    Think they’ve helped a bit with the formable buffs to make each attempt a bit different. Just wished they added maps from certain time periods like the world wars

    I think the AI nations need to be a lot more competent, if you go to war with them they should actively train units. Right now they are literally just free real-estate.
    Cities providing supply beyond their capacity is also a problem as you pointed out, maybe manpower should be localized for captured territories so they can't reinforce huge stacks?

    A cool idea for Rise of Nations:
    Tourism:
    -Countries will have a certain amount of tourists that visit their country and that brings the country some income.
    -Certain countries will have tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower or the Leaning Tower of Pisa which multiply your tourism
    -Countries that are at war will loose tourism depending on how dangerous the country is. For example, if France was being invaded by Germany, people would stop visiting France and Germany (depending on whose winning).
    -The more airports, the more tourists near those airports
    -Countries are able to build monuments or structures that give a multiplier on tourists
    -Policies that increase tourism are available

      So kinda like civ 6 except you add an income aspect. That sounds great. You could also have a sort of civic tree as well based on your tourism and the civic tree would help you get more tourism and provide special buffs to your country.

      You also can build different tourism buildings depending on what city you select. If the city is on an island, you can make resort hotels which make a ton of money.
      If the city is on a mountain, you can make a skiing resort which makes less money but still good.
      If the city is landlocked and on anything other than mountains, you only can make hotels which dont make a ton of money, maybe 100k a day and costs 30m to build each
      If the city is coastal, you can make seaside resorts which make a decent amount of money, maybe 500k but costs 200m to build each (price increases depending on city size for each type of building)
      This would actually give incentives to get land in the pacific islands (which most of the time is ignored), and countries would fight over islands like irl.
      Also, mountainous countries would get a huge boost since most of them are pretty weak.
      And , this would give an incentive for nations to gain more coastline or stop being landlocked. Most of the time being landlocked is fine, but with seaside resorts coastlines are very lucrative

    the thing about the 'no navy vs land' or 'no/less powerful arty vs ships' is that in real life this is a real thing, and they are quite effective. But aircraft carriers have way too much range just nerf that in range,

      @@karimk78 Shore bombardment is quite effective and if artillery can take out tanks, it can also damage ships (tanks were oddly enough supposed to be a ship on land so it was originally called a landship)

      But they'd have to remove the aircraft parts to the build

    Rise Of Nations needs a good dynamic combat system, a chat for factions and maybe even make a supply system where you need roads near that area to get supply like hoi4.

      Scorching destroys the supply (roads) and gives less supply instead of just putting everything in flame and killing your whole army.

      Also they should add when you surround a city and the enemy still has more than you mainly major cities they should begin dying due to inefficient supplies along with the people starving and the people begin to lose popularity in the war or the leader and in response to it makes you lose stability and the city might even rebel to declare independence now this would be worst if it was at your capital.
      Another thing is a long war like if your country has been at war with someone for like 6 years or so then you should gain less benefits sense you have to stabilize your economic situation.
      Also if your stability is low enough like at 30 or 26 and lower your military should be able to coup against you and potentially overthrowing you.
      And they should add more ideologies like monarchy,military dictatorship,and so on

      I think they should add a retreat, where say if you own one of the 5 nearest cities to an army in a battle, it can withdraw to it, that way flanking actually does something other than a defence bonus

    I think a rework of alliances could be neat. You could have an alliance chat or buying and selling goods from your alliance members would be cheaper and more lucrative. Also volunteers could be good like in hoi4. If you don’t want to completely join a war, you could send volunteers instead. I also think the attrition could be reworked. I take attrition in southern France but not in the middle of Siberia? Also adding stuff like frontlines could be cool. And infamy. For example, if you declare war on too many nations, other nations could declare war on you instantly. However they wouldn’t take anything, just make you end wars. Also special unit types for different nations and a rework of the economy. Instead of selling specific goods, you could have control of specific trade routes that provide specific goods and you could earn money that way. And trade nodes wouldn’t be a bad idea. This way smaller nations could have an easy way to make money by either controlling part of a trade route or participating in one.

      the trade route thing could be made in almost no time, we already have canals in the game, so why not update them. also it would be cool if they added cargo ships in the game, and piracy, where you have to build a good navy to protect against pirates.

    also truces take FOREVER when u Allie neighbors but then kill all the ai u just have to sit there waiting for the truce to end I think truces should be 6 months and if there is a war there is a option on how long the truce is or if there even is one

    I think Rise of Nations is too much of a statistics type game. Just spam factories and balance everything so you can spam more units. I wish there was more actual combat like the Conquerors 3, or a unique strategy like more useful flanking and supply lines. This would make players have a chance to outsmart others strategically instead of spamming factories and units.

      Plus, rise of nations fails even in that aspect. There’s no uniqueness to trade, combat, formables or anything. An interesting idea would be to have special unit types for specific nations. Like germanys special unit could be panzers and the uk could have something naval related.

    i literally dont care about anything else, all i want is skill-based matchmaking
    like mf how does a god damn kid with the most powerful internet ever easily get germany, but at the end of the day they're confused as shit or they only have 2 days of experience on this game
    its not only that there are too many noobs in this game, there could also be some no-life grandmaster nerd as cambodia or some shit who conquers all of south east asia and claps the china player despite the china actually being decent in this game
    P.S: i think what you mean by people already invading nations too fast is a justification limit, such as hoi4 where you need world tension to justify, i dont want to get into details but you can figure out the idea

    I think you should be able to justify war to annex a provice or state of the enemy like kaliningrad and then if the enemy fails to defend it and the cities are occupied for a long time you could just annex the provice but if you don't take over the provice and just keep failing after failing they could force white peace or demand war reparations

    4:49 AC needs *heavy* reform. I find it incredibly stupid that an aircraft carrier can fire over literal mountains to decimate a country like switzerland, which is landlocked and has no means of defence.

    One thing they definitely need to add is a semi competent AI, the AIs behavior when being attacked is that they lose a city and immediately run over to take it back meaning all you need to do to beat it is take one city and wait until the enemy units come to take it back and since you get defensive bonus you win and it ultimately devolves into take one city kill the enemy in defense and auto capture and for someone like me who prefers to play solo because I suck at mp games going into a private server to play solo ultimately devolves into that loop until I stop playing because I'd rather be eating bricks, and it's easy to compare this game to hoi4 but seriously hoi4s ai is at least competent enough to manage construction production army building and maintenance along with army use in war and defense which is obviously not something RON can do, now I'm not saying RON should become a hoi4 clone but it has a lot it could learn from it

    If u ever feel bored of playing ron the normal way here's a tip. Play as Tajikstan and don't conquer anything around u. Sell consumers and fortify your capital and the 3 cities south to it. Also make aircraft factory. After that make 5 transport aircraft and declare on like anybody u want. Then snipe their capital. The reaction is funny as hell and also declare war on Russia,China or India for maximum fun.

    The AI is way to easy, it makes the game boring, not to mention how it would slow down the game and prevent noobs from taking big ass countries and shitting over all the other players with their infinite manpower. It just needs to be a little better, ai should train troops, ai should try and attack you too, it doesn’t need to be THAT good, just more interactive.

    Scorching all and leaving should punish you like being banned for 1-2 hours and it exponetially increases, economy rework since elec gone and economy usually gets good only at late game unless u speedrun consumer goods, puppet rework, and cool stuff they should add would be for example an easy to beat civil war when switching ideologies to extremist side (communist, fascist or democracy) rework fund rebel its useless and rework aircraft carrier it breaks the game
    P.D: also they should add a way to add porta but not in a abusable way like airport just add a way to make a port

    i would also say that there should be a penality for over extansion, like in other paradox games for example Eu4, if u annex too much land u gain Agressive Expansion which makes pretty much any country near u with the same religion as ur country hate u, and forming a coalition to take u down
    expanding too quickly in ron is a big problem imo

    Another problem with RON is that you can hold on to any territories without any problems if you have consumers.
    You should need to place your army in newly annexed territory to hold on to it, and if you don't then the people of that area will go rebel (ruin factories, cause unrest, assassinations, ect )
    Also you can stop these rebels by sending in around 50-100k troops into the area to put it down.
    Another thing, civil wars. Civil wars should replace just declaring independence. The AI for civil wars should be just as good as an average RON player.
    Another thing that should be a thing is army moral, if the moral is low, then there would be mutinys, deserters, lower defense and attack. And high moral is the opposite

    I think it might be cool to add certain Types of infantry or tanks. For example, you could get abram tanks that goes faster and can be strong, it’s only problem is it’s mobility on winter and can be expensive to use and buy. They can also add shells to the game, factories that produce shells and maybe a crafting system for shells that do damage. And also, I will also mention each crafting on a shell 100-200 shells and 1-10 shells will be used with tanks when it goes against a single unit. These shells are easy to craft and can be also mass produce in factories. Also, the economy could be change by the population though. You can build certain jobs in cities and it requires the population, factories will need above 20-50k population to make it. For more population gain, make something like farmland builds which don’t cost much. Add cruisers, different types of planes. Different types of units can add more mega to the combat and equipping your infantry with different guns.

    Things that would be cool in ron:
    Insurgency eventually leading into a civil war like hoi4 and if you lose, you have to play with different ideologies or need to country hop
    If the rebels lose and you take too long to fix your country, you should be assassinated and have to country hop
    Monarchy and Imperialism ideologies (Monarchy should be focused on economy and Imperialism should be focused on military)
    An AI that actually fights
    Less ideology hoping: if you want to go fascist with countries like Brazil you shouldn't have to go all the way back to the right
    If you want to be Soviet Union you should have to be Comunist or at least have a flag change if you are fascist (it's just to make more sense, because why the hell is there a communist sign in a fascist country). The same should happen with Empires, you should at least be Imperialist
    Countries like Afghanistan or Syria should have a civil war some time after you joined the country, so you can prepare for war and have some diversity
    If there's a civil war happening you should be safe from other countries so you won't be destroyed while fighting rebels

      Imperialist shouldn't be it's own ideology but instead a sub-ideology. There would also need to be an economy focused version of this (ik monarchy was the one in your comment but you can't be democratic and have a monarchy but you can literally be whatever ideology and imperialist) like capitalism

    Army Morale
    Kinda debuff country with large army
    and add into more strategies
    How it works
    -Morale decide the fighting quality of your army, high morale give you attack and defense bonus, attacking defending strategic cities give your troops attack, defend boost, especially defending or attacking enemy capital your troops will better morale and low morale is opposite, troops with having worse fighting quality, having hard time attacking, defending cities, and enemy troops, if the morale low enough some division gonna having deserted troops (your division size start shrinking), mutiny (your own troops go against you) and surrendering (your troops disappear alow the enemy to progress)
    -Morale gonna be low by high war casualties, low stability, encircled divisions, lack of progress, enemy occupied more territory, lost strategic cities like factories, capital, economic problems...etc, opposite with high morale

    Basically just needs to have more strategy and not just "whoever has a bigger army wins and whoever spams consumers fastest gets the strongest economy"mostly. There should be something like issues in nationstates IMO where you get law decisions and pass legalislation on things and stuff.

    I think the idea of cities giving bonuses is good, such as Russia gaining factory output, Cairo giving less Arid Speed Reduction (like 20% cos that is useless), and the Saudi Capital idk the name of, Riyadh or smth gives an increase of oil, another good thing is the alliance/faction limit, and I do think a limit should be added, and for factions it be lowered, however also with the option to disable faction and alliance limits in private servers

    The biggest issue with navy being a numbers game is that, democracies can simply spam hundreds of ships (okay exaggeration but you know what I mean) while Noone else can afford that amount of ships,thus fucking you over,it's so frustratingly unfair

    I think there should be volenteer systems instead of immedetaly being dragged into a war if your a ally of where you can send like 5 percent of your army men to help him or sum

    I agree with pretty much all of this except for completely removing naval bombardment. I think it should stay a thing, but you get a massive defence debuff for doing it. And your ships, like the how you suggested with ground troops, shouldn't be able to have like 200 aircraft carriers in the exact same spot, and also nerf the hell out of the aircraft carrier's range, or only let it target a small area in it's range, so you can't bombard someone's entire army at once.

    I want 3 things in rise of nations:
    -private servers with toggable actual ai that pushes players back and also a map editor
    -better more complex economy
    -balanced combat and peace conferences that make sense and capitulation meters system with victory points like hoi4

    I do not care what they add, if the way peace deals work does not change, everything they could dream of would NOT solve the underlaying problem. If an AI owns half the world, I will quit if it has one singular city that I need to form. Can't I just justify for one city 😭

    So basically, I have a bug where it says im buying 0 units but in reality. I am actually buying 6 units but for now, the only thing i can do is sell and reky on people to sell the resources to me.
    (I've been struggling with playing RoN with this bug and i keep losing every battle and war. I really need a fix to this bug so i hope i can play RoN like normal again.)

    For research maybe give each section of the research tree their own research point income so you can research in more then one area at the time.

    Every Rise of Nations game IS the same. Build cities, improve each one, get closer to the enemy, invade, capture their city, assimilate, rinse and repeat.

    You have to remember that this is a Roblox game. you are trying to compare it to actual games like hoi4 when the reality is the mainly child player base already finds the game too complicated. the developer is faced with a choice of improving mechanics and losing players or keeping it simple and gaining players

    they should make a thing were you can make youre own formable with minimum 3 countries make a flag of youre own with some assets like the flag maker app and after having more than 6 countries select buffs and debuffs

    imo just play conflict of nations its a website game that has multiple gamemodes more countries like 50 units so you have a huge variety to choose from and all of them can be upgraded and it pretty much has everything rise of nations has but more

    Here me out core cities and square cities can supply any amount of troops but only for a distance like the destroyer or based on population, then supply trucks which can supply armies for a while before running out of supplies

    the aircraft carrier is balanced and i don't literally know what you mean if AC is bothering you close to your land the use arty and if it is far into the sea then just use subs they are the counter to AC and most people just don't stack AC with frigates or destroyers

    Lack of motivation and competition maybe the reason why quality updates are slow and somewhat bad
    Hyperant is probably getting paid like nothing through the donation system, not saying that this game should be pay to win or something, so why update it
    Radically changing a game is hard and could turn some players away and not guaranteed to be good
    Repetitiveness is actually not a unique thing on roblox, it is quite common but of course with some exceptions. Just because it is common doesn't mean it is good
