I Am Woman was actually written by Ray Burton, guitarist in the Australian band The Executives. Reddy had very little to do with it, apart from making some vague suggestions for him to work with. Still, never let the truth stand in the way of self-promotion.
That is highly inaccurate. Reddy co wrote it with Ray Burton. She composed the lyrics and he, the music. She actually added another verse as her record label objected to the song being so short. It appears that there are those who wish to suppress the truth that she wrote these lyrics. I wonder why?
