain how the product works, my ad is always just to create the desire and curiosity to click on the landing page
@@EcomSoup They are doing alright. Still profitable but it has dipped a bit, CPC has went up by 2x. Working now on a new batch of creatives. My CVR is still the same, average CVR is 3.8%. Only thing that has dipped is visitors so I just need to work on creatives and get higher CTR
@@EcomSoup The store is doing alright. It is still profitable, but the profit margin has went down. My CPC has doubled in the last 3 weeks. My CVR is still the same, 3.8%. Hey David, your videos are very helpful and succinct, thanks for what you’re putting out. I’d love to see a video on how you went about getting your first ecom / copywriting clients and what that was like. Thanks again, man!
Omg I thought you're "just" doing copywriting videos. Now I'm binging. Enjoy the ride, I'm sure you know by now that this channel is gonna become very successful :) Looking forward to it!
I understand your point about evoking positivity and dream outcomes instead of negativity, but humans work better and are more attracted to avoiding pain than to getting pleasure. I want to understand what you think about this. I completely respect your opinion and I am going to test my new creatives with your vision to see how it works out for me. Thanks for providing value btw, love your videos.
Good luck with it. Every one has their own way - whatever makes you the best at getting attention and communicating value to your audience is what you should use 🙏
That first frame is so, so good. I would have liked this video more if you only stayed in this frame. Maybe a few different angles, but the background is so good.
You gave an example of what not to do with the lump of hair ad.... But you didn't give us an example of what to do or how you fixed that bad ad. Thanks for the content.

can you show us an example of a few of your ads in another video? i think people learn best by example, rather than just advice. quality advice though :)
Hey guys quick question. I looked up your brand on ad library and you only seem to have around 3 ads? How is your brand so successful? Is it google ads? Or is zero waste cartel an old brand and you have new biggies on the go?
Hey man, yes we have bigger brands but all of them use Dynamic creative so there are actually 9 sets of creative running but fb glitches out and only shows one per ad set in the ad library
How do you feel about brands like dr squatch and true classic using more gimmicky "women bait" attention grabbing hooks - do you think that just works because of the nature of how they market their brand?
For TikTok specifically, when selling trendy products like pants, hoodies, etc in dropshipping, how can you avoid creating that intial impression as a bad one (avoiding gimmicky attention grabbing, etc)? I feel like TikTok ads have a lot of "POV: It's literally $25" or "I just found the BEST...." instesad of shooting what you're talking about. When it is the beginning, it feels like you have to resort to these gimmicks to get proof of concept especially someone like me who is still testing/searching for the winning product.
That’s a great question. I’m not an expert at selling trendy products or TikTok ads. But I don’t think what you’ve explained needs to be negative. You can use those types of examples and execute it in a positive way - especially if you know what that specific market wants aesthetically 💙
