Wow! This is the best. Really love this and aspire to this level of intentional pouring. I have ventured into pouring backgrounds and then going back in with brushwork. This is “next level”. So inspired!
Your painting turned out lovely. I bought some gel a while ago, so it was great to see how to use it. It really makes a difference in showing off the leaves. Thanks again for another good lesson.
Wow. That is just beautiful. I really enjoyed watching the process and end result was just amazing. I have just discovered modelling paste and am loving it. Happy to see you back and looking forward to your videos again. 🥰🇦🇺
Beautiful - the tree certainly came to life. Did you use any silicone in the dust pan pour to bring the distant trees out? They were absolutely just right. Well done Julie!!
Oh, Julie this is truly lovely. Through you, I have come to really enjoy using my using my brush to enhance (or add to) my paintings. I'm wondering, when you did the leaves, did you let each layer of color/paint dry before you move on to the next? I know adding gel can extend the drying time and I'm wondering if you did all of the leaves while it was still wet or if you waited between between colors?
Thank you so much for watching! I didn’t leave the paint to dry between each colour. But I wish that I did before adding the highlights… I think it would have made them pop out a bit more. Good question though! I am actually going on a palette knife painting course at the weekend… see if I learn anything new 😊
I really like how the tree came to life adding the lighter green . It’s a beautiful painting xx
